Poodle
An alert, intelligent dog that is very popular as a pet. There are 3 kinds of poodles which differ only in size. The standard poodle (up to 15+ inches, about 55 pounds), the miniature poodle (up to 10-15 inches, about 16 pounds), and the toy poodle (up to 10 inches, about 7 pounds). In all poodles the ears are set low and hang close to the head. The tail, which is clipped short, is carried straight up. The dense curly coat may be black, white, or a variety of colors. It may be clipped in any of several styles. The poodle probably originated in Germany. The poodle was originally a waterfowl retriever, and its name comes from the German word meaning to splash in water. Poodles can be easily trained and have been popular circus dogs in Europe for centuries.
This poodle site is dedicated to Bali and Spanky(he got lost and we can't find him), my cousin Alice's dogs.
