They say I'm sick, twisted and weird

They say, "A freak like you should be hated and feared."

I wonder why they just can't understand

I am just different, and put out their hand.

I don't seek to cause any grief not a robber, a rapist, a thief

Just different, I love to live in the night.

I love the cool air, the fresh breeze, the dull sight.

Why do they want all to fit in their mold?

Don't they see difference is beauty to behold?

Beauty to embrace, not to be sold.

But when faced with difference hearts turn stone cold.

I'm not sick, twisted, or weird not some freak, some animal,

Not to be feared, just different that's all,

Take a chance, make a new friend.
