The Staffordshire Bull Terrier should not be confused with the American
Staffordshire Terrier, or Pit Bull, which has been developed along quite different

Character and care
The
Staffy is one of the most popular pets and show dogs. It makes a find household
dog as well as guard, being an affectionate and game companion which adores
children. However, it is not averse to having a scrap with its fellows, usually
emerging the victor, and so it is sensible to keep it on a leash while out
walking. This totally reliable, smooth-coated dog is easy to look after, requiring
little other than regular brushing.
