Promoting a Multicultural School Community:

Newcomers High School is an alternative high school for immigrants between the ages of 15-21. Students cannot have resided in the United States for more than four years in order to enroll at NHS. Students develop biliteracy skills through native language arts and ESL programs as well as learn content skills such as science and history. The following pictures of the hallways demonstrate how the school promotes its students' heritages and languages.
