1704, August 4. - The Queen is very sorry for
the accident which has lately happened by the misbehaviour of a 'Swedish captain' [altered
by Harley to ' the Captain of a Swedish man of war'], and hopes the King of Sweden
will give him the punishment due to his fault, to avoid future inconveniences of this
nature, which cannot fail to happen whenever the due respect is denied to the right of her
Majesty's flag.
