After 3 weeks we were cold & hungry we went into the police station & told them we had run away from Nazareth House
Aberdeen but the police say today they have no record of this according to CIB=
The Criminal Injuries Board...I find that
most astonishing, Because the nuns could not pick us up that day we were put into a remand centre overnight until they
the nuns came to collect us the next day. I was very frightened, I would have thought at least the police would have
had a record of that but no records available I have been told in a letter from the CIB=Criminal Injuries Board via my lawyer so amazing I think.

The two nuns came to collect us from the
remand centre & were all sweetness & light to the staff there but when we
arrived back in Aberdeen well what a
tranformation these nun's had the other
girls were warned not to speak to us, so in effect we were sent to Coventry. The nuns split myself & the other girl up I
was given a toothbrush with a bowl of water to scrub this massive dinning room on my hands & knees & Sister xxxxxxxx would come along and hit me while I was doing it and made me scrub it over & over several times saying it was not done properly.

I was under child care until I was eighteen and guess who my child care
officer was when I left Aberdeen...a nun! I just could not seem to get away from them. I transferred to a home in
Liverpool (UK) until I was seventeen & a half then went to stay with my sister who lived in London (UK) because she said
she would look after me, and she was married and settled by that time.

When I came out because I was happy at Liverpool I found it very hard to adjust to the outside world. I went to share a
flat with seven other girls after a few weeks with my sister & got a job. I met my husband John at a party in London and we have been together ever since 31
years. We married in 1971 & I was 6 months pregnant at the time but my husband had the option either to stay or
go. I explained to him just because I was
pregnant did not mean he had to marry me but thankfully he stayed. I have one daughter 31 , 3 grandsons & 3 grandaughters from the age of 11 years to 9 months & I adore each and every one of them they all have very different characters and personalities and get a
lot of cuddles from me & I am always telling them how beautiful, good and
clever they are.

THE NAMES OF THE NUN'S HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT OF MY PERSONAL STORY DUE TO LEGAL REQUIREMENTS TO PROTECT THE GUILTY PARTIES...
