chapter 1

Star lay on the couch, taking a mid-day nap. She awoke suddenly when leather clad legs touched her dangling ankles. A tall man with long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes stood before her. He looked down at her, an appreciative grin crossing his lips. She looked down at herself, seeing why he was grinning. Her muscle shirt barely covered past her hips.
He leaned over her, and smoothed the red hair away from her face. He gazed into her blue eyes. "You're even more beautiful than I remember, Star."
"Do I know you?" He didn't answer her. He came down to her, and claimed her lips. Star fought him at first, but soon gave in to his tender kiss. A moan rumbled in her throut. He reached up her shirt, and grabbed a firm breast. She snaked her arms up to wrap around his neck. She closed her eyes, fully enjoying his touch.
Rumbling laughter seemed to shake the room. Star opened her eyes, but the man was gone. Her arms were still up, as if she still held him to her. She looked around the room, and found her roommate, Kira, standing over her laughing.
"So, Star, are you going to introduce me to your invisible boyfriend?"
Her cheeks burned red hot with embarrassment. She sat up and swung her legs around to the front of the couch. She hunched over, and murmured, "I need to get laid." She looked at the twilight sky through the mini blinds. "What time is it?"
"It's 8 o'clock." Star's eyes went wide. "Oh, God! I have to get ready for work!" Kira laughed. "I talked to Sean earlier. He said you don't have to be at the bar until 10."
"I need to talk to him before the crowd comes in." Star went into her room and pulled out a mini skirt and a tight shirt that showed off her mid-drift. Kira stood in the open doorway, and looked at the clothes. "Are we seducing the boss, or hoping Mr. Right will walk through the door?"
"Either one works for me. Are you coming to the bar tonight?"
"Yeah. I'm meeting my date there. I can't wait for you to meet this guy! He is like 7 foot, long blonde hair, and gorgeous green eyes. His name's Kevin."
"Wish I could find one like that," Star laughed. "You will soon, girl. Just keep up hope."
Once Star was dressed, she grabbed her purse and headed for the make up table to put on her make up. Once finished, she went to the kitchen for something to eat. She quickly devoured an apple. She gathered her purse and keys, and found her cigarettes on the table. She told Kira bye, before stepping out of the house. She lit a cigarette, and started her walk to the bar.

chapter 2
As she neared "The New Blood Bar", she noticed Scott Norton had door duty, along with Scott Steiner. "Hey, guys. Is it busy yet?"
"My second favorite freak," Steiner said. "Not yet, but if you stand out here, we might get a big crowd of guys."
"Scott, you're a sexist pig." Norton busted up laughing. "Sean's in his office. He said he wants to see you." "Thanks, Norton."
When she walked through the door, she saw Mark Jindrak and Chuck Palumbo standing at the end of the small hallway. "Hey, Mark." She turned to Chuck. "Hey, cutie." She loved making him blush. "Hey, Star," he said, while trying to hide his bright cheeks behind his long dark curls.
She looked at the bar to see who she'd be working with. Mike Sanders stood behind the bar, drying glasses. She kept walking to the back, until she reached her boss' office. She knocked on the door. "Come in," came Sean O'Haire's voice, sounding out of breath.
When she walked in, the first thing she noticed was Sean's bare chest gleaming with sweat. She watched as he continued to practice with his nunchucks. "You wanted to see me?" He stopped swinging the weapon, and laid it down on the desk. He turned and gave her a smile that would stop any woman's heart. "Yes, I did." He looked her up and down. He sat on the edge of his desk. "Come here." She walked over, and stood in front of him. She was so close that she smelled the mixture of his cologne and sweat.
He grabbed her hand, and gently held it in his. "I was wondering if you would have a late dinner with me after work?" She slid her arms around his neck. "Is there a raise involved," she teased. "Um... Well... Uh...," he stuttered. "I was just kidding, Sean. Yes, I will."
He wrapped his arms around her waist, and kissed her on the tip of her nose. "Until then, you have a busy night ahead of you. Torrie already ran off with some guy, Stacy is undependable, and Tigress won't work if Rey shows up. She'll be on his lap all night."
"What about Chae?"
"I fired her last night. I caught her giving a guy a blowjob in the stock room." With a heavy sigh, she said," well, I better get to it, then." She turned to leave the office, but Sean caught her hand, and pulled her back. "You just don't know what that skirt is doing to me."
She looked at his crotch. With an evil grin she said," yes, I do."

