Mr. Jack Potter,
This is a followup letter I sent dated, July 18, 2003. I have not heard from anybody from the USPS except the letter stating that my correspondence with you was returned to the Las Vegas District Office. I have been trying to communicate with Silverado Post Office above my dog bite that occurred while I was delivering mail a week before I was terminated. I provided the supervisors Rex and Shirley information when it happened, now they claim there is no record of the incident.
Request an investigation on this matter so I can ascertain that the dog is current on all its inoculation. Because two days after the dog bite, I was burning with fever but I continued to deliver mail in fear of losing my job should I go on sickcall. It saddens me to think that this is the real reason for my termination. I had very high respect for the leadership within United States Postal Service. Thinking the leadership quality were the same as when I was still serving in the US Army.
Mr. Potter it is apparent to me that nobody cares about my dilemma within the Las Vegas area. So you are my last hope in getting a solution to my problem.
Respectfully,
Richard Dizon
