More animals, more patience.
In national parks, the creatures are often more used to
intrusion into their domain, and so will frequently put up
with photographers. That does not mean they are tame, as
many unfortunate nature seekers have discovered. Stay in
your car, and keep the engine running in case you need to
leave in a hurry. Use a telephoto lens whenever possible to
avoid disturbing the animals, and putting yourself at risk
unnecessarily. A fast shutter speed will produce images that
are not affected by the vibration of the car
engine.
