Mariah and Brandt Ashley and Mariah have really missed Brandt while they are on furlough in Canada (2002) Fortunately, Andy and Lieke have two girls, Noel and Tyana, whom they have grown quite fond of. Ashley and Mariah are close friends. Carolyn puts in full hours with homeshooling, housekeeping, and language learning.
Carolyn had a chance to take the kids to Jakarta to visit Ibu Bustomi while Steve went back to the States to attend a Language Workshop in June of 2002. The Bustomis and Crocketts minus Steve. Ashley loves horseback riding. She really wants a horse in the tribe. It's not going to happen. Ashley with Ibu Bustomi's daughter. Mariah horseback riding.
Carolyn and Ibu Bustomi's daughter. Visiting a tea plantation in Bandung. Girls will be girls. Any wedding within a hundred miles and they'll find it. Mariah holding her first tooth. I told her if we tied it to a string, tied the string to a door and slammed it, the tooth would come out easily. She didn't believe me! After being separated for a month, (Steve in the USA attending a Language workshop) it sure was good to be back together again.
