Mr President Bush,
It gives me great honor that you find time to read a letter from a retired Army soldier as myself. I am in need of your assistance. As a registered Republican I contacted Senator Ensigns office of my termination from USPS. The final result were unsatisfactory. He accepted the lies that USPS gave him. I then filed an EEO complaint which USPS breached the mutual agreement we made. I have been unemployed for four months having moved from California to work for USPS here in Nevada. My most recent letter to Postmaster General John Potter dated 17 Oct 2003 prompt me to construct a website, http://usps_rdizon.tripod.com; to show most of the correspondence I made are consistent in contrast to USPS statement in their reply letter indicating otherwise.
I served twenty one years in the US Army and proud of it. I was even awarded a Humanitarian Service Medal by President Ronald Reagan for helping FAA control air traffic during the PATCO ATC strike. So for the supervisors at USPS to say I can not follow instructions and a safety hazard is a lie. The main reason I later found out was they did not want to bother with reporting the dog bite injury I receive delivering USPS mail. It was easier to terminate me, a practice they do to temporary casual carrier as myself. They have done everything to cover up the dog bite incident. Being a mail carrier is not easy work although no comparison to Air Traffic Control but I believe it is rewarding and plus you get a lot of exercise. Something I would like to continue doing if reinstated. Any assistance your office can provide is very much appreciated.
Sincerely Yours,
Richard Dizon
