This issue starts off with Howard and Bev on the road to New York, when they run into some trouble. In this issue Steve Gerber parodies Religious Cults, Jane Eyre novels and the Frankenstein Monster. This issue ends with the creation of life in the form of a giant gingerbread man. This also the first continuing storyline in the series.