chapter 3
Star went behind the bar, and grabbed a tray. Mike came up behind her, and said, "hey, hun. How are you?"
"I'll be doing a lot better when you get your hand off of my ass," she growled. "Ouch." He feigned a hurt look, and pulled his hand away. "Sorry," he said. "I don't like you, can't stand you, don't want you near me. You give me the drinks. Other than that, don't touch or talk to me."
"Don't worry. I won't be working the late shift here much longer. Sean hired a new guy for that. I'll be doing the afternoon crowd."
"The sooner the better," Star muttered. She went out to the floor to get the orders. She looked in the darkest corner, and found a couple familiar faces. She walked over to them and said," well, if it isn't my two favorite customers."
Brian Adams and Bryan Clark looked up at her. She could tell by their eyes that they started the party a little early. "Hey, Star. Sit down, and smoke some with us," Bryan said. "Maybe later, hun. I just got here. Need a couple beers for the cotton mouth?"
"That would be sweet of ya," Adams said. "Be back in a sec." She came back a couple minutes later with their Budweisers. Just as she turned away, Kira came through the door, followed by one of the tallest men she'd ever seen. "Hey, girl. Who's the giant?"
"Star, this is Kevin Nash. Kevin, this is my roommate, Star." They shook hands. "Well, come sit down. What can I get you two?"
After getting their drinks and taking them to the table, she sat with them for a minute. Before getting back to work, Star told Kira about her date. "I told you," Kira giggled.
____________________________________
Once the bar closed, Star and Sean went to eat. Afterwards, they went to his apartment for a drink. After about five too many, they were in bed, making love... No, she would say it was casual sex. She didn't know or care how far what they had went.
Once Sean fell asleep, she put on one of his shirts, and went out on the balcony to smoke a cigarette. Sean never allowed anyone to smoke inside. She thought back to the dream she had that afternoon. The man had been so big, strong, handsome and gentle. That's what she was truely looking for in a soulmate.
She threw the butt down into the alley, then joined Sean in bed. She quickly dozed off.
When Star awoke, she was laying on the dining room table. She heard a noise, and turned her head toward it. All she could see was a butt hanging out of the refridgerator door. 'Nice butt,' she thought.
The man stood up. It was the same man from the day before. In his arms he held a can of whipped cream, a bottle of chocolate sauce, and a jar of cherries. "Ever heard of a human sundae," he asked her. "Who are you?" He grinned at her. "You'll know soon enough."
He squirted the sauce from her breasts down to her center, and he squeezed a good sized amount onto each nipple. On top of that, he sprayed the whipped cream. He finished with a cherry in her belly button and on each nipple.
Just as the man was about to take a sweet nipple into his mouth. Sean rolled over onto Star, waking her up. She muttered a curse. "You ok, Star?" She pushed her hair back from her face. "Yeah. Just go back to sleep."

chapter 4
Around 7 in the morning, Star got up, and left. Sean had a major problem with rolling in his sleep. She went to her apartment, and went back to bed. Her dream picked up right where it left off.
He closed his lips around her nipple, and sucked the sweets off. He rolled the cherry around her nipple before eating it. He did the same to the other nipple. Then, he lapped up the trail he made. He tugged at her clit when he reached the end of the trail.
He sat down in the chair between her feet. He pulled her to the edge, and placed her foot on the back of the chair. He gave her a grin, then buried his tongue inside her. It wasn't long before he brought her to an explosive orgasm.
He stood up from the chair, and took his shirt off. Star noticed the unique looking cross tattooed on his left arm. He leaned over her. With one hand holding him up, and one hand massaging her clit, he asked, "Are you ready for me?"
With a slight nod from Star, he began undoing his pants. Just as his manhood was about to spring forth, her alarm clock went off.
She cursed her bad luck. The dreams had been so vivid, so real. To wake up, and find out it was a dream nearly broke her heart.

