Jeremiah was the last great prophet during the final 40 years of the kingdom of Judah. He was an unpopular dude because he kept forecasting that Jerusalem was doomed and everything totally screwed up in the most major way, so folks went out of their way to torture his ass and ignored his advice. Well, what he said came to pass and he had the last laugh after all!
