This web site provides information about rape and abuse recovery and some poetry. It also provides chat rooms for significant others and a child abuse prevention forum.I am a date rape suvivor and a child abuse survivor.
If you are a survivor this site contains some information to help you in your recovery. If you are the friend or significant other of a suvivor I have provided you with information also.
If you have been raped you are not alone. There are support groups of other survivors on the web. The links to those are provided here. No matter what you did or what you wore you are not responsible. You did not deserve to be raped or abused. I hope that some portion of this will help you heal as it has me.
Hi. My name is Sandra McCoy. I am 29 years old. I am now divorced. I have a degree in nursing and love computers. For fun I like to lift weights and play softball. My favorite pasttime is fishing but I enjoy any outdoor sports. I also enjoy playing the guitar and painting.
This web site is about who I am and the two forces that have shaped my life. I am a child abuse and rape survivor. I have survived something that tried to destroy to me and so can you.
You and I are both worth the effort and time it takes to rebuild our lives. We can and will survive because not surviving means that those who have hurt us win. Surviving is about power just as rape and abuse is about power.