chapter 5
She got out of bed, and took a shower. When she got out, she got ready for work. As she opened the door to leave, she came face to chest with Sean. "Hey, Star. I thought you might want to ride in with me."
"Sure." He walked her to the car, and opened the door for her. After closing it for her, he went to the driver's side, and started the Vette. On the way to the bar, he asked her to go out with him again. This time, Star declined, saying she hadn't had enough rest lately. "Maybe some other time," Sean asked. "Ok."
When they pulled up, they saw there was already an impressive sized crowd inside. When they went inside, Star glanced at the bar to see who she'd be working with. 'Sanders, again,' she thought. She elbowed Sean. "I thought you were changing his hours?"
"I did." With that, he went into his office. She stashed her purse in her locker, then went to the bar. As she reached under the counter to grab her tray, she asked Mike,"when is this new guy supposed to be here?"
"Hello to you too, Star." She looked up and flipped him the bird. "Name the place and time," he laughed. "Any minute now, he should be here."
She went out to get the orders. She went to one of the tables and found a guy dressed in a maroon suit, with a pink faux fur coat over it. It had been a while since she'd seen him, but she recognized him. "Hey, Kanyon. Did you get dressed in the dark?"
"Nope. I'm a star now, so I should dress like one." 'God, I hope kids don't look up to him,' she thought. "Ready for a drink?" Chris thought for a moment. "I'll take a dry martini."
She went to the bar, and gave Mike the order. After he set the drink on her tray, he said, "He's coming in now. There's your new partner," and he pointed at the door. She grabbed the tray, then turned to look. A second later, the tray hit the floor.

chapter 6
She couldn't believe her eyes. The man from her dreams was the new bartender. She stood there, staring at him, until Mike yelled her name. "What is it!?"
"Are you going to clean that up, or just leave it," he said sarcastically. "Fuck off." She grabbed a rag and cleaned it up. The next time she looked up, it was because a big shadow fell on her. He grinned down at her. "Do you need some help?"
"Um... No, thanks." She picked up the tray, took it behind the bar, and emptied the broken glass into the garbage. She told Mike, "your relief is here, so you can go." He shook his head. "Star, meet Andrew. Andrew, this is the resident bitch," he laughed the latter. "You're just pissed because I won't screw you." She turned to Andrew. "Don't listen to him. It's nice to meet you," and she reached out to shake his hand. He turned her hand over and kissed the back. Her knees became weak, but she caught herself.
Behind the mirrored glass, Sean stood in his office, watching the whole scene between Andrew and Star. And, it infuriated him.

chapter 7
Once all of the patrons left, Star put her tray up, and grabbed her cigarettes from her purse. She sat down at the bar in front of Andrew. "Ok, first off, how the hell did you do that?" "Do what," he said with an innocent grin. "The telepathy." She lit a smoke, and waited for his answer. "Why don't we talk about this somewhere more private?" "Fine, my place is just down the street. We can talk there."
They both jumped when they heard Sean's office door slam shut. As Sean approached the bar, Star asked him what was wrong. He gave her a strained smile, and said, "guess I don't know my own strength." He sat next to Star, and laid his arm on the back of her chair.
"Why don't you just come home with me, Star? I'll make sure you get some rest." 'Not with the way you roll around,' she thought, but "no thanks" came out of her mouth. Andrew laughed after hearing her. "What's so funny," Sean asked. "I was just thinking of something a friend told me," he lied. Star laughed, realizing what happened.
"I think you two are keeping something from me, and I'd appreciate it if you let me know." Sean gave an accusing stare to Star. "Why the hell are you looking at me like that? I ain't your woman. I can do what I want."
"So, you're going out with him tonight," he said, more than asked. "Not that it's any of your business, but I'm going home from here." She left out the fact that he was coming with her. "Fine. I'll take you home." He grabbed her arm, and pulled. She yanked her arm back. "I'm walking home."
Andrew's eyes took an eerie, blue glow. Next thing they knew, Sean's chair fell back. Andrew jumped over the bar, landing next to him. He kneeled down, with a knee on Sean's chest, and said, "don't you ever touch her again." Sean slowly nodded, his eyes full of anger.
Star climbed down from the barstool, and touched Andrew's back. "Leave him alone, Andrew. Let's get out of here." She grabbed her purse from the locker, and they left.

