Entering Data

In a spreadsheet you could only enter three types of data. They could either be entered as labels, values, or times/dates. When they are in a  label form it means it is entered using text, values are in number form, and times/dates are entered as a specific time (2:30PM) or date (10/5/04).
Note:
When labels are entered into a cell they are aligned to the left, while values and times/dates are aligned to the right of the cell.

Data is entered into a cell, by clicking on that cell and then typing the data. As soon as you start to type your data, it will be shown inside the cell and on the formula bar. In addition, the cancel and enter button could now be used.

By clicking on the cancel button you would cancel the data you are entering into the cell, and it restores the cell's original contents. When you click on the enter button it would enter the data you are typing into the cell and leave the cell cursor active on that cell. If you make a mistake while typing your data, you could correct it by selecting the cell and then typing in the correct data. If you notice a mistake while you are typing, you could use the Backspace key to delete the unwanted character (s).
To Edit a Cell's Content:
1) Click on the cell you want to edit.
2) Click on the formula bar and edit its content.
3) Click the enter button to insert that content into the cell.
