Senator Ensign,

I was terminated by United States Postal Service for reasons that are not compliance with what they are actually doing.

I was bitten by a dog while delivering mail, one female carrier put a band aid on the cut and told me to tell the supervisor which I did.  I told Rex first then Shirley,  supervisors at 455 Pebble Rd. Post Office, Las Vegas,  NV.  I was then intimidated in not reporting the incident until they terminated for some made up reason.  Although, I am a retired US Army soldier, I joined the post office as a casual worker which is the quickest way to get a job with USPS.  Later on I find out that Casual workers are terminated by supervisors for no reason.  We are treated like dirt like we do not exist.  Until now they have not contacted the owner of the dog that bit me to know if it is current in its shots.  Since I have been bitten by the dog I get chills and fevers.  I truly believe this dog biting incident is what causes me to get terminated.  I do not remember the exact date this happened but there are numerous people there that know I was bitten by a dog.  I made a Beware of Dog report for that route that the supervisors are aware of.   Because besides the female carrier that gave me first aid other people knew because  I would come to work in the morning some one would be howling like a dog to joke with me.  I was doing an outstanding job at the Post Office it all changed after the dog biting incident.  I would like your help in keeping my job at USPS.  I served twenty one years with the US Army.  Delivering mail with USPS I can do with relative ease.