chapter 8
Once they went into the house, she threw her purse on the coffee table, and searched the house for Kira. She wasn't home. She plopped down on the couch, and said, "ok, we're alone. How can you hear and speak to me without everyone hearing?" "Let's just say our mothers connected us in a special way." "In what way?"
"Let me start from the beginning. When your father died, your mother decided she couldn't live in the big house alone. She moved to Ontario, where she met my mother. And, where she found out she was pregnant with you.
"Just after you were born, while she was unpacking some boxes, she came across a spell book with her father's name on it. She had shown it to my mother, because she was interested in white magic.
"They found a spell that would combine our souls, make us one mentally, and eventually physically. They cast the spell, which is why I came looking for you."
"Why can't I speak to you mentally?" A smile crossed his lips. "You have been. As for reading my thoughts, that may take some practice."
"Do you know about the dreams I've had?"
"I was the cause of the last three. I must say, you looked shocked to see me walk in," he said with a tooth baring grin. 'This is all too freaky,' she thought. 'I know, but you'll get used to it.' "Please stop doing that." He sat next to her on the couch, and pulled her against him. "I'm not here to scare you."
Star thought of something he said. 'The book,' she thought. She jumped up, and ran to her bedroom. She pulled the box, her mother left her, out from under her bed, and opened it. She pulled out a book covered with worn leather, and tarnished silver corners. On the front, it had the name Driden.
"What's wrong," Andrew asked from the doorway. "I have the book," she said, almost shocked. "Now do you believe me?" "I don't know what to believe."
She pushed the box back under the bed, and stood up with the book in her hand. An envelope fell out of the book. On the front, it had her name on it. She sat on the bed, and opened it. She pulled out the slip of paper inside, and read.
"Dear Star,
When you find this, you will have already found out what Angie and I did to you and Andrew. We do not regret what we did, and neither should either of you. We only wanted happiness for the both of you, and nothing would make us happier than to have you two find it in each other. Give him a chance, atleast. You and Andrew are two halves of a whole."
She paused to wipe the tears from her cheeks. Andrew came to sit beside her. "Do you want me to finish reading it to you?" She sniffled, and shook her head no, and continued to read.
"I wish I could be there to explain things, but the Gods saw fit for me to join them. I only ask you to do one thing. Follow your heart. Do what it tells you to. In the end, you will see that the two of you belong together. I will always love you.
Love, Mom."

