thoughts:
Can I just say, "What
the heck was he thinking?!" There is no way a
dedicated, committed teacher would take off and leave his
school responsibilities to have an affair then show up late
and lie about where he was to the vice principal.
I like Milton overall, but I don't
buy the way he skips class. As the series go on I hope
to see Milton grow a little more and become an integral part
of the program. I also hope he can make amends with
Louisa.
Addendum--1/9/01--Break it off Milton, and save a little
face!

Thoughts:
I think Milton is a bit wishy-washy. He
doesn't know how to handle the students, and really takes it
to heart that they think poorly of him. And knowing that
he does causes the students to go after him even more.
I never really saw Louisa and Milton as an 'ideal'
couple. (Personally I can see her with Kevin, but that's
just me I guess.) Still, I don't think he ought to have dumped
Louisa for Lisa the way he did. And if he is really this
serious about his young lady, he ought to have met with her
parents to get their blessing. |
