Although she taught school in Cane Garden Bay for only a few years in her early twenties, even as adults, more than a handful of her former students still remember "Teacher Cheddie". She is patient, resourceful, generous, and remains unselfishly devoted to the well-being of her children, grandchildren, and (up to now), her single great grandchild. She is a prayer warrier for her family, and her spiritual strength gives us much faith--because she truly believes in a God who she is quick to remind us, "never fails" and "never leaves us".
