Biography Information: Graybeard was born March 17, 1939. He has been employed for 31 years by the North Carolina Division of Forest Resources. Presently Graybeard is the Forest Stewardship Program Coordinator for the state. Retirement is scheduled for January 31, 1998! “I plan to to do forestry consulting on a small scale after retirement” says Graybeard. He and his wife, Faye will be married 33 years this coming June 6. They reside in New Bern North Carolina. Graybeard works in Raleigh during the week and goes home to Faye on the weekends. I have a two year degree in Administration of Criminal Justice from Napa Valley community college in California, where I grew up. Arapaho, OK . is located about 80 miles west of Oklahoma City, and 4 miles north of Clinton, OK. I am married to Amy, we just had our 10th anniversary. We have two sons, Russel 8yrs., and Jesse 6 yrs. I have done a lot of different things in my life. I've been a trucker, horse trainer, security guard, parachutist, sprint and drag racer, motocrosser, and enduro rider. I am a certified SCUBA diver, and was a member of the National Judo team in Colorado Springs, for a couple of years. I competed internationally as a brown belt. I've even been an engineer on a steam locomotive in Cripple Creek, Colorado! I am now a D.A.R.E. instructor, (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), as well as a shotgun instructor for 4-H. My family and I recently bought a "wetbike" and enjoy camping on the lakeshores of Oklahoma and Texas, riding the waves in the summer.
