chapter 1 - Jade

The graveyard shift... Most people would hate to work from ten at night until seven in the morning. Not Jade. When she and the other ladies opened up the coffee shop she jumped at the night shift. "That's when my kind of people are out and about," she had said.

"Yeah. The freaks," Dove laughed.

Jade rolled her eyes at her friend. "You working with me?"

"Duh... No one else can put up with you for that long."

Shyann, Lady B and Kaliegh laughed. "Dove's right," Kaliegh teased.

"Oh, bite me," she laughed.

Jade was pulled from her thoughts as the bell rang on the door. Her jaw dropped as she looked at the guys that came in. "Hello, hotties," she whispered to Dove.

Dove looked up at the guys. "Who's turn is it to take a customer?"

Jade gave her an evil grin. "Mine."

"Lucky bitch."

She went over to the counter where the five men were looking at the menu. "Welcome to the Mean Bean. What can I get you?"

The tall blonde looked at the four guys behind him, then turned back to her. "Two of the strongest coffees you have, two iced cappuccinos and one espresso."

"For here or to go?"

He smiled down at her. "Here."

She rung it up on the register. "Sixteen-twenty."

He dropped a twenty on the counter. "Keep the change."

"Thanks. Have a seat and I'll bring them to you."

As the guys walked over to a table, she took the change out and dropped it in the tip jug. She walked over to Dove. "Two iced cappuccinos. I'll get the rest."

As they fixed the drinks Dove said, "maybe working the night shift isn't so bad."

"It's deffinately looking up. Literally. Did you see how huge they are?"

"Kinda hard to miss." As they set the drinks on a tray Dove said, "let me know what the shaved long hair drinks."

"You are so weird... I bet it's one of the cappuccinos." Jade carried the tray over and set it on a nearby table. "I'm getting better at this, so let me guess which one goes to who."

"Go right ahead," the tall blonde laughed.

She took the strong coffees off first. She set one in front of the tall blonde and the other in front of the tall pale one hiding behind his sunglasses and bandana. The iced cappuccinos were set in front of the "shaved long hair" and the shorter blonde. The espresso was set in front of the tanned one with blindingly white teeth and a bull tattoo. "How did I do?"

"You got it right."

"If you need anything just give one of us a yell. I'm Jade and my partner in crime over there is Dove."

"Alright. Thank you."

She picked up the tray and took it back to the counter. "I was right. He was an iced cappuccino."

"Go get her number, screw her or something. I'm tired of watching you stare at her," Taker mentally said to Kevin. Rob, Rock and Chris laughed as they received the same message.

He continued to stare at the short red-head. "She thinks we're all hot."

Kevin got out of his chair and walked over to the counter where she sat on a bar stool talking to Dove. "Jade..."

She turned to look at him. "Hey, handsome. Do you need something?"

He gave her his sexy grin. "Your phone number."

She cocked her eyebrow at him. "I don't even know your name. Why should I give you my number?"

He held his hand out to her. "Kevin Nash, and my buddies said you were looking at me just as much as I was looking at you." The guys really didn't tell him. He knew from reading her thoughts.

She smiled as she slid her hand in his. He brought her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles. "A charmer..." When he released her hand she reached over and grabbed a business card out of the holder. "I'm here every night, but I'll put my cell number on the back."

Kevin reached into his back pocket and pulled a piece of paper out. "The guys and a few of our friends are having a rave downtown." He handed her the paper. "That's the info if you want to go."

"Can I bring some friends?"

"The more the merrier, as long as they're women."

She laughed. "They are." She handed him the card. "You'll be there, right?"

"Yeah."

"Then I'll see you there." She heard Dove go "pssst" and rolled her eyes. "Your buddy over there with the long hair shaved off on the sides... What's his name?" She pointed her thumb behind her at Dove.

"Jade!"

"Well, I don't need to know."

Kevin laughed. "His name is Rob Van Dam, RVD for short."

"Hey, what are you talking about over there?" Rob mentally sent to Kevin.

Kevin sighed. "We're going to leave in a few minutes. Promise you'll save me a dance?"

"I won't leave until I get to."

He gave her a sexy grin as he turned to go back to the table. She leaned back to whisper to Dove, "would you look at the ass on him!?"

"Eh.. It's ok." She looked at Rob as he got up, and walked toward the door. "I like the way the shorts hang off of him." Rob turned to look at her, then smiled before walking out.

"Eh... It's nice, but I like Kevin's." She watched as Taker got up and followed the others. "The one in the leathers... He has them all beat."

"Oh, yeah!" she whispered. Taker's head snapped to the side to look over his shoulder at them. He gave them a slight curve of his lips as he walked away.

At six-thirty in the morning, when Lady B and Shyann came in, the girls were still wound up from their handsome customers. "Kool Aid smiles and bug eyes... Have you two been drinking the espresso all night again?" B asked.

"No. We had some good looking guys here that invited me and some friends to a rave. Hint, hint... Night out with good looking guys..."

"Count me in, but I still think you've been hitting the espresso machine."

"Maybe once or twice."

"Well, count me out," Shyann said.

"The hell I will. You're going if I have to drag you. You don't have to drink, or do anything you wouldn't normally do. It's just a chance to dance with some fine ass men. And if you two don't believe me on how hot they are, check the security tape."

"Do you want us to tell Kal and Luna when they come in?" B asked.

"I'll tell them when Dove and I take over. It's Friday night at the old furniture warehouse."

Chapter- 2 - Shyann

Later on that night all the girls decided to all go together in one
car. while getting ready in the chaos that is Jade house.

"Hey Jade you are the only one I know that instead of having pictures
hanging from the wall you have sex toys." Shyann laughed.

"Hey,hey,hey when you get a man you'll want to use those toys one day
watch and see." Jade replied touching one of her many whips on the
wall,

"Hey Ladies lets get ready to go I want to get there early so I can
give my fine piece of meat his dance of seduction." Jade smirked.

While piling up in to Shyann's Esclade pulling out of the drive way.
Shyann looked up at the sky saying a prayer to the heavens to watch
over her and her sisters.

"Ok what is the address to this Rave." Shyann questioned Jade.

"Come to think of it I never looking at the card I just put it in my
pocket." Jade grinned.

That's warranted a look from Dove and a "Ohhh No" from B.

"Well what is it." Kaliegh asked closing her lipstick putting it back
in her purse.

"Ahhh." Jade staled "Well." B replied.

"It's ahhhh 666 DeadWood Blvd." Jade innocently laughed.

"Oh Hell No thats not going to work." Shyann said cutting the car off.

"What fuck are you getting us into girl." Luna shouted sitting in the
back.

"Come on it can't be as bad as that sounds." Dove said taking up for
Jade at the moment.

"Oh Shyann come on loosen up lets party." Jade smiled and turned on
the radio to a music station to listen to calm everyone's nerves.

"Ok,ok I'll go but if anything happens to us,It warrants a ASS
Whoopen Jade I'm not playing." Shyann said pulling the gold cross off
of her mirror and putting it around her neck thinking she might need
this and the protection it will bring.

"Ok Shyann if anything bad happens you get a shot at me." Jade
smirked looking at Shyann bating her eyes.

"I want that opposition to." Luna said cracking her Knuckles grinning.

While on the road the girls listen to the radio. Having fun with each
other as they always do joking,cracking jokes,then the all important
topic SEX.
Just then on the radio a song come on "Jade turn it up." Shyann said.

"Thats my song." Shyann said hearing the first string.

"Ok Shyann we know your an Angel and a soldier for GOD." Kaliegh said
laughing and smiling at her sister.

I wonder what they would say if they really knew the truth that I'm
really an Angel. Shyann thought while rubbing her cross.

"Well we're here it just around the bend." Jade said looking out the
window.

Just as we passed the bend and down the long road we came to a
clearing it was a huge mansion it looked to be more like a castle.

"Wow" Dove said with her mouth open.

Just then the front door flung open and a short round man dressed in
a black suit come walking up to the car on Jade's side. So she rolled
down the window smiling at the short dark hair man.

"Awwww Yesssss you all are here we have been expecting you."

"Uh hi I'm Jade." she said getting out of the car.
Just then a large group of men walked out of the Mansion and stood
there on the porch looking out at the Blue Esclade.
Kevin walked away from the group up to the truck.

"Here come romeo." B laughed.

"Paul why are you bothering our guests." Kevin asked taking Jades
hand.

"Hey sexy,well come in all of you the party has started and I have
friends who would like to meet you all." Kevin replied not even
taking his eye's off of Jade.

All the girls got out of the Esclade started walking up to the door.
And the group of men that was waiting at the door for them.

Chapter 3 - Lady B

They reached the door and some of the guys broke off and came over to the girls. Rock made a bee line for Lady B, while Chris came over to Kal. Batista flexed his muscles as he approached Luna. RVD headed towards Dove while Taker stayed behind and let Kane make his move on Shyann.

"What would you like to drink?" Nash asked Jade as he held her hand and went through the entrance. "How about a shot of JD and a cold brew" she replied.

