We are starting Monthly Crime Meetings - Please attend!

December 6th (Saturday) is the 1st meeting at the Loon's Attic - Please RSVP the Patrol so we can reserve your seating.  2pm is the start time!  See the map for directions.

Wasilla Police, Public Safety and Hopefully Palmer Police Department and Alaska State Troopers will also be present but that has not been confirmed yet.

The Loon's Attic has graciously offered to hold the meetings and If everyone that wishes to attend would RSVP by email, we can make sure there is enough room for everyone to be comfortable.  I will be inviting local law enforcement and ask that they be prepared to inform us of any situations in our communities that we may be able to assist them with, and to bring any safety/security publications we could have to pass out to those who desire them.  This will be your opportunity to ask what is being done about crime in our area and learn how we as citizens can help reduce crime.  The meeting should be very informative.  I also plan on inviting some local security companies in case attendee's are curious about alarm systems, prices and such.  Please let us know if you would like other persons invited.

I will try to get some surveillance equipment set up so you can see how easy it is to install, and answer questions about that.

Palmers Neighborhood Watch Neighborhoods hold a monthly meeting at the Palmer Library every 2nd tuesday of the month- I would like to start doing the same here in Wasilla.  I will also start attending their meetings and can post relevant information here for our watch programs to access.  This is a great way to network, meet your neighbors, and find out what is going on in your neighborhoods. If you can not attend, let me know and I would be glad to email you any information about the meeting, but will most likely publish the minutes on the website so everyone can benefit.
