Junior State of America Debate Club
Black Student Union

The Black History Month Assembly is in February. Come help us plan this annual event.

The Black Student Union meets every Wednesday at lunch in room 316.

Calendar of Events: BBQ, Camping, Kwanzaa Celebration, Thanksgiving Celebration Potluck, Black History Month Assembly, and the AA Senior Luncheon.

See our constitution below. We hope you join!

What is JSA?
Since 1934, high school students from across the nation have banded together with the common goals of improving their education, promoting democracy, and learning about government through participation. The Junior State of America brings together students who are interested in current events, politics, and government to learn more about the complex issues that face our leaders today. JSA is student-run! The student leaders, elected by their peers, determine the focus and goals of the organization.
We meet every Thursday during lunch in room 316.

Calendar of Events: Fall State Convention in Santa Clara, Winter State Convention at the Capitol in Sacramento, and the Spring State Convention in Santa Clara.