Rock gave B his dazzling smile as he put his hand on her back and escorted her inside. "Anything special you would like to drink?" he asked as he led her to a makeshift wet bar that was along a wall in the lobby.

One by one, they all entered, the males not escorting any of the girls stayed behind. "What do you think our chances are?" Edge asked Taker. "Not bad, judging from what I have seen so far" Taker replied. "Let’s just see how things go along for the next few days" Taker added. "I kinda like the one that Rock’s with and I’m sure he won’t mind sharing" Edge said with a smile and as his incisors started to extend before he could stop himself. "Now stop that" Taker said with a growl. "That is not what we have in mind for them" he added. "I know that" Edge said as he rubbed his hands together. "I’m going to try to get a dance with her. Hopefully a slow dance" he said as he walked inside.

Once they had their drinks the guys walked them into a room that had been set up as a disco. There were strobe lights, bubble and smoke machines. It just so happened that Rob Zombie had his band show up so all the original couples joined the people already on the dance floor and grooved to the beat of the tune that was being played. As the band played Rob kept on looking over towards RVD and Dove. "Man, what I could do with that lady" he said to himself.

"I need to get some air" B said after she and Rock had danced a few tunes. "Sure" Rock said as they walked outside to the patio. There were several other couples walking around the grounds, holding hands and speaking in low tones.

Kal and Chris were still dancing when Kevin made his move. "Mind if I cut in" he said to Chris. "I knew you wouldn’t" he said as he started dancing in front of Kal, leaving Chris to face his back. Chris left to get a beer, but not before he growled in Kevin’s ear.

Hall and Nash were both dancing with Jade. They had her sandwiched in between the two of them and she was loving it.

Batista and Luna were joined by Christian out on the dance floor. They were having a blast.

Edge came outside and saw Rock and B talking. He came up to them and offered B a beer. Just as she took it they could hear a slow tune came on and he grabbed her hand. "You don’t mind if I dance with her now, do you? He asked Rock as he pulled her in doors so that they could go to the disco room where the music was coming from.

Edge and B entered and went to the dance floor. Edge put B’s arms around his neck as his arms went around her waist. He pulled her towards him as they swayed to the slow tune. Luna was now dancing with Christian. Jade was dancing with Hall. Kal was back to dancing with Chris. Rob had come off the stage and had taken Dove away from RVD.

Shyann was dancing with Kane when Taker decided it was time for him to make his move. He walked over to them and tapped Kane on the shoulder. "My turn" he said as Kane let Shyann go and Taker moved in. "It’s about time you came over to dance with me" she said with a big smile on her face. "Don’t worry little lady, I have many things in store for you" he though, but only smiled at her.

Chapter Four - Kaliegh

"So is everyone having a good time?" Jade asked everyone as all the ladies excused themselves to the ladies room about two hours after they'd been there. Some were freshening their make-up while others used the restrooms.

Lady B looked at Jade, her eyes glazed, not only from the drinks that she'd had, but also with need and longing. "Have I thanked you yet for getting us here?" B asked, a huge smile on her face as she thought about the time that she'd spent with Rock and Edge that evening. She didn't ever want the night to end.

"Yes, thank you Jade." Kaliegh added as she hopped up on the counter and lit a cigarette. She couldn't believe the two men that she'd met that night. Chris and Kevin were absolutely amazing. She was definitely in love...or lust...or something!

Shyann looked at Jade. "What about that Hall and Nash sandwich?" She questioned, eyeing her sister knowingly.

"What about it?" Jade questioned back, her voice light and nonchalant as she flipped her long blond hair over her shoulder. On the inside she was anything but nonchalant. She was positive that she has melted to goo on the inside from feeling Scott and Kevin's hands all over her.

"Well...for starts, how was it?" Luna demanded, although she really did not need to ask. She'd seen the look in Jade's eyes...Hell, she'd seen it in all the lady's eyes as they spent time with the men that they'd hooked up with.It would definitely be a night to remember.

"Well, I'm ready to get back to my Robs." Dove said before anyone else could say anything. She was having the time of her life...better than any she'd had in a really long time. But before she went to the door, she looked Jade in the eye. "Thank you for bringing us here."

Jade smiled, loving hearing all of the praises, but she knew that the credit didn't belong to her. "Don't thank me. Thank the guys."

B nodded as she looked at everyone. "I don't know about you all, but I can think of a few ways I'll thank Edge and Rock." She paused for a moment, grinning like a Cheshire cat. She was about to speak again when Kaliegh stopped her.

"Please!" Kaliegh exclaimed, putting her hands over her ears. "We don't need the details!"

Lady B just flipped her off, sending everyone off into fits of laughter, knowing that B was making the gesture in good natured humor.

"Come on, lets get back out there." Luna suggested, anxious to get back to Christian and Batista. Christian made her laugh and she could watch Batista flex his muscles all night long. Not to mention, they were both incredibly sexy!

Agreeing, all of the girls began filing out the door to where the guys were waiting for them.

Chapter 5 - Luna

It was some hours later when Luna excused herself from her companions. Her nerves were shot, she couldn’t have said why but there was something about this whole thing that was off. She shook her head. “You my dear, need to get out more. Seeing phantoms where none exist.� She chided herself.

She was loath to interrupt any of the others they all looked so happy. Letting out a shaky breath she made her way over to Jade. As much as she hated to do disturb the other woman she hadn’t brought another pack of cigarettes and she desperately needed one now.

Halfway across the room she realized there was no way in hell she was going to get the redhead’s attention without embarrassing herself royally. The trio looked quite cozy and in desperate need of a room. She sighed and turned around. A surprised squeak escaped her as someone caught hold of her arm.

Luna turned quickly, “Damn it Kal,� she snapped placing a hand on her chest. “You scared the hell out of me.�

Kaliegh rolled her eyes. “Please, spare me.� She shot back. “I know a nic fit when I see one.�

“That obvious, huh?� Luna asked sheepishly.

“Only to other smokers.� She assured the other woman as they stepped out into the night.

Kal handed the young woman a cigarette and took one for herself. She lit them, both taking a long drag.

Luna turned and watched the other girls through a cloud of smoke. She smiled at the girls that met her eyes and just watched the others.

Lady B seemed to thrive under the unwavering attention of both Rock and Edge. Shyann beamed at Kane and Taker her pretty face coloring at something one of them had said. Dove’s head was thrown back her musical laughter reaching the pair outside.

Kaliegh snubbed out her cigarette. “Well as much as I needed this it’s time to go back.� She stated walking for the doors. “Coming?� She asked when she realized the other woman wasn’t following.

“I’ll be in after I finish this,� Luna replied holding up the half finished cigarette.

“O-kay.� Kal said as she shrugged her shoulders going back to Chris and Kevin.

The young woman took another drag expelling the smoke gradually. It didn’t make any sense to be standing out here yet she was unable to make her feet move. She was having a good time with two very attractive men. Why did she always have to over analyze the situation? She dropped the cigarette and stepped on it.

Once again she shook her head and turned to stare up at the dimming stars above. “Just send me a sign that I’m not making a mistake.� She whispered.

As if in response Dave stepped out onto the veranda. “Thought you might have gotten lost.� He said a charming smile on his face.

An answering grin spread across her face. “Not any more.� She replied taking his out stretched hand.

The girls continued to laugh, dance, and talk the night away. Unaware of the approaching dawn and what it would mean for them.

chapter 6 - Jade

As the night wore on into the early morning hours, a few of the women began to get tired. As Shyann and Kaliegh walked to the door with their men, B went over to Jade. She had already struck out trying to get Luna and Dove to leave with them. By the look of things, she'd have no luck with Jade either. "Hermana, we need to go. Shyann and I have to make our shift in a few hours."

"Ok. I'll see you later." Not once did she tear her eyes from Kevin's. She leaned back into Scott's arms.

"You're staying, too?"

"I'm sitting between two fine ass men, mi hermana. I'm not going anywhere."

"Kal, Shy and I made plans with the guys tonight, so make sure you three are at the shop for your shifts."

"We will, B. Sweet dreams."

"I'd say the same, but I don't think you'll have any problems with that," Lady B laughed.

With Scott's arms around her middle, and her legs draped over Kevin's, she grinned up at her friend. "I think they will make sure I have sweet dreams."

As Lady B walked away, she turned her attention back to the men. She leaned forward and kissed Kevin.

"Are you reading her thoughts, man?" Kevin sent to Scott.

"Yeah." He moaned as he ran his hand down her spine to her backside. He gave her a playful slap. "She's a freak."

As she ended the kiss she said, "why don't the three of us find someplace more... private. We can have a party by ourselves."

Kevin smiled while Scott kissed her collar bone. "Sounds like a good idea."

"Just let me tell Luna I'm still here." She stood, then kissed them both.

As she walked away, they watched. "You chose a good one for us, man," Scott sent to Kevin.

Jade, never too shy to interrupt anything, walked over to Luna and her men. "Hey, hun. I just wanted you to know I'm still here. Scott, Kev and I are going to find a dark corner."

"Before you go hide, can I have a few smokes?"

She pulled her cigarettes out of her pocket and handed the whole pack to her. "Save me a few, will ya?"