chapter 9
Tears flowed freely now. "I've heard of mothers setting their kids up on dates, but this is rediculous," she joked. He placed a finger under her chin, and turned her to face him. "It's not that bad of an idea, is it," he asked in a seductive voice. Before she could answer, he claimed her lips with a gentle kiss. His kiss became more heated, when she responded to it. He laid her down on the bed, and slid his hand down her side to her hip. She wrapped a leg around him.
He slowly ended the kiss, and pulled away. "I don't want to screw this up by jumping in the sack with you." She was shocked for a moment, but then said, "ok." "Can I stay for tonight? I'm too tired to make it home." Half of her mind screamed, 'if you let him out of your sight, someone else will snatch him up!' The other half said, 'you don't really know this guy.'
She figured, 'what the hell.' "Sure. You can sleep on the couch if you want." "That's fine." "Ok. If you see a woman come in, don't worry. It's my roommate, Kira." He went out to the living room, and she followed with a pillow from her bed, and a blanket from the closet. She threw them on the couch, and told him good night. She turned to go back to her bedroom, but he grabbed her arm. He pulled her into his embrace, and looked her in the eyes. "Don't get me wrong. I'd love to take you now, but I don't want to rush things. We have an eternity." With that, he gave her a fiercly passionate kiss. "Good night, Star."
Soon after, they were both asleep, and dreaming.
Star sat straight up in her bed, as if a loud noise woke her, but she heard nothing. She put a shirt on, and went to see if anyone was in the house. What she found was Andrew laying on the couch. She went over to the couch, and kneeled beside him. She pushed away a few hairs that covered his face. He grabbed her wrist, and kissed the inside. "I was wondering how long it would take you," he said. "To do what." "To come to me."
He pulled her on top of him, and kissed her neck. He sucked and nibbled the spot where her neck and shoulder met. He slid his hands under her shirt, and pushed it over her head. He sat up with her straddling his hips. He tried to pull her closer to him. She held him back. "My turn," she said with a wicked grin.
She pulled his shirt off, then pushed him back down. She nibbled his earlobe before moving down to his chest. She lightly circled his nipples with her tongue, before nipping at them. She moved further down, and unfastened his pants. Andrew raised his hips, allowing her to pull them and his underwear down. She gasped at the sight of his erection. 'This just keeps getting better,' she thought. She kissed the tip of his head, before taking him into her mouth, and throat. He let out a groan of pleasure, as she bobbed on him.
When she felt the sticky precum seep from him, she stopped. He let out a moan, wanting her to finish him. "Oh, no. I'm in charge this time," she told him. She straddled his hips, once again. She took his manhood in her hand, and positioned it for entry. She slid down his length, and reveled in th feel of him inside her. His hands guided the rocking of her hips. It didn't take either one of them very long to reach their peak. They hadn't had such an intense orgasm, as the one they had just shared.
Andrew rolled on his side, bringing her with him, so they could both lay comfortably. She snuggled into his chest, and fell asleep in his embrace.
When she awoke, in the late morning, she was on the couch, naked, and in his arms.

chapter 10
She tried to push away, but he tightened his arms around her. "Don't move," he whispered. "There's some guy walking around the house." 'Kevin,' she thought. She wondered how much Kira and Kevin had seen, and if she was properly covered when they came in.
"I heard her put the key in the door, and covered you up," he told her. 'Thank you.' She thought for a moment. 'Did we have sex, or was I dreaming?' "A dream that came true while you were having it," he sent, with a smile.
She heard footsteps coming into the living room. She looked up, and saw Kevin. "Good morning, Kev." "Good morning. Where do you keep the coffee?" "The cabinet over the stove." "Thanks." He turned, and went toward the kitchen.
"Now's our chance," Star whispered. "Grab your clothes, and let's head for my room." He sat up, with the blanket surrounding them, and grabbed his pants from the floor. He stood, picking her up with him, went into the room, and slammed the door shut. He dropped the pants, and fell on the bed, being careful not to crush her.
He stared her straight in the eyes, and said, "before you even think it, I didn't make you go out there, and do the things you did." "It doesn't matter if it was you or me. It's what we both wanted." They shared a long kiss before Andrew pulled away, and said, "we need to get dressed." With a groan, she asked, "why?" "I have to get my car from the bar, and I want you to come with me."
They got up, and got dressed. While Star was getting dressed, he noticed a small tattoo on her right buttock. "When did you get that?" She followed his gaze, to see what he was talking about. "The pot leaves? I got them for a Valentine's present a couple years ago, from a couple customers." Out of curiousity, he asked, "were you dating one of them?" "Yes, but we found out we made better friends, than lovers."
"When did you lose your virginity?" "What's with the '20 questions'," she asked, getting upset. He stepped behind her, and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Calm down, Star." He turned her toward the mirror. She looked at herself, and noticed how her eye color changed to bright red, and gasped. "Calm down, and they will go back to normal," he said in a soothing voice. "I just want to know what I missed. I don't know everything that happened to you. Being so far away, I wasn't strong enough to reach you."
She looked at him in the mirror, as he rested his head on her shoulder. "I'm sorry. I just don't like to talk about it. My virginity was stolen when I was 14. The guys that bought this for me, were the first men I trusted since then." "Did they catch the guy that raped you?" Rage became visible in his eyes. "No. It was in a dark alley. I couldn't give them a description." "You didn't recognize the voice?" "It seems so familiar now, but I can't seem to put a face with the voice."
He let out a sigh, and kissed her neck. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you." "It wasn't your fault." Wanting to change the subject, he said, "are you ready to go?" "Yeah, just let me get my shoes on." She went out to the living room, where Kira sat on the couch.
"Spit it out. Who's the guy," she asked with a smile. "Kira, this is my "invisible boyfriend" in the flesh. Andrew, this is Kira." 'What's with the invisible boyfriend reference?' "Long story," she answered.
"So, work wasn't that bad last night, huh," Kira smiled. "I got into it with Sean. We'll be lucky if we have jobs tonight." "Eww. Not good." "Oh well. There are other places to work, if he does fire me." She slid her shoes on, and grabbed her purse. "We're going there now to get his car." "Alright. I'll see you two later." "Later."
By the time they arrived at the bar, it was noon. Andrew went to check on his car, to make sure no one vandilized it. Star went to the door to talk to Norton and Steiner. "Hey, guys. Is Sean inside?" "Yeah. He seems pretty upset. Your friends are in there too." "Adams and Clark?" "Yep." "I'll go say hi. Thanks, Steiner." She kissed his cheek, and walked inside. The first thing she saw was Adams and Clark sitting at the end of the short hall. Everyone else was gathered around the bar.
She heard a walkie talkie buzz, then Norton saying, "Andrew's coming in now." The group turned toward the door. "Andrew! It's a trap! Don't come in!"

