30 hour and 8-day Longcase Clocks

A full service will normally be necessary unless the clock has been recently serviced.
The following is included in the price of a full service:
- Clock collection (mileage charge will be payable).
- The movement is assessed then completely dismantled.
- All essential repairs will be administered in accordance with original clock.
- Plate pivot holes bushed and pinions repaired, polished as required.
- The movement will be thoroughly cleaned.
- The movement is reassembled and lubricated, new parts fitted as necessary, and tested for at least a couple of weeks.
- Delivery is then arranged, clock set up and adjusted in your residence.
- All repairs are guaranteed.

Spare parts required for satisfactory repair (set mainsprings, etc) or parts creation will obviously be additional to the basic repair cost. More accurate repair costs can be requested and will be given when the clock has been fully examined and the necessary work assessed.

Casework and refinishing can also be undertaken and is quoted on an individual basis. The cost is primarily determined on labour time. The aesthetic appearance of a clock can usually be considerably enhanced when old surface treatments are renewed.