"Thanks. Have fun."

Jade looked at the men. "Oh, I'm sure I will."

The guys stood as she walked back toward them. She took the arms they offered, then let them lead her to a bedroom. Once the door was closed behind them she grabbed Scott by the front of his jeans. As she worked on Scott's jeans Kevin came up behind her and skimmed her shirt upward. She lifted her arms, allowing him to pull it off. They quickly stripped each other, then got on the bed.

She stood on her knees in front of Kevin and Scott came up behind her. They ravaged her body with kisses, nibbles and caresses. As they explored her body, their hunger grew and their fangs lowered. "Do you think it's too soon?" Scott asked Kevin

"Let's not give her a chance to get away," Kevin sent back.

At the same time, they sunk their fangs into her soft neck. She moaned and ran her fingers through their hair. Before long she felt weak. "Guys, I... I don't feel right." She was on the brink of death, and didn't realize it. They helped her stay up until they were done drinking from her.

"How's her pulse?" Kevin asked.

"Weak. She's ready." Scott laid her down on the bed, while Kevin grabbed the chalice out of the nightstand drawer. They cut their wrists and let the blood drip into the cup. "This time, we'll get it right."

Once the cup was filled halfway Kevin held it up to Scott. "Here's to our new eternal bride. May she stay out of the sunlight."

Scott lifted her lifeless form to a sitting position. Kevin brought the cup to her lips, then poured the mixture of their blood down her throat. Once the cup was emptied, they laid her back down, then laid with her.

Half an hour later, her eyes snapped open, their usual blue hue had been changed to yellow. The sensations in her body were frightening. She could feel the blood in her veins. She could hear her friends in the main area of the house. She could hear Kevin talking, but his lips didn't move. "She's awake."

She jumped up, and crawled to the foot of the bed. "What the hell did you two do to me?"

Chapter 8 - Lady B

Lady B felt something was wrong with Jade, but could not leave the store to go find out what it was.

All say long she had this strange feeling that something had happened to Jade, but didn’t know what to make of it.

Once she closed the store, she went home and showered. She changed clothes and went to the mansion to see what was up with the other girls and to see Rock and Edge.

She knocked on the door to the mansion and was ushered inside by their man servant. She did not have long to wait as the sun was just going down as she had arrived, but she had not yet put two and two together.

She knew Jade was still in the mansion because she could feel her presence, but she had to play it off until she could do some snooping and find her. She also felt Lady Shyann's presence in the mansion. She knew that she would have to get out and check around until she found them.

Edge was the first one to enter the sitting room where she was admiring the books in one of the bookcases. Edge came up behind her and put his arms around her as he nuzzled her neck. For some reason she did not have to turn around. She knew he was there before he even put his arms around her. "And how are you today my love", Edge said as he pulled his head back and his razor sharp fans started to distend. ‘Not yet Edge’ he heard in his head as Rock entered. "Not yet for what" she asked as Rock came close. "What babe?" he asked as he looked at Edge and did not say a thing. Edge just shrugged his shoulders. "I thought I heard you say something" B stated as Rock came up in front of her and kissed her softly on the lips.

"I didn’t say anything" Rock said as he pulled his lips away from hers, all the while looking at Edge over her head with a strange look. "Pardon us for a moment" Rock said as he and Edge left the room. She did not try to hear what they were saying, but her hearing was very acute. "What do you mean? She couldn’t have heard what you mentally told me." Edge stated. "You were there. You heard her comment" Rock replied.

B walked to the door and laid her hand against it. She concentrated with all her might and was able to reply "No arguing now guys. I hear you perfectly" she mentally told them as she pulled back from the door a few seconds before it burst open and they both barged in.

"Okay, what is going on here" Edge stated as his eyes flashed red. Rock stood back with his arms across his chest. "I’m not sure, but ever since I was small I have been able to hear what others are saying and have been very fast on my feet" she said as she turned to face Rock. Edge moved closer to her and she turned to Edge. "Don’t do that. It makes me nervous". Rock approached her and she turned to him.

"There is something really different about her" Rock said as he came close and sniffed her.

"Yeah, you idiots. Don’t you recognize a "day walker" when you see one?" Taker said as he slammed the doors open.

Luna’s watched as Kaliegh and Dove were led away from her. She couldn’t explain the rising panic she felt. She just knew that it increased with every beat of her heart. It was illogical and irrational she was aware of that, but try telling that to little voice inside her head screaming for her to run!

She braced herself as the doors slid open to reveal an empty room. Letting out a breath she didn’t know she’d been holding she looked around. She wasn’t sure she whether to be grateful or upset. Laughing nervously she shook her head as she leaned against the window frame.

Looking out at the night sky was usually a calming experience for her. Tonight, however, it offered little comfort. Sighing Luna turned from the scene outside jumping slightly when she noticed Batista in the doorway. He looked as if he’d just woken up his pants were zipped but not fastened and his shirt hung open as if he had thrown on the first thing at hand.

Realizing that she was staring she turned her gaze to the floor. "I’m not interrupting anything, am I?" She asked suddenly shy and a bit uncertain.

"Nothing, nothing at all." He assured her as he crossed the room to her side. He reached out and tilted her head back until their eyes met. "I’m glad you’re here." Dave told her.

Biting her lower lip she searched his gaze looking for any sign of insincerity. Finding none she allowed a small smile to cross her lips. "Really?"

"Really," he whispered before for claiming her lips.

Luna’s arms slowly came up wrapping around Batista’s shoulders. The fingers of one hand tangled in his short-cropped hair. Her body melted against his much larger frame. The passion between them rose with every passing moment and he had to hold himself in check other wise he was liable to turn her now, and screw Christian.

Christian lounged in the doorway watching, wondering when Dave was finally going to acknowledge him or even if he would. He stepped into the room his bare feet making no noise in the room. All the same the blonde saw Batista straighten up his arms tightening around the young woman he held.

Awareness slowly returned to the raven-haired woman her face burning hotly as her eyes landed on Christian. She took a step away from Dave her mind trying to conjure up something to say. She couldn’t claim that it wasn’t what it looked like, because she had in fact been kissing the other man.

She found them both attractive and wanted them both. And damn it! For once in her life she was going to have her cake and eat it too. She could almost hear Jade’s raucous laughter in her head. Well, she would if they would just stop sending death glares at one another.

Luna resisted the urge to roll her hazel eyes at the blatant pissing contest going on. Since it seemed as if they were more interested in proving who had the bigger set she was going home. She hadn’t gone more than a couple of paces when she ran into something, literally.

Startled she took a step back only to hit something else. Her eyes widened when she saw Christian standing in front of her, craning her neck she was shocked to find Dave behind her.

"Going somewhere?" The pair asked in unison.

The young woman swallowed hard there was something in their eyes that spooked her. She couldn’t have said what it was but her heart was hammering so loudly she was sure they could hear it. She turned so that she could look both men in the face. Straightening her spine she squared her shoulders. "Yes, actually I was…away from you two."

"Why?" Dave asked cocking his head to the side.

The sheer lack of emotion in his voice made her take a step back. The duo took a step forward matching her movements. Luna had the uneasy feeling they were predators and she was the prey. She looked from one face to the other trying to figure out what was going on.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her back collided with the wall. Each of them put a hand on either side of her their shoulders nearly touching, blocking off any exit she might try to use.

"I do believe that Dave asked you a question." Christian reminded her as his finger trailed across her collarbone.

Luna’s brow furrowed as she tried to remember exactly what had been asked of her. She couldn’t think with both of them so close, touching her. It was wreaking havoc with her senses. She wanted to tell them to stop and never stop at the same time. Her head turned in Batista’s direction her eyes begging him to help her.

Dave leaned down his breath ghosting over her skin. "Why did you want to leave us?" He purred in her ear.

She licked her lips apprehensively as she looked at one face than another. "Y-you didn’t even know I was here. You were too busy glaring at each other." She stated a petulant note coming to her voice.

This close to them she could see their nostrils flare and their pupils dilate. Christian’s eyes closed his head moving slightly. When he opened his eyes again they glowed with a wholly unnatural light. "We’re always aware of you." He told her taking her into his arms. "Very aware of you."

The pair pressed their bodies into Luna’s softer frame showing her exactly how aware they were of her. A low guttural moan escaped her lips as they placed soft kisses and gentle nips to her neck. There was a sharp stab of pain that floated away as a cloud of pure bliss enveloped her.

Christian and Dave continued to drink from her as her lush body moved between them enticingly. They listened closely to her heartbeat. The sound slowly fading into irregularity and her breathing became ragged and harsh. Simultaneously they tore into their own wrists letting the blood mingle and fall into her waiting mouth.

Luna knew there was something she needed to tell them but the fog that clouded her mind made clear thought impossible. Her body began shutting out any reason. Her heart pounded one final time before falling silent. They laid her on the couch waiting for her to rise again.

Dawn was only a few short hours away when Luna took a shuddering gasping breath. Her eyes wildly looked around the room trying to recall how she’d come to be laying down. Her memories were hazy, failing to make any kind of sense. She sat up slowly her hand instinctively going for her neck. The pulse pounded steadily under her fingertips.