chapter 11
It was too late. Andrew was already coming down the hall. Once he stepped toward the bar, the group began to circle around him. She saw Norton and Steiner come in behind him. Star stepped toward him, but was grabbed from behind by Bryan. He pulled her onto his lap, and wrapped his arms tightly around her. "Let me go, Bry!" "No, baby. There are too many of them." "Why won't you help him!?" "It's not my fight."
When she turned back to watch Andrew, the fists started flying. Sean stood back from the crowd, eyes darting from the group to Star. "Leave him alone," she pleaded. "He shouldn't have taken you from me," he said in a deathly calm voice. "I was never your's to take!" "You've been mine for a long time. Remember when you were just a teenager? A dark alley, and your aunt, down the street, calling you to come in?"
The voice of the man who raped her came to mind. "You son of a bitch," she barely whispered. "You're the one that..." She couldn't say it. "Raped you? Yes. I must say, sex is better with you when you give yourself to me," Sean said with an evil smile.
The group continued to beat on Andrew, and he tried his best to protect himself. Chuck kicked him in the back of his knees, knocking him to the floor. Then, everyone started kicking him in the ribs, head, where ever they could get a foot in.
Sean stepped up to Star, and framed her face with his hands. "Don't touch me," she snarled. "Oh, I'm going to do a lot more than touch you. I'm going to take you all over again." He grabbed her wrist, and pulled, but she refused to move. A blinding blue light came from where Andrew lay on the floor. "What the fu..." It distracted her long enough for him to pull her to her feet, and throw her over his shoulder. He carried her out of the bar, and threw her into the Vette. He climbed in the driver's seat, and sped off down the road.
The group quickly backed away from Andrew, as light seemed to shine from every pore on him. The light took the shape of a bubble around him. Norton, trying to be a hero to the boss, charged at him. When he came to the "bubble", he was knocked backward, as if he hit a brick wall.
Andrew slowly picked himself up from the floor, holding his ribs. He half ran, half limped out of the bar. He got in his '68 Mustang, and tried to concentrate on what was happening to Star. "I'm coming, baby." His message was received, because she sent back, "please, hurry!"

