BEACH BOYS - BEACH BOYS JOURNALS (8 CDS)This is an 8 disc box set covering the 1st 7 years of the Beach Boys. The packaging is very nice, the discs are all 24k gold, and it includes a nice booklet with plenty of pictures and press clippings and a comprehensive track listing (with a smattering of errors). The set itself offers practically nothing that isn't available on some other boot. Also, many of the tracks were clearly lifted from the discontinued 2fer's and the GV box set. However, for completists who don't have every boot, or new collectors who missed the 2fer's but want it all on disc, this set does include a lot of stuff.