"Heartbeat…so I’m not dead…or am I?" She whispered to the still room getting quickly to her feet. "I’m getting the hell out of here. I knew this was a bad idea!"

The house was eerily silent as she made her way to the front door. With her hand on the doorknob she sent a last searching look around the foyer. She thought momentarily of the other girls and groaned silently. They were in this house somewhere she could feel it in every fiber of her being.

Turning she found herself facing an imposing figure. Searching her scattered mind for a name that never came. She knew that he wasn’t a stranger but his name still eluded her.

"Going somewhere?" He asked in deep gravelly voice.

She swallowed licking her lips nervously. Not even bother to answer the question, as they both know she had been, she stood her ground. "Where are they?" Luna asked.

"Who?" He questioned, both of them aware that he was just stalling.

"You know damn good and well who!" She snapped. "Jade, Dove, Kaliegh, Lady B, and Shyann!" She shouted her voice rising with every name.

The sound of running feet had Luna falling back into a defensive posture that she could never remember using. A bit frightened by this turn of events she dropped her hands. Uncertainly she looked from the door to the man to the stairs and back again. She wondered if she could make it. Without giving herself time to reconsider her actions she bolted for the door.

Before Luna could get the door fully opened, it was slammed shut. A cold hand slid over her cheek. "Now, the blushing bride wouldn't be runnin' from her husbands, would she?"

Luna looked up into the glowing green eyes. She slapped the hand away from her cheek. "Where are my friends?"

"They are perfectly safe in this house with us. But you, if you leave this house, when the sun rises, you will be burnt to a crisp."

"Then they made me... And you guys are..."

Taker grinned at her. "We are the undead, creatures of the night... vampires. All of the guys, you, and your friend, Jade. Only, she doesn't seem to have any problems with it."

Luna looked at him, thoroughly confused. "You're full of shit."

"Am I? Or are there things you didn't know about your friend? All of your friends, for that matter." Luna took a step backward, and Taker took a step forward. "The angel, the "day-walker", the immortal..." Taker reached out and grabbed her wrist. "...the Goth that dreamed of being a vampire. Kevin and Scott made her dream come true. Do you intend to take it away?"

"I don't believe you." She jerked her wrist free of his grasp, only to be grabbed from behind.

Taker looked behind her. "Keep your bride under control. And keep her away from the others."

"Yes, master," Batista said from behind her. Christian grabbed her feet and lifted them off of the ground. She struggled to break free as they carried her to the room.

Kal and B broke free of their men. They bumped into each other in one of the halls. "They're all..." Kal started.

"I know. We have to find the others and get the hell out of here."

"I'll go left, you go right."

They tried every door. Kal found the room Dove was in with RVD and Rob. It appeared to be too late. Her skin was pale, her features sunken, and her body lifeless. "Dove? Damn... Dove, did they..."

"She didn't make it," came a deep voice. The pale creature with long hair and a long beard stepped out of the shadows. Blood streaked through his beard. "It appears Van Dam and I were hungrier than we thought."

"She's... dead?"

"As a door nail." He looked down at her body laying on the bed. "It's a shame, too. I rather liked this one."

Feeling sick from seeing her friend's corpse, Kal left the room, and went further down the hall.

Lady B had found the room that Jade, Hall and Nash were in. "Jade, we have to go."

"I'm not going anywhere."

"You don't understand, mi hermana. They're..."

"Vampires. I know." Her hair hung loose, covering most of her face. "I choose to stay with them."

B went in the room and grabbed her by the shoulders. "This is not one of your sick fantasies about drinking your man's blood."

"I know that, B. I know full well what they are, what they do..."

B tried to smack some sense into her. "They intend to make you their eternal bride! Dead! No more daylight!"

Jade raised her head, letting her hair fall back, and hissed at the woman, baring her fangs. Then, she gave her friend a sheepish grin. "They have already bitten me, and fed me their blood. I am theirs, and they are mine."

B stared at her, shocked. "What the hell has gotten into you, Jade?" she barely whispered.

"A rebirth... A new life as the undead... And two gorgeous men to spend my eternity with."

"You've gone mad, chica."

Jade wrapped her arms around B's shoulders. Lady B struggled at first. "I'm not loca, mi hermana," Jade whispered. "Find the others, and get them far away from here. You ladies are mi familia. We've already lost one member tonight. I don't want to lose anymore."

When Jade pulled away, B saw the tears in her eyes. "Who?"

"Dove is dead, and Luna has turned. Find the others. I will come to you when I can."

"Jade, it's almost dawn. We have to hide."

"I'll be there in a moment, Scott." He went back into the hidden room. She turned back to B. "I want to be with them. I have an idea, but I can't tell you here."

B was completely confused by now, but had learned to have faith in her crazy ideas. "Alright. The shop, tonight."

She gave her a swift nod. "I'll bring Luna if I can."

Chapter 13 - Lady B

B cracked the door open and didn’t see anyone. She stepped out of Jade’s room and hugged the wall as she walked down the hallway. She spotted Kal slipping out one of the downstairs windows. Kal had just made it over the outside gate when B heard footsteps coming down the hallway in her direction. There was nowhere for her to go as the guys approached.

"Where did she go" Rock said as he sniffed the air. "She’s close by, I can sense her" Edge said with fans exposed as he too sniffed the air. They split up. One went down the hallway one way and the other one the other way.

If they had looked up they would have seen B perched up on the ceiling. She silently dropped to the hallway floor, stepped on the banister and landed downstairs without making a noise. She slipped out the same window that Kal had exited from.

B made it home about 10 minutes before Kal, as she was much faster. When Kal entered, B pulled her over and they sat down.

"What are we going to do?" Kal asked. Two sisters have been turned into vampires, one is imprisoned at that mansion and one is dead.

"I know" B said as she paced the floor. I have to go back and find them. B said as she turned to face Kal.

"I’ll go with you" Kal said. "I’m immortal, so they can’t kill me" she added.

"I know. I’ve known that for a long time. I’m not sure if you know this or not, but Shyann is also not mortal. She is an angel." B added

"How do you know" Kal asked as she stood in front of B.

"Because of this" B said as her fangs started to come down. "I have known about the ladies here for the longest time, that is why I came and joined them. I am a nightwalker."

"Do you have to drink blood too?" Kal asked.

"No. I crave it, but I don’t need it" B said. "What has happened here was meant to happen. For some reason we were all brought together and we have to stick together. We cannot let anymore of the group die."

"Does that mean that you are stronger than all the vampires there in the mansion" Kal asked.

"I am. Except for one. The leader may or may not be stronger than me. It all depends how long he’s been around and whether he was made or born a vampire" B said.

"Do you know who he is?" Kal asked.

"I have an idea of who it is, and it is not who you think. The leader is playing it off and letting the other pretend he is the leader. I will let you know for sure who he is once we face him again. For now, we must prepare and then we will go back to the mansion this afternoon. We can't afford to wait for Jade and Luna to try to come to us. By then it may be too late for them." B said.

"What do you mean by prepare" Kal asked.

"Do you have your kitana?" B asked.

"Always" Kal said as it appeared in her hand as if out of nowhere.

"Okay. We will just put some of this on it and I’ll get my gear" B said as she handed Kal a flask with a mixture in it. B pushed a button on her closet door and a secret room opened up. Inside was everything she would need.

The door slowly creaked open a small shaft of light falling on the chained young woman. Heavy iron shackles were looped through a ring in the floor. The dark haired girl didn’t even lift her head. Her cream-colored camisole top was torn and bloody. Her kneeling body was hunched as if expecting another blow to fall.

"I won’t do it." Luna said hoarsely. Her voice roughened, throat a bit raw.

"Why do you insist on being so damn stubborn?" Christian asked infuriated.

Jerking her head up she stared at him her eyes glowing in the dim light. "Because you didn’t give me a choice." She ground out.

"Would it really have changed a thing?" Batista questioned stepping into the small chamber.

Her hazel gaze shifted to him. "I guess we’ll never know now will we?" She shot back.

"Nice safe careful answer. But it does answer the question."

"Yes, yes it does." Christian said moving toward the bound woman.

Shifting her position she looked warily from one to the other. "And what, pray tell, did it tell you?"

"That even if we had asked you, you still would have said no." Dave said flatly.

"And we’d be right where we are now." Christian finished for him.

The two men moved in closer setting Luna’s nerves on edge. It was reminiscent of the previous evening. The only difference being now she could feel the power humming around her. She swallowed thickly as Batista crouched down in front of her. The forced pounding of his heart sounded obscenely loud to her ears.

Closing her eyes did no good. It only made the situation worse as he leaned in close. She could smell the blood just under the surface of his skin. It made her mouth water and drew a ragged needy whimper from her throat. Unconsciously she leaned into him her lips pressed to the throbbing vein in his neck.

She felt Christian like a line of heat at her back. His hands stroked her shoulders and arms. Her back was pressed firmly into his chest. The stubble on his chin scrapped deliciously against her neck. "You know that you want it. It’s so close, flowing under the skin. Can’t you smell it?" He whispered seductively.