chapter 12
Andrew sped after them as fast as he could. "Are you ok," she asked him. 'Don't worry about me. Do you have your seat belt on, 'cause this isn't going to be pretty.'
Sean turned to watch Star, as she buckled herself in. "Are you worried that we're going to have an accident?" "I'm sure we will," she said. He let out a humorless laugh. "I'm a better driver than that."
'Brace yourself,' Andrew told her. Two seconds later, Andrew rear ended them. "Damn," Sean yelled. "Your boyfriend is really getting on my nerves." "It'll only get worse. The only way to make him stop is to let me go."
"Never," he snarled. He stroked her thigh with his finger tips. In a soothing voice, he said, "You were chosen for me, and I won't let you go until the day I die." "What do you mean I was chosen for you?" 'You'll find out soon enough,' came Sean's voice.
They heard the fiberglass body of the car crunch as Andrew smashed into them again. Sean veered down another street, then zig-zagged out of the neighborhood, losing Andrew in the process. He got back on the highway that lead out of town. "Where are you taking me?" "Home. To the coven." Her mind was whirlling with questions. The words that stuck in her mind were home and coven.
'What does he mean 'Home. To the coven'?' "I don't know, Star, but I'm not far behind."
Star looked in the side mirror. The only way she could tell Andrew was behind them, was when light gleamed on the chrome bumper from the gas station they had just passed. She didn't feel quite as nervous, since she knew he was there.
She was startled from her thoughts when Sean reached up, and carressed her face. "You should get some rest. It's a long ride, and you'll have a shocking reunion once we get there." She felt anything but tired, until he rested his thumb on her temple. Soon after, sleep claimed her.
Andrew tried to keep contact, to keep her awake, but couldn't. 'Rest easy, Star. I won't let anyone hurt you.'

chapter 13
When Star awoke, she was on a marble slab, naked, in the middle of a clearing in the woods. "What the hell..." she thought to herself. 'Are you ok, Star?' came Andrew's voice. "I am totally freaked, now, but no bodily harm." 'Where are you? I lost you and Sean while we were going through the trees.' "I just woke up! What makes you think I know!?" her mind screamed with panic. "I'm in a clearing."
An idea formed in Andrew's head. 'Let the anger, and fear take over your senses.' "Why?" 'Just do it. You'll see why, if it works.'
She did as he instructed, closing her eyes to concentrate. Before long, a red-orange light seemed to seep from her body, making the clearing light up.
Andrew turned in circles, until he saw a faint light through the trees. He started to follow it. 'Open your eyes.' She did, and her eyes became wide. "Oh shit!" She looked straight up. All she saw was a figure in a black robe standing over her. Her concentration was lost, and the light disappeared.
"Good, you're awake," Sean said. Star tried to move, but found she was chained to the slab. "I have someone who wants to meet you. Star, this is your father, Eric Bischoff." He walked up, and stood over her. "You're supposed to be dead," she said, shocked. "I'm very much alive, as you can see. Your mother didn't want you to see what kind of man I am."
'What happened?' Andrew asked. "I just met my father."
"Yes, keep in contact with your lover," Eric said. "He will get what's coming to him. Then, Sean will make you his, forever." Eric and Sean exchanged evil grins. "I always thought of you as a son. I'd be proud to have you as a son-in-law." They shared a hug.
They were making her sick. "No more communication, Andrew. My father can hear everything." 'Alright. I love you, and I will get you out of here.'
Star heard the rattling of metal behind her. She turned her head toward the noise, and saw Mike Sanders carrying a tray to Eric. When he set the tray down beside her, she saw it's contents; a silver chalice, a dagger, and a book.
Eric picked up the book, and opened it. Once he found the page he wanted, he laid it back on the tray. He said some words, that she couldn't understand. He picked up the dagger, and held it high above his head. "The blood of the innocent is spilled for you," and with that, he brought the knife down.

