Email to Senator Reid,
I have been terminated from the post office and the reason is the supervisors created a façade on my being bitten by a dog on one of my route delivering a certified mail. I reported the incident to two supervisors Shirley and Rex. I find out that there is no report of me being bitten by a dog. They were more concerned about the mail being delivered than the health of a casual carrier. I truly believe this is the reason for my termination not what they claim which was a driving violation. It is rumored that casual carriers are terminated for no reason prior to them being a permanent worker with the postal service. There are numerous casual carriers that are put at risk due to the supervisors not concerned for our safety and well being. As a casual worker I was ridiculed and given no respect although I tried sacrificing my health and my pride just to try and please the supervisors at Silverado Post Office, 455 Pebble Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89123. I have written the Post Master General twice with no response. The second time I mailed it certified, restricted delivery with a return receipt. A copy of the letter I wrote Mr. Jack Potter is attached. I was very low key working at Silverado trying very hard to please these supervisors, I was a yes man, even though, I am a retired US Army soldier and know the difference between right and wrong and for these supervisors to treat me like dirt is disappointing to say the least.
