A special note to the visitors of the Becker Fansite: HI, MY NAME IS SAACHIKO. I PLAY NURSE JOHNSON IN THE BECKER EPISODE ENTITLED, STUMBLE IN THE BRONX. I CAME HOME AFTER MY FIRST REHEARSAL ON THE BECKER SET AND TOLD MY HUSBAND, "DOM, THEY WERE SO NICE., EVERYBODY MADE ME FEEL LIKE A MEMBER OF THE FAMILY!" THE REGULARS CAME UP AND INTRODUCED THEMSELVES AND TED DANSON LED THE WAY. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, WARM, AND SUPPORTIVE NOT JUST TO ME BUT TO EVERYONE. I ALSO HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THE AUDIENCE MEMBERS BEFORE THE TAPING OF THE SHOW. THEY SAID HI! THEY ASKED ME ABOUT THE SHOW. I TOLD THEM THEY WOULD ENJOY THEMSELVES. MOSTLY THEY WERE EXCITED. WHAT I REALIZED THEN WAS THAT IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE POSITIVE ENERGY OF THE WHOLE COMPANY. THEY’VE CREATED A PLACE TO WORK AND TO SHARE THAT WORK. AND THE AUDIENCE PICKS THAT UP. IT WAS WONDERFUL. UP-DATE: DOM MAGWILI, STANN NAKAZONO, AND I MADE AN INDEPENDENT FILM ENTITLED, MUCH ADOBO ABOUT NOTHING. IT WAS SCREENED AT THE DIRECTOR’S GUILD THEATER IN LOS ANGELES EARLIER THIS YEAR AND WILL BE SHOWN AS PART OF A FILM FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY. WE HAVE A WEB PAGE FOR THE DETAILS. www.loop.com/~stannak ALSO, IN DECEMBER WE ARE IN REHEARSALS FOR OUR CHRISTMAS MUSICAL SHOW ENTITLED, A JIVE BOMBER’S CHRISTMAS TO BE SEEN IN LOS ANGELES AT THE JAPANESE AMERICAN NATIONAL MUSEUM 12/9, 12/10, 12/11, & 12/12.
