Anchorage Crime Map (Interesting)
On May 30, 2006, at 2027 hours, Wasilla Police responded
to a burglary at a residence on Snohomish. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) had forced their way into the residence
and took an undisclosed amount of cash. No suspects have been identified and the investigation is continuing.
Wasilla/Theft 5/20
At 10:24 a.m. Friday, Susan Steinman, 52, of Wasilla reported someone stole items from her bedroom.
Between April 28-May 9 someone stole $1,500 worth of items and a checkbook.
Wasilla Case number: 06-40464 Type: Burglary/Theft On 5/16/06 at approximately 1039
hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report from Reeve Carlson, age 31 of Wasilla, that items were taken from his house
near Black Bear Circle in Wasilla. Investigation revealed some time between 5/7/06 and 5/12/06, unknown persons went
into the residence and stole a vacuum cleaner and fan. There was no signs of forced entry. Loss is estimated
at $519.00. Investigation is continuing.
Wasilla/Burglary, theft 5/18/06
Between 6:05 p.m. and 10:03 p.m. Thursday troopers received three separate reports of a burglaries
at an apartment complex on Mayflower Lane. The three apartments lost $3,800, $2,000 and more than $500 worth of items were
respectively. One apartment sustained $300 in damage.
Wasilla/Burglary, theft 5/18/06
At 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Vickie Rollins, 44, of Wasilla reported that sometime that morning someone
entered her residence located on North Red Fox Circle and took electronics and jewelry valued at $20,000.
AK Bureau of Alcohol & Drug Enforcement Location: Wasilla Case number: 06-38597 Type:
Marijuana Grow Operation The Mat Su Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a Wasilla residence and seized a
commercial marijuana grow operation. Investigators seized 28 live plants, related growing equipment, firearms,
scales and processed marijuana. A 10 year old female and a five year old female were home alone when the warrant was
executed. Charges of MICS IV, MIW II and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor will be forwarded to the Palmer
District Attorney. The Mat Su Narcotics Unit is comprised of Investigators from the Alaska Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Enforcement,
Wasilla Police Department and the Palmer Police Department. This law enforcement investigative effort was supported
by a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs.
Knik/Burglary, theft, criminal mischief 05/10/06
At 6:51 p.m. May 10 troopers responded to a burglary on Rohn Drive in Knik. Sometime that day someone
forced open the door of a residence, causing $600 damage, and stole $1,300 worth of property.
Wasilla/Burglary, theft 05/09/06
At 11:49 a.m. May 9, Charles F. Juge, 56, of Wasilla reported that a mobile home on Independence Drive
had been burglarized. Sometime between in the past two months someone entered a mobile home Juge uses as a storage building
and stole $1,000 worth of hardware.
Theft
At 11:50 a.m. May 9, Kyrie Towns, 18, of Wasilla, reported that someone entered the Cold Stone Creamery
and took $1,300 in cash. The store had opened at 11 a.m. and nothing appeared suspicious or unusual. Some of the cash was
contained in two maroon bank bags bearing the 1st National Bank of Anchorage emblem
Location: Wasilla Case number: 06-33359Type: Burglary, Theft II On 4-25-06 at approximately
1423 hours Steve Baker, 48, of Wasilla reported to Troopers someone gained access to his neighbor's residence located on Schrock
Rd. in Wasilla. Investigation determined someone unlawfully gained entry into the residence during the last month and
took various items valued at approximately $1200. Investigation is continuing.
Wasilla Case number: 06-33577 Type: Theft III On 4-25-06 at 0930 hours,
Randy Scott, 52, of Palmer reported to Troopers that on 4-21-06 at approximately 1700 hours, someone took a saddle and
hay hooks valued at approximately $200.00 from his business located on the Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. in Wasilla.
WASILLA POLICE 04/20/06 Burglary
At 6:45 a.m. Thursday, Wasilla High School Principal Dwight Probasco reported a break in
at the school. Someone entered the building through a broken window sometime during the night. Total cost of the window and
items taken from the building are yet to be determined.
Wasilla Case number: 06-32613 Type: Theft II On 4-22-06 at approximately
0913 hours Jeremy Lee, 35, of Wasilla reported to Troopers that sometime between 0010 hours on 4-22-06 and 0900 hours on 4-22-06
someone broke a window of his car located on Tacketts Cir. in Wasilla and took some vehicle parts valued at approximately
$700.00. Investigation is continuing.
Wasilla Case number: 06-32631 Type: Burglary I On 4-22-06, at approximately
1100 hours, Douglas Parker age 53 of Anchorage contacted Troopers to report his residence located on Beverly lakes Rd.
was broken into. Investigation revealed that sometime within the last three weeks Parker's residence was broken into and approximately
$1,600.00 of power tools were stolen from the garage. Damage to the the door is estimated at approximately $ 25.00 . Troopers
are continuing with the investigation.
Wasilla Case number: 06-32733 Type: Criminal Mischief III On 4-22-06 at approximately
1600 hours, AST responded to a report of damaged property at a residence off of Wanamingo Drive in Wasilla. Jeffrey
Moore, age 35, of Wasilla reports that the passenger side window of his white 2003 Ford F-350 was broken out. The damage
is estimated at $600.00 for replacement of the glass. No property was removed or stolen. The incident occurred
sometime between 0900 and 1545 hours today.
