Hi there! I'm Saffire and welcome to my "House of Cats"! I hope you love
cats as much as I do because they're all over this place. :-)

First I'd like to say why I dedicated this site to cats. I have a great love
for all animals but cats are my greatest love. I've had lots of different
pets including cats, dogs, a rabbit, hamster, birds and even a tarantula
(which I came to enjoy holding!). This is why my web site is dedicated to
these beautiful, innocent things. I've grown up with cats in the home and
found each one had its own unique personality. I truly loved each one of
them.

Now we have 2 beautiful cats who share our home. Shadow and Smokey,
who each have their own story. Shadow is a big, gentle, lovable guy who
tells how one day someone shot him, and Smokey is a goofy little guy who
just loves to have fun. Through having cats around I have learned how
wonderful they are. Their love is unconditional; they trust us with their
lives; they are kind, gentle little souls who just give and want to be loved.
I see this on a daily basis when looking into their eyes. When I'm sick or
sad they snuggle me as if to say "It's OK mommy I'm here", or if I'm out
they watch and wait for me to return home. I am honored by the the love
they have for me and feel the least we can do is return this love to them.
They never ask much of us.
