Inter Theatre Transfer Consecutive Overseas Tour (ITTCOT)

Purpose

  1. Allows a soldier to serve a consecutive overseas tour at a different location within Germany.
  2. If the soldier is requesting to move BEFORE their scheduled DEROS then the soldier must obtain a letter of acceptance from the gaining unit and a letter of release from the losing unit.
  3. If the soldier is doing this on or after their scheduled DEROS it is considered a regular PCS and is treated similar as such.
  4. Since this is one type of consecutive overseas tour, the soldier will be entitle to 15 days non-chargeable leave and round trip tickets to the USA or 30 days non-changeable leave. This is taken in place of PCS leave. This leave must be taken within one year of the soldiers DEROS. It may be postponed by the command if deemed necessary by military necessity.

  2. DA 5862 - if EFMP is warranted.
  3. Reassignment ITT/COT Datasheet.
  4. Letter of acceptance/release if needed.
