If you think about it, learning all the variations against a hand pattern is exactly the way a drummer needs to play while playing time....here is quite a sexy one : )

It's great to learn.It makes a fun change from 8ths or 16ths on the hi hat.

 

soon you will have noticed to play a bass drum along with a broken funk bass line you will have to build up some co-ordination.

As normal here is a breake down of all tricky the 16th notes you will need to get there : )  (think of the hard ones as a longer term project over the days or weeks )