Unable to help herself with both of them so close she parted her lips. Her canines elongated her mouth salivating with the thought of that sweet elixir that flowed just out of reach. She drew back and struck quickly. Luna swallowed swiftly completely intoxicated by heady flavor erupting on her tongue.

Slowly she pulled back staring at him she licked the last traces of blood from her lips. The small satisfied smile on his face should have sent warning bells off in her head. However, she was buzzing from the potent nectar that flowed from Batista and totally oblivious to anything else.

It was merely the calm before the storm.

Luna leaned back against Christian her head resting on his shoulder as he hands stroked over her body. He kissed the pulse point in her neck. "This is only the beginning." He promised enticingly.

That snapped the young woman out of whatever haze she had been floating in. Her whole body became rigid in his embrace. Craning her neck she stared at him. "What do you mean?" She asked incredulously.

"Think of the power you now hold." Christian replied soothingly. He hadn’t missed the reaction to his earlier words. However, he was rapidly running out of patience with her. They were all very aware of how much she wanted them and her seemingly constant theatrics were quickly beginning to grate on his nerves. The sooner she accepted this lifestyle, and in turn them, the better it was for everyone.

Luna scrambled out from between the two men her eyes blazing with fury. "I told you before and I’m telling you again…it’s not going to happen!" She screamed.

"Maybe I can help." A feminine voice said from the doorway.

"Jade!" Luna cried jumping up only to be halted as the chains bit into her wrists.

The redhead totally ignored the other woman her gaze focused solely on the men. Her body was relaxed leaning on the doorframe as she waited for them to answer. It was vital to her plan that she got them both out. She hoped that her face didn’t give away just how much she needed them to agree.

Dave gave her a long speculative look. Whatever he found there he must have liked because he slowly nodded his head.

"You can’t be serious!" Christian exclaimed.

"I can and I am." He responded. "We’ve tried everything we know, now let’s see if she can’t help." Batista explained.

Christian’s face twisted in rage. He stormed around the room growling and muttering unintelligible words. Finally with a last lingering look at Luna he started for the door. "Do what you want. I’m going for a nice long hunt." He snapped as he stalked out of the room.

"What do you need?" Dave asked Jade.

The young woman looked over at her friend critically. She couldn’t take her out of the house looking like that. There would be too many questions that they couldn’t answer. Turning to Batista she said, "A change of clothes would be nice. And," she stressed when it looked like he was going to protest. "Out of those, for now. I just want to take her for a walk. Maybe something I say will get through her thick skull." Jade said with a smirk.

"Hey!" Luna shouted.

Both of them ignored her.

Dave stood taking the small key from the pocket of his dark jeans. As he moved toward Luna she took a step back. His eyes met hers their gazes crackling with the strength of their emotions. A soft sigh escaped her lips as her whole body relaxed. He unlocked the cuffs on her wrists. A part of him was saddened by the marks on her pale flesh. Combing his fingers through her dark tresses he cupped her cheek. She leaned into that touch savoring the feel of his skin against hers. Without another word he walked from the room.

"I guess I should say thank you." Luna said softly watching Batista’s retreating form.

"Yeah you should." Jade snapped. "But we both know you wouldn’t mean it so don’t bother."

The raven-haired woman’s gaze shot to the redhead. Luna was saved from having to comment on the other woman’s strange behavior by Dave’s reappearance. He threw the clothing to Luna who caught it reflexively. "That should do for now." He stated.

"Works for me." Jade told him. She wished he’d hurry up and leave. The sooner he was gone the sooner they could be as well. It was nerve wracking to have to constantly be on her guard.

"I want her back before sunrise." Batista informed the redhead.

She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "Not going to be an issue." She assured him. The young woman breathed a little sigh of relief as he disappeared from sight. "Would you hurry up already!" She barked.

"Keep your pants on. I’m doing the best I can." Luna shot back.

"What’s the hold up?" Jade asked.

"I can’t figure this damn thing out." She said tossing the leather vest to the other woman.

Jade took one look at the top and this time she did roll her eyes. "You are such a blonde."

"Why now?" Luna questioned on a sigh.

The redhead pulled down a hidden zipper on the back a smirk pulling at the corner of her mouth.

"Go ahead yuck it up!" She said snatching the garment back and slipping it on. Turning she allowed the other woman to zip it up. Hazel eyes widened slightly. "Geez, breathing might be an issue." She gasped.

"C’mon. I want to get out of here." Jade said.

"I’m right behind you, but don’t think you’re going to change my mind." Luna informed the redhead.

"Hear me out first then make up your own mind, okay?"

"Okay." The dark haired girl agreed reluctantly.

chapter 15 - Jade

Scott and Kevin met with the two women outside the gates to the house. "What are they doing coming with us?"

"Well, unlike you, I chose very intelligent men." Luna rolled her eyes at Jade. "They helped me come up with a plan."

When they made it to the shop, the first thing they noticed was Kal and B armed and ready to battle the vampires. "Are we going on a war path?" Kevin asked with a grin.

The women took a defensive position. "Jade, what the hell are they doing here?"

"Calm down, B. They are going to help us."

"Why?"

"I'd like to watch the sun rise without having to wear SPF three-million," Kevin said.

Scott laid his hand on Jade's cheek. "Big Kev and I didn't like the fear in our bride's eyes when we told her what we did. We want to be normal mortal humans again."

"Is that really possible for you guys?" B asked. "I know it is for them, because they haven't fed yet."

"If our leader is killed, the rest of us return to normal," Kevin said.

"Undertaker," Kal muttered.

"No. Not the Undertaker. He is a false front to protect the leader."

"Then, who is it?" Kal asked.

"The other demon in our bunch, Zombie."

B looked at Kevin, confused. "He couldn't control his hunger enough to create a bride, and you're telling me he's the leader?"

Kevin's tone was somber as he said, "he never planned to make Dove his bride. It's a game he and RVD play together."

Jade looked up at him. "Are they..."

"Yes." Kevin shuddered. "It's vampires like those two that make humans think we all have homosexual tendencies."

"Now, this plan you guys have, it's probably the same as mine and Kal's," B said.

"You'll still be attacking by day," Scott said, reading her mind. "We can help you by drawing a layout of where everyone is."

"I don't know what you ladies have planned for getting Shyann out, but you had better plan on Taker and/or Kane gaurding her at all times," Luna said.

"We'll do it in order," B said. "First, we get Zombie, and RVD if we have to. Then we'll worry about Shyann. This way, Taker and Kane will be weaker. Have any of you seen her since we went back to the house?"

"No, but we know that Taker and Kane have been abusing her," Jade said.

Luna grinned. "And, apparently, they don't like the Father's name," she said as she pointed upward.

Kal looked as if she were thinking. "What is it, sis?" B asked.

"If we kill Rob, Chris and Kevin won't be immortal anymore."

B looked down. "Neither would Rock and Edge."

Jade knocked on the counter to get B's attention. "Hello, day-walker... This should be an easy problem for you to fix."

"Do you realize how long it's been since I've had human blood, mi hermana? That's one track record I don't want to break."

"Think of it this way, either you can kill Rob, and turn you and Kal's guys, so you won't go through immortality alone. Or, you can let Rob live, and let their feeding frenzy continue, leaving Scott and Kevin here dreaming of the chance they had to be human again."

"Why can't they..." Kal began.

Scott interrupted her, and answered her unfinished question. "We can not kill the one who turned us. He has some kind of force over us that won't allow us to."

"And, even if we could, your guys would still be mortal again," Kevin added.

B laid her hand over Kal's. "We'll worry about them once everyone is safe, and Rob is dead."

Chapter 16 – Lady B

B turned to face the window with her head down. Her hair covered her face like a curtain. She slowly raised her head and in a perfect imitation of Taker, snapped her head back, removing her hair out of her face.

"Mi hermanas, I will help you defeat Zombie, but I can’t, and won’t, turn anyone. I am not going to doom anyone to the fate I have had to endure."

B turned to face Kal. "Mi hermana, I hope you understand where I am coming from. I could never do that to anyone". Kal looked up at B from her perch on the bed. "I understand, mi hermana. If I was in your place, I don’t think I could do it either".

As they spoke they could see in the horizon the first signs of light. "You guys better go. We will meet you at the mansion later. We don’t want to make anyone suspicious" Kal said to Kevin, Scott, Jade and Luna.

"We will meet you at the mansion in an hour. Look for us upstairs where the windows are painted over." Jade said as she grabbed Kevin and Scott by the hands and they walked out the door.

"Luna, go with them. Hurry, before it gets any lighter" B said as she pushed Luna out the door. They moved lightening fast. So fast, that Kal could not keep up with them. B was able to see them as they ran out the door and took to the sky.

Once the four of them arrived at the Mansion Kevin grabbed Jade’s hand. Scott grabbed onto Luna to help her to her room. "We must rest now. We have a lot of work ahead of us in a few hours" Kevin said. "Make sure she gets to her room okay, then meet us back at the room" he added as he and Jade walked silently to the room.

