Mocha

MOCHA WAS ADOPTED JUNE 3, 2001!

What made us decide to take Mocha from the shelter into one of our foster homes? We walked into the shelter to find the entire lobby filled with cat carriers. Each contained one or more small kittens. We were told they had all come from one house. A house where none of the cats were spayed or neutered. It was terribly sad. We then saw Mocha and noticed that she had been in a small cage at the shelter since last October. Why? Because she is an adult cat. Mocha is about 2 years old and with such fierce competition from all those little kittens, she just did not stand a chance of getting a home. That would be a shame because with being a little older, we already know what Mocha's personality has developed into. She is a very sweet and affectionate cat. She immediately came to the cage bars and started to rub and purr, inviting our attention. Even after a harrowing day of being spayed and then taken to a strange foster home, she still remained her friendly self.
