The Bright Side is an online community with an active
mailing list and great resources for coping with emotional distress, depression and other issues survivors face.

The Brazos County Rape Crisis Center
This place offers free online counseling for survivors of sexual assault. There's a safe page where you can pose questions
and access personal responses. Turnaround time for the answers is slow, but the counselors are very helpful and kind. I
recommend it.
The Teddybear Project
Donate a teddybear for a national child sexual abuse awareness monument.
Red Ribbons for AIDS Awareness
This site features sets with bars, buttons, and stories by someone whose life has been changed by AIDS. Get your own ribbon
and help raise AIDS awareness.
Stop Child Pornography
Educate yourself about this problem, and then take action.
Legal Resources for Victims of Sexual Abuse
This site features statutes of limitations for each state on prosecuting sexual abusers, and information for survivors and
their attorneys on how to prosecute these cases.

that may be helpful to secondary survivors.
Reclaim Your Self
An online manual for survivors of sexual abuse or assault. I found it helpful, though parts of it are triggering.
The Shady Neighbor
There is some very special music here. Of particular interest to survivors are Gladiolas and The Taste of Flesh. Be warned,
you may find the lyrics triggering. As a bonus, Alex (singer/songwriter) is donating half the proceeds from the music at
