When I think of Nazareth House and what we all went through
it leaves me feeling so sick
and hurt I have trouble trying
to get over you.

You nun's were so callous sadistic and cruel our life in there was so hard it left us all just so sad and blue. We never knew what we did do for you to treat us in such an appalling way that you saw fit to use and abuse us in such an abhorrent way.

It never even touched your heart when our tears they poured down so fast what did we ever do to make you beat and abuse us through and through?. Had we not suffered enough before we went into your so called "care" with you, we wre left bent broken and Oh! so very scared we had come from broken homes we had come from single families some came with no parent's at all but not one ounce of love did you show to us all.

You were so sadistic you were so cruel what had we the innocent children ever done it was a living hell behind those big gates and doors you made us suffer so much hell it gave us nightmares in the dark just like our world with you so gloomy, cold stark and dark as many of us never ever told year after year as we went through your torture and torment.

So many of us the children wanted to end our lives because we just did not have the strength many a time to keep getting back up, Oh how you made our world for us so black and gray we could never ever say.

No encouragement or kindness did
you give to us while we were there is this not what makes a child bloom and grow just like a rose? you saw fit to leave us the children withered and torn many of us just wished we had never ever been born.

You not only lashed out to us
with horrid sticks, canes and
belts but also with your tongue
Oh! my God how these words you said to many of us left us broken and bent in a heap that when we went to bed at night we would constantly just weep and weep.

The times we desperately prayed
to God up above that someone
somewhere would come and rescue us from you we children were full of so much misery and pain and for us who dared to answer you back you made it worse from the start and your lashings made many of us the children fall to the ground such strength you did have when those evil canes fell down across our backs.

You left us so bloodied and sore we constantly begged you Oh God Please NO MORE but no notice did you take of our pleading and we were in so much pain. How could you just ignore our pain and pleading for you to STOP and let us be .

Such a cruel and sadistic regime  we the children suffered inside with you as we were forgotten and continually abused we the children from those awful Nazareth House hellhole Homes
