The Duck & The Defenders

This is the Howard the Duck Treasury Edition. Treasury Editions were very popular in the mid 70s, they were very large oversized publications, that both Marvel and DC released.

This book contained the original story, the Duck & the defenders, howard and the Defenders(Dr. Strange, Nighthawk, Valkyrie and the Hulk) battle against Sitting Bullseye, Tillie the Hun, The Spanker, Black Hole and Dr. Angst. In this story Howard gains the powers of the Socerer Supreme! This story also has a cameo from Peter Parker.

The rest of the book contains reprint material which inclues Fear 19, GS Man-Thing 4, GS Man-Thing 5 and Howard the Duck 1 .

All in all this is an excellent book, the new story is lots of fun and at the time it was really nice to have the other early appearances in one book.
