Koj was born into slavery under the evil Malesur with his entire family and race of man-tigers. He escaped at such a young age that he doesn't remember where they where kept, or how to free them.

After escaping he met Jarek and the two have been roaming the lands of Tellos ever since (especially Jeffsport). He's vowed to one day find and free his brethren of man-tigers, but always puts his friendship with Jarek first.
