Here are the recipes I have on this page.

Sugar Dipped Raisin Cookies

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 cup water
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Boil raisins in water until
the moisture is taken up.
Cool and add to the
other ingredients. Make a ball
and dip into sugar and flatten.
Bake at 350 degrees



Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream:
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 white sugar
1 1/2 cup shotening(or margerine)
Add:
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3 cups flour
1 tsp.vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Drop and bake.
Semi-chewy.
Makes large recipe.
Bake at 325 degrees


Soft Mollasses Cookies


Beat:
1/2 cup butter or margerine
1/2 cup mollasses
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar2 tsp. soda(dissolved in) 2 tsp.hot water
Add:
2 1/2 cups flour(sifted)
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
Alternately with;
1/4 cup cold water
Add:
1/2 cup rasins
Combine and mix well before blending
in rasiins. Drop by
teaspoon on a greased cookie
sheet.Bake at 375 degrees
for about 8 to 10 minutes
Frost with powder sugar frosting,
if desired.
