Bio Information: Picture is of Shirley and Bill. We have been happily married for 37 years. Originally from Kentucky but have resided in Indiana for 30

Bio Information: My friends call me Bill. I was born in Scranton, PA but have lived in Massachusetts since I was 6 years old. I am a retired Mechanical Engineer, having worked for GE, Timex , and Telechron. I like to play tennis (only doubles now... I think they have enlarged the courts since the days when I played singles ); read; and play with my computer, especially on IRC. I like all kinds of music, especially the big-band stuff.
An avid sports fan, I follow the University of Massachusetts football and basketball teams. I am divorced (twice...you'd think I would learn huh?:) and have 3 grown daughters and 7 grandchildren. I now live in the small town of Boylston in central Massachusetts, near Worcester.

Bio: The Pic is me in Sea Rescue Uniform which is about the most recent
taken of me as I usually stay on the other side of the camera.
I emigrated to Western Australia in 1966,landing here on the 3rd of
January,to join my uncle on his farm at a place called Fitgerald River( near
Ravensthorpe).
This was to be a 2 year trial and then return home.
Someone changed the call up rules for National Service after I got here and
guess who's marble came out. Needless to say I did not go back until 15years
laterand that was for my brothers Wedding .
I am a motor cycle Mechanic by trade ,though I progressed up to Automotive
Engineer,running my own buisness until 1992 when major back surgery forced
me into an unwanted early retirement.
Retirement is not my bag,so I got involved with the Whitfords Volunteer Sea
Rescue Group.operating a home base station,which led me to instructing at
Boat Safety courses,Radio instalation and repair, also Navigation.
I am now an Invigilater for the Australian Communication Authority in V.H.F.
and H.F. Marine Radio.
In my spare time I am the President of the local Ratepayers
Association-second 3year term .I am also suburb Manager for Neighbourhood Watch.
Living In Burns is great , it is right by the ocean ,so I can walk my poodle
Muffy and go for a swim whenever I feel Like it .
Tiger my ginger cat is not so keen though.
My interests include,photography,electronics,gardening,motor cycle
raceing,and trying to get this now outdated 2yr old computer to do what I
want instead of what it wants!!!!!.
Finally but most importantly,I would like to find that special lady I know
must be out there, somewhere for me to love ,and care for , who would want
to share her life me, and I with her .

Bio: Married to Irene for the last happy 16 years.

History: Came to Canada from England (widnes just outside Liverpool) in 1958 by joining the royal Canadian Air Force. Served until 1963 as Radar Technician. Upon release did stint on DEW Line, Worked as Marine Electronics Technician for a couple of years, then got into Computer maintenance, Peaked as National echnical Support Manager for Motorola. Returned in technical work when echnology moved support to a specialist in remote head office. Accepted early retirement in 1993. We recently moved to Trenton, Ontario from the country as Irene insists on neighbours when I am away cruising. Planning a cruise as crew to Bahamas and back leaving September 1, 1998.
Time on Computers. Much experience on obsolete machines. Know far more about COBAL than Windows. If anyone wants help with the EASYCODER language used on the Honeywell 200 series: I am available. Used an IBM-XT for about 5 years for LOTUS123 and Wordperfect. Graduated to a 486 in September of 1997.

Biography: Precipitated on the face of earth on December 30, 1920, Charlie has since been engaged in a futile attempt to return more to it than he subtracts. He fathered three children who, in turn, have created three grandchildren, and still lives with the woman who cooperated in the effort. Retiring from engineering work at the age of 69, he spent two years working out some technical problems accumulated during his career, publishing the results (bringing the number of his publications to some 34) before realizing there were more important things in life than engineering. In the ensuing six years he has made himself a repository of every bias and bigotry that is currently illegal, but used to be endlessly amusing back in the good days. The possessor of a uniquely distorted sense of humor, he now devotes several hours every day to the pursuit of three objectives. In order of evidence they are (1) Expansion of his waistline, (2) Quickly alienating or endearing the people he contacts (the ratio is about 8:1), and (3) Attempting to maintain minimal competence, not only in applied mathematics, but also in his principal avocation music, especially playing dissonant academic music on the piano. redheaded boy and the only child of my parents, who divorced by the time I was 4 years old. I graduated from Ben Davis High School, where I was active in the school news paper and choir..I
went to Purdue University at Lafayette, Indiana and was honored to be the first Freshman to ever be in the Purdue Glee Club and the Collegiate Singers. At this time I was tenor soloist on
several occassions. My proudest moment was to sing solo at the opening ceremonies for President Eisenhour and Vice-president Nixon. My college major was psychology and minor was
mathematics. I went to work for Wonder Hostess Cake on a part time basis in sales and stayed 14 years. My other achievements include to marry Judy in 1962, one daughter, two sons
and six grandchildren. I sang several years with the Crusade Quartet until 1978 when we moved to Florida. My wife and I own Center State Properties, a real-estate brokerage, Judy is the broker of record and I am her licensed salesman. I am a state certified Detention/Deputy and have worked for the Polk County Sheriff Office for approximately 11 years. My computer skills are still novice, but am loving ever minute of it. I love the continuos daily learning and the challenge of
it all. Have met some really great people and I enjoy you all. I own three computers and lots of