chapter 14
Star closed her eyes, and steeled herself for the blade about plunge into her. She heard noises coming from the wall of trees. She looked toward the noise, and saw Andrew running out. He speared Eric, bringing him to the ground. As he was about to punch Eric, he was grabbed from behind by Sean. He pulled Andrew to his feet, and punched him in the jaw. While he was dazed, Sean spun around and kicked him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground.
Andrew grabbed Sean's legs, and pulled them out from under him. He stomped on Sean's crotch, making him curl up into a fetal position. Someone punched Andrew in the back. He turned around, and was face to face with Mike Sanders. Andrew gave him an evil look, and Mike backed away from him. "Come here, asshole," he growled. Mike ran off in the woods to get away.
A robed figure ran towards him, and received the big boot. When he fell to the ground, the hood flew back, and revealed Chuck's face. Andrew struggled with the chains, but finally realized he couldn't get them on his own. "Are you ok, hun?" "Yeah, thanks to you," she smiled up at him.
Movement from behind him caught her eye. "There's someone behind you!" He whirled around, and met eye to eye with Scott Steiner. "Let's see if you can kick me around like you did these guys." Andrew threw the first punch, but Steiner blocked it.
Star's attention was diverted by movement beside her. Two robed figures were trying to free her from the chains. She was confused, until she heard one of them say, "go help Andrew. I'll take care of Star." It was Bryan. "Bryan, what the fuck is going on!?" "I don't know, but I've been keeping your ass out of trouble for a couple years, and I ain't about to let you down now."
Bryan left her long enough to steal the key from Eric. Once he unlocked the padlocks, he pulled her into a tight embrace. "Thank God you're alright, hun. Here..." He let go of her and took off his robe. He handed it to her, to cover her nakedness. "Thanks, Bry." "Now, let's get those two, and get out of here."
"Not yet," she said, revenge clouding her thoughts. "Where'd the knife go?" They looked all around on the ground for it. "I have a better question," Bryan said. "Where did Eric go?" She looked up in time to see Eric thrust the knife into Andrew's back. "NOOOOO," she wailed.

chapter 15
Andrew dropped to his knees. "I have plans for my daughter, and they don't include you," Eric said. He twisted the dagger, then pulled it out.
Bryan tried to hold Star back, but she broke free. She pushed Eric away from him, and fell to her knees in front of Andrew. She touched his face, and a terrible pain tore through her shoulder. She pulled her hand away. "What the hell was that?" "You felt my pain. Just don't touch me."
"Let me atleast see how bad it is." She crawled around to his side, and looked at his shoulder. "Andrew, we have to get this shirt off of you." She helped him take it off, then pressed it to his wound to stop the bleeding.
She heard movement close behind them. She turned and saw Eric standing over them. Then, she heard a whack, and Eric crumpled into a pile on the ground. Adams stood over him, concern plain on his face. "Are you two ok?" "No, he's not. We have to get him out of here." Adams helped Andrew up, and over to the marble slab. Star tried to follow, but was grabbed from behind by Sean.
He spun her around, and said, "even if the ceremony isn't complete, you're still mine." He brought his lips down hard on her's, and bit into her lower lip. It throbbed from the wound he made. He licked the blood off. "You're a part of me, now. And soon, I will be a part of you." He dragged Star into the woods, by her hair. She stomped on his foot, making him release her. She spun around, and punched him in the mouth. Blood began to trickle from his lip.
He kissed her again, hoping she would taste his blood. When he pulled away, she spit in his face, and wiped the blood away with the robe's sleeve. She turned and ran as fast as she could back to the clearing. Just before she made it through the wall of trees, she ran into someone. She looked up at him, and took a step backward. His face was as pale as a ghost, with black markings, making it look like a skull. "Who, or what, are you," Star asked. He didn't answer.
She heard Sean not far behind her. "I gotta get out of here." She tried to side step the man, but he grabbed her hand, and led her away. They walked around the outside of the clearing, until they were close to the slab. They broke through the trees, and walked over to Andrew. She looked up, and saw Adams & Clark fighting off some of the others. The man joined Star's and Andrew's hand. Then he said, "stay with him, no matter what. Your combined strength will heal him."
"Will you tell me your name, so I can thank you?" "I am Vampiro, and your thanks are not necessary," he said with an evil grin.
He walked to the center of the clearing, and extended his arms at his sides. He closed his eyes, and leaned his head back. He started chanting in an unfamiliar language. He opened his eyes, and pointed at Eric. "You have screwed me for the last time. The time has come for revenge." As he said the last, Sean's henchmen burst into flames.