"Come on, little one" Scott told Luna mentally as he escorted her to her room. As he opened the door, Christian and Batista descended from their perch on the ceiling rafters. "I thought you were not going to come back" Christian said to her as he got into her face.

"Little man, you better back up before I teach you to respect your elders" Scott said to Christian.

"Just because you were made before me, doesn’t mean that I am scared of you" Christian shot back. "You better be scared Little Man, as I am the one who can take you out" Scott said over his shoulder as he walked out the room. "Boy, she wound up with two nut jobs", he muttered.

A few hours later, B and Kal approached the Mansion. It was going on noon and the sun was high in the sky. "Are you ready for this?" Kal asked B.

"I won’t let you down" B replied as she jumped over the fence.

Kal jumped over the fence also and they approached the mansion. As if by magic the doors to the front opened, but no one was there.

"I guess we are being expected" Kal said.

"To do what?" B replied

Kal looked at B with a smirk on her face. "You just made a joke" she said. "Damn, I guess I did" B replied with a slight smile on her face.

"Let’s go do what has to be done" B said as she sensed that Kevin, Jade, Scott and Luna were close by. She could also feel the presence of Lady Shyann. What shocked her the most was that there were a few more presences that she could make out, but they didn’t seem to be bad presences. As a matter of fact, they were leading her deeper into the Mansion as if showing her the way to where she had to go.

"Let’s do this" Kal said as she entered behind B with her kitana in hand.

Luna’s eyes snapped open something was wrong. She wasn’t sure what it was but it had awakened her from a deep sleep. Then it dawned on her and she could have slapped herself. Her job was to create as much of a disturbance as she could. She needed to draw the attention to herself to give Kaliegh and Lady B enough time to slip inside the house unnoticed.

Power surged around her drawing an unwanted gasp from her throat and bowed her spine. Her fingers scrambled on the bedding seeking purchase. Dave was suddenly looming in her field of vision his lips moving but the sound drown out by the screaming in her head.

She had a sudden image of him covered in blood his chocolate brown eyes staring sightlessly ahead. Slowly she turned her head her eyes finding Christian. She didn’t see the concern swimming in those cerulean depths, all she could see was the trickle of blood leaking from the corner of his mouth his body twisted and broken.

Blind panic seized her pulling her from the comfort of their bed and sent her sprinting from the room. She stopped in one of the many rooms in the house. Her eyes darting around trying to find something, anything, to ease the tension she felt rising around her. Invisible fingers curled around her heart clenching unmercifully.

Screams erupted from her throat. Long continuous wails reverberated off the walls making the noise that much more ominous. She could feel others coming but it didn’t matter now. All that mattered was ending the agony she felt burning inside her.

Distantly she heard, "What’s wrong with her?"

"How the hell did she get past you two?"

"How do we shut her up?"

A quiet reassuring voice floated through her head. "Don’t fight it. That will only make it worse."

Tears fell from her eyes as she struggled to understand the meaning behind those soft words. Her fingers clenched around the collar of someone’s shirt. She stared blindly into his eyes. "This tastes of light and ashes," she said in a childlike murmur. A single finger pressed against his lips. "They whisper such a pretty song. And what was wrong will be made right."

Her vision cleared enough to see long blonde hair framing a ruggedly handsome face, but he wasn’t hers. She reached a hand out to Dave and Christian who were being held by Kane and Rock.

"They’re not going to save you." Jericho snarled as he took a step toward her.

The fear faded away as she realized she had done what she was asked of her. Most of the others were out here trying to figure out what to do about her. She had given the others the opening that they needed to get inside.

Luna let go of Edge’s shirt and scrambled away from them both. Her voice high and hysterical, "I don’t wanna die!" She screamed. "Please don’t go out there," her eyes on Batista and Christian. "I can’t lose you…not now. Please don’t leave me!" She begged tears flowing down her cheeks.

That seemed to throw them all for a loop. It was as if they didn’t know what to make of her word or that they knew all too well what her words meant. The sounds of a commotion finally filtered down to where they stood in a sort of numbed shock. They all turned hostile eyes on her.

"What’s going on?" They demanded advancing angrily on her.

She steeled herself for the coming fight well aware that she didn’t have their strength. It was going to turn into an ass whipping of major proportions. "You know damn good and well what’s going on. None of you are stupid so don’t pretend to be."

A sharp pain lanced through her body throwing her head back on her shoulders. "Go!" She shouted knowing that their girls needed them. Something had gone horribly painful wrong. It was as if the very air around her quivered with their need. Her eyes flashed fire. "Go now!" She yelled at the top of her lungs trying to impart the urgency she felt.

They didn’t need to be told twice as they raced from the room. Batista and Christian staying behind to make sure that their girl was going to be all right. They shared a glance that spoke volumes. Neither of them said a word as one they closed and locked the doors waiting out the storm of violence happening under their noses.

chapter 18- Jade

Her eyes snapped open when she felt their presence entering the house. Instead of looking up and seeing Scott and Kevin hanging above her, she saw the bare ceiling. She sat up and looked around. The room was bathed in candle light. She was alone, except for a shrouded black figure. "Hello?" The figure turned, but she still couldn't see his face. "Good. You're awake."

As he walked to the side of the bed, he pulled back the hood on his robe with one hand, while the other held a golden chalice. He sat down beside her, then sniffed the contents of the goblet. "What is in there, Rob?" "Breakfast. Would you like a taste?" Jade leaned over to look inside the cup. "I'm not hungry." As the scent of the warm, thick life fluid reached her nostrils, her stomach growled. "Your stomach says you are." "I won't drink it."

He laid his free hand on her cheek. "Why are you fighting it? This is what you wanted, isn't it? You wanted to meet a vampire, fall in love and live in blood-lust until someone puts a stake through your heart." "I don't anymore." "And why not? You could live here and be my children's bride. I know you love them both. The human world would not understand such a relationship."

Seemingly out of nowhere, Kevin and Scott appeared on either side of her. She stared into Rob's cold eyes as they ran their hands over her body and kissed her neck. "Remain a vampire and stay with us," Kevin whispered. "Let us feed your every hunger," Scott whispered. Her eyes turned to narrow slits as she hissed at Rob. "These are not my men."

The room spun, and she felt as if she were being pulled from the dream. "Jade, wake up, baby," she heard Kevin say. Her eyes fluttered open, and she saw Scott's worried eyes. She reached up, and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Scott, please tell me it's the real you." "I'm real, mi amora." His arms went around her. "What happened?" Kevin asked. "Rob... He's fucking with my head."

"Baby, your friends are here," Kevin sent mentally. She dropped her arms to Scott's waist. "It's show time. Can you guys tell where Shyann is?" "It feels like she is in the brothers' room, but she's not." "Maybe a hidden room?" "Anything's possible." "Where is Rob?" "Zombie and Van Dam are in their room." "And the others?" Kevin and Scott both jumped from the bed, and hurriedly slipped into their jeans. "Batista and Christian are with Luna. Taker is in his room. The others are closing in on Kal and B. They see them as a threat. Cross your fingers that we get there in time."

Downstairs, Kal and B searched the dark corridors for any sign of life. "Do you feel it?" Kal asked. "Something's wrong." B looked all around, even up into the rafters, but saw nothing. Then, ten red eyes lit up the hallway from the floor. "Somehow, I don't think those are rats," B said.

Chapter 19 – Lady B

The vampire drones came at Kal and B from all directions.  They moved so fast that Kal didn’t stand a chance.  Kal was able to kill a few with her kitana but she was outnumbered.  B came to her rescue and with a flick of her sword was able to cut two of them in half. 

“You better leave if you want to survive this” B said to Kal as she pushed her over the second floor railing.  Kal landed on her feet and took off to enter through another window in another section of the mansion. 

B fought them off until there was only one left.  It stood up but was hunched over as it hissed at B.  It took off and entered the room where Lady Shyann was.  Taker and Kane were not in the room, but Lady Shyann was still chained to the floor in a sitting position with her head thrown forward.  The drone approached her and started to sniff at her.  Lady Shyann opened her eyes and lifted her head to look at the drone’s red eyes. 

When Lady Shyann looked at the drone, it hissed and sunk its teeth into Lady Shyann’s neck.  Lady Shyann cried out and looked up towards the heavens as her eyes rolled up into her head.

B opened the door to Lady Shyann’s room and saw the drone drinking with its teeth still sunk into her neck.  When it heard B open the door, it turned its head, ripping a chunk out of Lady Shyann’s neck making the arterial blood pulse out.  Lady Shyann’s mouth was moving, but nothing was heard as she started to slumped to the floor. 

B took a swing at the drone with her sword and cut it in half.  It fizzed in a flash of fire and disappeared to become ash on the floor. 

B went over to Lady Shyann and looked down at her.  She appeared to be changing. Her eyes opened up and they were bright red.  B stepped back from Lady Shyann as she strained against the chains as she stood up.  Lady Shyann broke them the chains easily.

Lady Shyann stood up and stretched as she hissed at B. Her arms were extended outward to the sides as her wings came out of her back and spread out behind her.  Something between a moan and a hiss escaped from her mouth as she stretched her arms wider and her wings flapped.