Bio: Wed. Nov.19,1997 Slidell, louisiana. When you become a widow after 51
1/2 years with the same man, you kind of feel like a baby sea turtle
born in the warm sun of a sandy beach, where all the sea birds are
waiting to gobble you up (life). You make a guick choice, to sit in
that warm sunny sand or run for your life to the open waters of the sea
that is waiting for you to accept new choices in life and grow with
it!!! I choose the beginning of a new life and the closing, but always
the memories of the old one. I still have my two grown sons james 47
and donald 40, who gave me four grandsons 16 to 22 and 3 grandaughters
16 to 22. From my grandaughters i have 2 lovely greatgrandaughter 1 and
2 years old with twin great grandsons expected in Jan. Since only a
year has passed since the loss of our husband,father and grandfather i
put up a large Christmas tree and intend to celebrate the season in the
Christian way we have always followed, worship our Lord and be together
as a family, and to let them all know that i am still here very much for
them. I was born and raised in the city of Chicago, Illinois on Oct.6th
1924. My father wa an inginneer and believed even at that time in an
education, thus i am a holder of a batchlor of arts degree from
Northwester University, Evanston, illinois. Being the time of WW-11 i
went to California in the civilian signal corps and met my future
husband. Louisiana rebel in bell bottom trowsers USNavy! We married in
July 5th 1945 and when he was discharged we came south, and ended up in
Slidell, Louisiana where he joined the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local
60 and after 40 years retired from the Local. Slidell is where we
raised and educated our children while i taught High School Science for
35 years at the Slidell, High School. I lost My Husband on Oct.27,
1996. Since then i have taken the time to doa a little traveling and
am trying my darndest to learn a little about this computer toy i bought
to keep my mind occuppied. Alas i have become addicted, and spend way
too much time on the #50Retired Chanel. I have traveled 4 times this
year to meet chanel friends, i went to Kentucky on a bash with a
chanel. I spent a week in Oct. in Penn. and the story is on the
newsletter. I spent a week in Clearwater, Flouida with a friend and
then went to Carbondale, Illinois for a week to visit my older sister.
I love cajun cooking, sewinging, canvas oil painting and love to paint
on sweat and t shirts. My favorite time is spent on the chanels with
student from other lands, 2 in indonisia and early morning the a
Austrialians come on and they are a joy to chat with. Just went through
surgery but did wonderful with it and am now getting ready to join
you all in June at the bash in Clinton, Okla. I Pray that i
make it.

I have met and become friends with two of #50 retired friends (Elktooth)
and (Goutman) both of near Alexandria, Louisiana it was wonderful to
meet them face to face and their wives and familys. See you on

Bio: Charles was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graduated from Will Rogers High School there in 1949. Joined the Air Force in 1950 during the Korean conflict. After being discharged, he enrolled at the University of Tulsa receiving his BA in 1958 and his law degree in 1961. After various positions he retired in 1992 as Assistant District Attorney having served in Beckham and Blain counties, Oklahoma. He is presently a District Judge with the Osage Nation Tribal Court having been elected to such in 1996. He is very active in his church serving as church photographer, Chairman of the Growth Committee and a member of the Visitation Committtee. He has been into computers only two years and still has much to learn. He enjoys playing the piano and doing genealogical research. He has two sons, one manager of a jewlery store in Kansas City and the other in advertising business in Dallas. The son in Kansas City has an 11 year old son and a 2 year old daughter.
Darla was born and reaared in Sayre, Oklahoma. She attended Southwestern State University and majored in elementary education. She is now a retired school teacher. She also is active in her church serving as a Sunday School teacher and on the visitation committee. She has two sons; the oldest is a Driller on a rig working in Texas and the other is a medical doctor working in his second year of residency in Amarillo, Texas studying Family Medicine. She, like Charles is not very computer literate.

SweetSue and I have lived in South Florida for 27 years. We are from Philadelphia Pa.
Retired for the most part- I am still involved as a writer for several national syndicated
papers. Spend much of my time giving speeches and being a general workaholic at
community organizational work. In the real world I was a Chartered Life
Underwriter (CLU) and Sue in addition to being a US Army Cadet Nurse when I
married her then she became an Insurance Broker and then also became a travel
agent.
As a recreational Vehicle owners we have been across the USA and Canada to
Alaska and down to Mexico several times as well as having been to 52 foreign
countries. If I have been there....I wrote about it and I will be happy to
email you my article on perhaps something covering where you live too.
