SHE's AS GOOD AS IT
GETS

Quote: "I think people are in love with country music because it tells a story....maybe their story. It's straight forward and genuine and sometimes light-hearted. It's easy to love country music," and we at Pharaoh know you'll love Barbara Morrison.

BARBARA MORRISON

"YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU"

(check back for excerpt on "Welcome Back Heartache")

SENSATIONAL is the only word to describe the very talented and lovely BARBARA MORRISON. If Barbara describes her band as "severely talented" (and she does), then strictly speaking, Barbara is talent supreme among country music artists. She'd rather be on stage singing than anywhere else in the world and after you listen to the excerpt from, "YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU" (Barbara Morrison), from her newest album (My Heart's With You on BB Records), you'll agree that center stage is exactly where Barbara belongs. Barbara's debut on Pharaoh came three years ago (summer, 1999), when she released two songs, "I Wish I Could Say" (Bob Bernstein, Dottie Beck) and "Welcome Back Heartache" (Bob Bernstein, Alan Weckler). Both songs were heavily playlisted on radio and charted through out Europe, and continue to receive airplay today. "WELCOME BACK HEARTACHE" did so well, in fact, that we decided to release it again on the LIL THIS 'n THAT vol.#1 compilation CD series (released 2000)and again this year on the newest compilation, "A Lil This 'n That", volume three, so that all the new radio station contacts and fans would have a chance to hear it. As with the first release of that song, it sky-rocketed again and made it to U.S. radio as well as the interenet radio (as well as being heavily playlisted throughout Europe). Additonally, for the first time since Barbara joined Pharaoh Records, she was also featured (track #7) with a new self-penned song entitled, "SILENT PARTNER" on the LIL THAT 'n THAT, volume one comp CD.

Country music is in the lady's blood. Both of her parents were accomplished musicians; her mother even taught her to sing harmony when Barbara was 4 years old. Barbara also listened to and sang along with her favorite hits over the radio, and that along with later performing live with several bands helped Barbara to develop an artist's confidence and sense of style unparalled by its technical and artistic proficiency and professionalism.

Barbara debuted her rich crystal-like vocals singing at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe. She then went on to appear onstage at the Nashville Palace and the beautiful Opryland Hotel. Since then she's been in high demand as a featured performer and yearly favorite at fairs and festivals throughout America; she's entertained at theme parks like Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland in California, and also graces Las Vegas showrooms. In between, Barbara's shared the bill with Brooks & Dunn, John Anderson, Michele Wright, Asleep At The Wheel, Baillie & The Boys, Riders In The Sky and Hank Thompson.

Her incredible talent so impressed distinguished Nashville producer/music business instructor Jim Foglesong that he invited Barbara as a guest speaker to his music industry class at the prestigious Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Listen to this incredibly exquisite voice from Pharaoh and you'll never want to stop listening.