“Lord, guess she’s going to meet her maker, cause she sure as hell ain’t staying down here with us” B said as she swung her sword backhanded and cut Lady Shyann in half. 

“Sorry Sis” B said to the ashy remains on the floor as she turned her back and walked out the door to try to find Jade and Luna.

Taker and Kane felt Lady Shyann dying as the drone drank her blood, but could do nothing about it.  They were seated in front of Zombie who was asking them questions. 

“What exactly is going on with the females” he asked Taker.

Taker felt Lady Shyann die as B cut her in half and you could visibly see Kane flinch.

“What do you mean?” Taker asked in return, trying to distract Zombie from what they knew was going on in the house.

Zombie rose from his seat where he had been slumped and walked around his throne in circles.

“You know what I mean Taker.  Something is going on here and I intend to find out what it is” he said as the door to the room burst open and in walked Luna, Jade, Kevin, Scott, Christian, Batista, Rock and Edge.

Taker and Kane moved over to the door where the group was and turned to face Zombie.

“RVD, where are you” Zombie screeched.

“He won’t be coming” Kal said from the hallway as she made her way into the room. 

“I think he lost his head” Kal said as she threw RVD’s head into the room and it landed at Zombie’s feet.

“Nooooooo . . .” Zombie cried as he knelt down and went to go for RVD’s head. 

RVD’s eyes opened reflexively and the mouth gapped open as if to hiss before it evaporated into a puff of smoke and all that was left was ashes.

“How’d she do that?” Luna asked.  “A delayed reaction to the potion B had me put on my kitana” Kal answered.

”You fools think you can beat me?” Zombie asked as he stood up with eyes blazing.

“No we can’t, but we have someone who can” Kane answered as they parted like the red sea and at the end stood B.

“That little measly woman is going to beat me?” Zombie stated, laughing as he placed his hands on his hips.  “Let her try” he said throwing his head back in laughter.

Chapter Twenty – Luna

The look in B’s eyes would have killed had Zombie not been too busy doubting the young woman’s abilities. She rolled her head to the side. The sound of her neck popping was obscenely loud in the room. She hated it when people took one look at her and decided what she was and wasn’t capable of.

Her shoulder lifted and lowered negligently. He couldn’t kill her unless she was willing to lay down and die. Many had tried and failed he would be the newest name on a never-ending list. Casually she dragged the tip of her sword across the stone floor. Rolling her eyes up she noticed that she now had his attention.

"Drawing a line in the sand." Zombie scoffed.

The corner of her mouth twitched. "Somebody has to. You cannot be allowed to walk this plane any longer."

"You seriously believe that you can take me?" He asked dubiously.

"Who’s to say? But I do know that I cannot walk away, not from this." She responded.

Power burst through the room in a throat closing rush. His foul energy searched for a weakness, a breach in her armor that he could exploit. Finding none readily apparent he turned away with a snarl. Unwilling to admit that he had underestimated the young woman he lashed out at her again.

"Are you done yet?" She questioned impatiently.

In a move that was too fast for the eye to track Zombie struck. To the surprise of the people present there in front of them were Lady B and Rob blades locked together. "Guess that’s a no." She said shoving him back a couple of steps.

"Enjoy this while it lasts. You’re not going to be around much longer day walker." He hissed.

The pair circled one another looking for the opening that they needed. They moved in first one direction then the other their eyes never leaving their opponent. Moving swiftly Zombie began another assault. Soon the sound of metal clashing against metal echoed in the room.

It seemed that the pair were evenly matched, every thrust countered, each fatal blow blocked. They looked much like dancers as they exchanged blows. The duo participated in the deadliest dance of all, the killing dance. The fight was beginning to take its toll on B she knew that the group’s sole hope rested in her.

She was tiring; Zombie could see it in her eyes. His face broke out in a malicious grin. He could already taste this sweet victory. And when this was over he would punish each of them for their treachery. Visions of blood and the sound of pain-filled screams filled his thoughts.

He should have known better. He was far older than anyone could guess. He, more than any other, should have remembered that you do not celebrate before the battle had been won. However, he was too sure of himself and his triumph for any of that to penetrate.

Lady B’s cry filled the room startling her rival back to the present. She was able to batter down his defenses while his mind had been otherwise occupied. By the time she sank the blade into his unbeating black heart it was already too late. She wrenched the sword free stumbling back a couple of steps.

Chris and Kevin were there to catch her before she fell. They held her close as all of them waited to see something, anything, happen.

A small trickle of blood oozed from the corner of his mouth his eyes roving over the assembled group. He let loose a grating laugh. "That was not enough to kill me day walker." He rasped out.

"No, but maybe this is." Kaliegh said as her kitana severed his head from his shoulders.

It bounced to the floor beside the body. The eyes blinked a couple of time his face locked into a mask of surprise. Slowly the body slumped to the side. It was a macabre picture with the arm seemingly cradling the missing head. The ground began to shiver as light began pouring from the body reaching out to those in the room.

Screams of pain erupted around the house bouncing off the walls magnifying the sound to a deafening level. The others watched in fascinated horror as Zombie’s body turned to ash as if burned by some invisible flame. The glow in the room became blinding. They had to turn their faces it was so intense. Finally the light dimmed letting them see that nothing remained of the man who had been there only minutes before. Only a charred outline on the ground testified to the fact that something had happened at all.

Chapter Twenty One - Kaliegh

Chapter 22 - Jade

Kal walked back into the house with her head hung. She walked over to Lady B. "Hey, B, I'm taking off." "Where are you going?" "I... I don't know yet. I can't stick around with Chris and Kevin." Understanding what the problem was, B rubbed Kal's upper arm sympathetically. "We all need to get out of this house. Why don't you atleast come back to the coffee house, and have a cup with us before you go." Reluctantly, she agreed.

They slowly filed out of the house. As they did, a large hand clamped onto Jade's shoulder. She turned to look into the palest green eyes she had ever seen. "You made mention of my ass that night at the coffee shop..." She felt the heat creep into her cheeks as she smiled up at Undertaker. "Yeah, I did. Why don't you and Kane come with us?" "Thanks for the offer, darlin', but my brother and I rather enjoy the darkness. It'll take us a while to want to go out in the daylight." She nodded, understanding the lust for the darkness. "Stop by to see me some night, will you? I'll buy you guys a cup." He smiled. "You got it."

Once they were at the coffee house, Kal pulled the ladies aside, and explained what was happening. "You can't just take off," Luna said. "That sucks!" Jade protested. "Think about it," Kal said. "Would you want to fall in love with someone and watch them slowly die in front of you?" "'One year of love is better than a lifetime alone'." The other three looked at her, surprised something meaningful came out of her mouth. "What? It's lines to one of my favorite songs." "Yeah, from Highlander, and you know how miserable he was at the end."

Jade was ready to smack Kal in the forehead, when she remembered something she and Luna had found recently. "What if Luna and I could make your guys immortal, without having to drink blood or stay out of the daylight?" Kal looked at her, confused. "What are we talking about here?" "Luna and I have been studying this old spell book, and found an immortality spell." "She's right," Luna chimed in. "It's more like a potion, but you can atleast let us try it." "Yeah."

B and Kal looked at each other, skeptically. "We wouldn't know for years down the road if it works or not, mi hermana," Lady B said. "But wouldn't it be worth the try?" Luna asked. Kal and B thought about it for another second. "Why are we even considering this? You two don't know anything about witchcraft," Kal said. "I don't know about Luna, but I've been practicing since I was a teenager," Jade said. "Why didn't you ever mention this before now?" B asked. "Nobody asked," Luna said with a shrug.

Kal laid her hand on B's arm to keep her from lashing out at the two. "Where is this spell book?" Kal asked. "In the office. We kept it here so we could both read it," Jade said. "Show us the recipe." The four women walked back to the office, but not without Rock stopping B. "Where are you going?" he asked politely. "The girls and I just need to check on something. We'll be out in a few minutes." He smiled and ran his finger along her jaw. "Don't stay gone for too long." "I won't."

Luna pulled the book out of its hiding spot, and flipped through the pages until she found it. She laid it flat on the table, and turned it around so they could read it. Kal and B looked over the list of ingredients. Kal curled her lip, looking almost afraid to ask, "what do they have to do with it?" "Drink it," Luna said. "That's gross," B said.

"It may taste like shit, but it's the price you pay for eternal life," Jade said. "Eternal life?" Kal echoed. "There is one condition. If the coconut falls from the tree, they are goners." "What?" "Decapitated equals dead," Luna said bluntly. Kal and B shared a silent conversation with their eyes. Then Kal nodded. "Alright. Let's try it." "Make it enough for four," B said. "We have to get the stuff. I think we can make it here," Jade said. "Shouldn't be a problem," Luna said.

They went back out to the front of the shop. Jade pulled Scott and Kevin aside. "Luna and I have to do something. Can I get you guys to stay here, and make sure Kal doesn't leave?" "Why? What's going on?" Kevin asked. "We just have to take care of a little problem. It's nothing to worry about." "You don't need us to help you?" Scott asked. "We have it under control." She kissed their cheeks. "We'll be back soon."

