Dogs, Dogs and more Dogs!

"Rebel" for Cheri Hayek

Rebel was a beautiful blue merle collie.

"Sadie" for Mary Ann Collins

Sadie is part boxer.
Mary Ann says:
"To know who's behind the painting you must
know Libby. She does intricate, extremely detailed
work that boasts a certain whimsical sense
of humor... she has all of the fine qualities you seek
in an artist! She painted our dog, Sadie,
in watercolors, and it is so "her" I just love it!"

"Anton" for Gisela Baltensperger

Anton is a Bernese Mountain Dog.
Gisela has had me paint eight of her dogs!
She raises Berners, and with these watercolor
headstudies, she can add paintings to her
grouping as she adds dogs!
Gisela Baltensperger says:
"I love my paintings they look so real.
it is nice to look at the paintings after my
lovely Berners are no longer with me.
Libby, you are doing a great job!!"

"Gisela and Her Boys"

Gisela and two of her boys in Wyoming.
She and her husband often travel with 6 or so
Bernese in their van!

"Katy & Ziggy" for Sheron Rohner

Katy and Ziggy are as devoted to Sheron
as she is to them!
I never knew what nice dogs 'Rotties' were until
I met them and Ziggy brought me his toy.

"Xena" for Bill & Kelly Gonio

What an impressive sweetheart this dog is.
And she was a rescue! Bill and Kelly nursed her through
a lot of health problems initially and she is now a
great part of the Gonio family. My favorite 'Xena moment'
was seeing her enthusiastically lick her family's new kitten!

"James Drimalla & Zaccheus"

On another page you will see I painted
James's sister Jean Drimalla with her
horse. I love it that James is seated on
his mother's 'prayer rock'. Isn't that Chihuahua cute!
Everyone likes his boots too!
