Find a rape crisis center near you
You can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline, operated by RAINN, 24 hours a day at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673), or you can search for your local rape crisis center.  This site provides a search engine to find rape crisis centers in your town.  You just need to type in your zip code.

This is on of the best sites for rape victims.  One of it's functions is to find rape crisis centers near you by state.

The links section supplies the official website of  each state.  The first thing to do is click on the state you live in and then click on the word search and type in rape.  It can help you find resources available to you locally.  Also see the legal section of the online pathfinder resources.

Darfur- You probably haven't heard about it...because it rarely makes the evening news.  Thousands of women and girls...abducted, gang-raped and forced to flee.  They have nowhere to turn...because their government is responsible.

This site is a good source of perspective on a national level.  V-Day's mission is to end violence against women and girls worldwide.