The girls were happy to find most of the ingredients at their homes. But a few missing ones meant a trip to a store they dubbed "Fear Factor's wet dream." Once the balook eggs and frog brains were carefully laid in the trunk of Luna's car, they headed back to the Mean Bean.

They spread out the ingredients on the counter in the back, and Jade grabbed the blender. "You're not going to put all of this nasty shit in that, are you?" B asked. "Take it out of my pay check, and get another, if you want." Luna lit the bundle of sage leaves as Jade poured the ingredients into the blender. She pushed puree, then asked for four cups. Luna reached for the coffee mugs but B said, "nuh-uh. Grab the to-go cups." Luna raised an eyebrow at her, but grabbed four foam cups. Once the potion was mixed and poured evenly into the cups, Kal and B asked their guys into the kitchen.

Luna asked the men, "if you still had the chance to be immortal husbands to these women, would you take it?" Kevin looked at Chris. "We chose Kal before, and we'd choose her again without hesitation. Why?" Chris asked. "And you two?" Jade asked. "Of course," Rock and Edge said together. "Jade and I know a way to make you immortal, like your brides." "Well, what do we do?" Edge asked. They set the cups of smelly mixture in front of them. "Drink that."

Rocky picked up his cup, and sniffed the contents. "Oh, God!! Are you serious?" Jericho did the same. "This stuff smells like ass." "But, your women are worth it, right?" Jade asked. Rock looked at B, then pinched his nose and drank the concoction. "Bottoms up," Edge said before turning up his cup. Chris and Kevin took Rock's approach, pinching their noses, and drinking. Once finished, Kevin said, "that was... disgusting." "You should see what was in it," Kal muttered.

"So, now what?" Chris asked. "The book says some convulsing could happen as the potion repairs the damage within your body, but it's normal," Jade answered. "So, now, you start living again," Luna said. "Just don't lose your heads." "I think we can teach them how to keep them," Kal said with a smile.

Chapter 23 – Lady B

Kevin and Chris had just finished swallowing the concoction that Jade had made and they could feel the tingling starting in their bodies.  They started to shake slightly and had to sit down.  No sooner had he sat down, Chris threw his head back and his body shook convulsively.  Kevin, did the same and Batista reached him just before he hit the floor.

Edge and Rock looked at them and then at themselves.  They had not felt anything and wondered what was going on. 

Luna and Jade went back to look at the book with the recipe.  They looked at each other and then at the four men. 

Kevin and Chris had stopped shaking and looked as if they had gotten slightly younger.  “How do you guys feel” Luna asked and she approached him. 

“I feel great” Chris said as he stood up and stretched.  His hair looked shinier and longer, and his skin tone looked better.

“I feel fantastic” Kevin said as he examined his arms which seemed to have grown more muscular.  The rest of the guys crowded around them and all started to speak at the same time.

“And you guys” Jade said as she came closer to Edge and Rock.  “I don’t feel a thing” Rock said. 

“How long were you a vampire” Jade asked.  “I’m not sure.  I lost count after six months” Rock stated. 

“I was made a month before him” Edge said as he pointed at Rock. 

“B, I’m sorry.  It appears that they were vampires for too long so the potion will not work on them.  Apparently Chris and Kevin weren’t vampires for long so they turned” Jade said as she looked at the book again while she scratched the back of her head.

B came over to Edge and Rock and stood in front of them.  She ran her left hand over Rock’s face as she kissed him lightly ont he lips.  She then looked at Edge and ran her right hand through his hair as she kissed him softly on the lips also. 

“I won’t hold it against you that you won’t be immortal.  We will just have to enjoy everyday that we are together to the maximum” she said with a smile on her face that barely showed her canines.

Kal came over to Chris and Kevin and gave them each a kiss.  “Guess I won’t be going anywhere just yet” she said as she linked her arms through their arms and walked with them to her bedroom.  “Don’t wait up for us, I want to see how long this immortality thing lasts” she said over her shoulder with a wink before she closed the door .

Everyone laughed at that.

“Now what?” Christian asked.

“I’m not sure” Luna replied.  But you guys have a mansion and we have our restaurant to run. 

“Well, we did have a good time at the mansion, so why don’t you guys do something with it.  It wasn’t ruined too badly.  And I have a feeling it would make a great disco” Jade added.

Epilogue - Jade

Six months later, the ladies and their men were at the mansion. This time, it was much different. A large flashing neon sign had been hung over the doorway that read "The Feast". Inside, the mansion had been gutted, and turned into a four-clubs-in-one; a country & western club, techno club, kareoke bar and a latin dance club.

As they walked through the doors, Undertaker and Kane greeted them. "Well, what do you ladies think?" Taker asked. "You guys must have been busy," Luna said as she looked around. "Very busy," Batista said. "Being mortal again didn't help, either," Christian added. "You all did great," Kal said. "Yeah, the place looks wonderful," Jade said. "If you don't mind, I hear my kind of music coming from this way," Lady B said.

She, Edge and Rock walked off in the direction of the latin dance club. The other ladies went off in their own direction with their men. Jade had gone off into the techno club with Scott and Kevin. After dancing with them for a while, a song came on that made her stop dead in her tracks. "What's wrong, baby?" Kevin asked. "Listen to who's song is playing!" "It's ok, mija. We know." "Why would you allow Rob's music to be played here!?" "Because if it weren't for him, we never would have met you, or be part-owners of a club. Scott and I should have died a long time ago, baby. We owe him enough to play his music." A smile slowly krept into her lips, as she pulled Scott closer. "I guess I owe him, too. Thanks to him, I have two amazing men."

As Scott leaned down to kiss her, he was tapped on the shoulder. "Mind if I cut in?" the deep southern voice asked. "Just as long as we get her back in one piece," Kevin said. As they walked away, Taker stepped up, and put his hands on her waist. "Seems weird hearing his voice, and knowing he's dead," Taker said. "It does, but as Scott and Kevin reminded me, we all have a lot to thank him for." "Maybe you and your guys do, but all I have right now is this club and my brother."

She laid her head on his chest, and moved with him. She looked over at the bar, and saw a woman watching them. "There's a woman watching us, and I don't think it's because of me," she told him. "Where?" "At the bar. The one with the yellow eyes." He turned to look, and liked what he saw. "Think I should make a pass at her?" "Go for it. Maybe you'll get laid." He leaned down, and kissed her cheek. "Good luck, Taker." "Thanks." She stood and watched as he went to her, and asked her to dance. She smiled, and went back to her guys.

As B was getting a drink from the bar, Kane sat beside her. "You know, I never properly thanked you for killing Rob." She smiled at the big man. "I only did what needed to be done, Kane." "That may be, but we all owe you our mortal asses for saving us from him." B grinned as she heard the thoughts of the woman sitting behind Kane. "You want to pay me back? Take that woman behind you, and go dance with her." She leaned in closer. "She likes your ass."

He smiled as he turned to look at the woman. He turned back to Lady B. "I think I can handle that." As they walked away, B looked at the woman. "She looks exactly like my sister," she thought. She shook her head as she lifted her drink to her lips.

"Penny for your thoughts," Rock said as he leaned on the bar next to her. "I was just thinking about Kane. He hasn't admitted it, but he feels alone." "Looks like he's having fun with his lady friend," Edge said. "The other guys and the girls are waiting for us up in the kareoke bar." "I'm not singing," she said firmly. "It's a private party. We're not singing," Rock said. "Should we bother Kane?" she asked. "He knows about it. He'll join us when he's ready."

Everyone went up stairs, and took a seat in the room. Kal, Chris and Kevin were the last ones in, so the guys barred the door, so they wouldn't be disturbed. Batista stood on the stage waiting for everyone to have a seat. "I, uh... I suck at this shit, so bear with me. That party six months ago was meant for us to find women to make like us. In a strange turn of events, those women made things right, and I couldn't be happier." He chuckled. "Well, I could, but I'd have to kick Christian's ass, and I don't think Luna would be happy about that." The others laughed.

Undertaker stood. "I think what he means to say is thank you for giving us our freedom, for giving us back a normal life, and, uh... Well, the idea for the club. If it weren't for you ladies saving our asses, we'd still be stuck with Rob. We owe you a lot." "Darlin', you don't know how close you came to losing your life," Jade said as she lifted her drink to her lips. "All of you," Kal said. The ladies raised their drinks, and clinked the glasses.

"Hey, guys, can we each get two shots of Jack?" Luna asked. "Sure," Christian said as he got up to get them. "What are you up to, mi hermana? Getting us drunk?" B asked. "You'll see." Once Christian returned with the drinks, Luna stood. "To the ladies we lost in battle. To Shyann, the purest of our group." With that, they drank the first shot.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to do Dove's," Jade said. "Go Ahead." She stood from her seat. "To Dove, my partner in many crimes, that had very bad taste in men. Salute." With that they drank the other shot.

The group remained close, until the last mortal died. The immortals-- Lady B, Kal, Chris and Kevin-- still control the restaurant and the club. But their travels and adventures will never end.
