This campaign is a part of Bubblegum Crossfire, the alternate setting for BGC created by R. Talsorian Games for the Bubblegum Crisis RPG. Bubblegum Crossroads begins during the rebuilding period following Largo’s destruction of the various Genom towers worldwide, in Chicago, early 2033. 

    In early 2033, a battle took place between the Knight Sabers and Largo, the insane SuperBoomer "messiah," atop Genom Tower Tokyo.  Just prior to this battle, the SuperBoomer set off orbital missile defense lasers worldwide, destroying the Genom Towers in Berlin, Sydney and Chicago.  It's six weeks after this battle (Bubblegum Crisis 6: Red Eyes), and the recovery has begun.  Genom has begun the reconstruction of its Chicago tower, and its transformation of the Chicago community is progressing apace under the efficient (read: "brutal") guidance of Senior V.P. Kevin Sharpe, a ruthless opportunist whom it is rumored had a rival scientist, Dr. Alicia Fairchild, murdered four years ago to gain access to her research.

    However, this V.P. forgot the cardinal rule of all Evil Overlords: NEVER leave a murder victim's young daughter alive.  Sandra Fairchild, the only daughter of Dr. Fairchild, is the guiding spirit behind the Knights of the Fall, a vigilante group earning much repute in Chicago.  Now the war begins anew in the Windy City, with new faces and new guns, but always the same quest to make one overly ambitious mega-corporation pay for the crimes it's committed in its rise to power. . .
