Helping Students Work as a Team!

Cooperative learning is essential to the communicative classroom.

Pair and group work are integral parts of the communicative classroom. In cooperative learning, students learn the language by interacting in the language. Students also learn how to function as a team and learn about their peers in a cooperative learning environment. In the following pictures, students are working in groups of two or three on a prereading activity for "Romeo and Juliet."
