chapter 16
Vampiro turned to Andrew and Star. "Go home, Test. Take her with you. The only way you'll be safe, is if you go back to where it all started." Andrew nodded, slightly confused. 'How did he know what I used to be called?' he asked himself.
Adams and Clark lead them through the woods to their car. Once all were inside, Adams sped off in the direction of the hospital. Andrew's life fluids were draining fast. The shirt she held to his shoulder was soaked.
As they were driving along, Andrew slumped over. Star checked his pulse. It was slow, but strong enough for him to live. She decided to go against his word, and touch his bare skin with her hand. She felt the pain rip through her again. She held her hand there, until the pain subsided. She lifted the shirt from his wound. There was nothing left, except a small scar.
His eyes fluttered , then opened. She smiled at him. "Hey, handsome," she said, weakly. "Feel better?" "Yeah, what happened?" "I helped you. Nothing but a scar now." "Baby, you shouldn't have. That was too much pain for you." "But I took it, and you're better. I didn't like seeing you in pain." "Thank you," he said, as he placed a gentle kiss on her lips.
She turned to Adams. "Hey, Brian, skip the hospital. Can we go to your place long enough to get a flight out of here?" "Yeah, but what about his shoulder?" "It's taken care of." "Alright."
As soon as they were in his apartment, Star went to the phone book, and started calling airlines. Once their flight was set, she went to Brian's room, and stole a pair of his sweat pants and a t-shirt. When she came out, she sat on the couch with Andrew.
"This is all too fucking weird. Do you know that guy that helped us?" "No, but he sure knows me," Andrew answered. "He knew the name I was given at a bar in Canada." "Atleast he seemed to be on our side."
Adams came into the room, and sat on the couch. When Bryan came in, he asked her to join him in the other room for a minute. She went into Adams' room, sat on the bed and he closed the door behind her. He sat beside her, and laid his hand on her knee. "Are you sure you want to run off to Canada with this guy? You barely know him." "I know that, but everything he's told me has checked out, and if I really am in trouble, I'd like to know that I have someone with me for protection." "You know Brian and I are always here, when you need us," he said as he lazily rubbed the inside of her knee.
She placed her hand on top of his. "Please, don't do that anymore. And, yes, I know you guys are always there for me. It's just, this time, Andrew and I will have to handle this on our own." "If that's how you want it... Just remember, one call, and we'll be on our way." He kissed her under her ear. He stood up, and walked to the door.
"Can I ask you something before you go out there," Star asked. "Anything." "Are you jealous? I don't see it in your eyes, but I see it in your actions." He reached into his pocket, pulled something out, then sat back down. "Yeah, I am a little. I got this for you last week. I just hadn't found the right time to give it to you." He handed her the box, and she opened it. Inside was a beautiful gold ring with a single heart-shaped diamond. "I was going to ask you to marry me."
"Oh, Bryan... It's beautiful." "I thought you'd like it. I just wish I would have given it to you sooner." "If you would have asked me last week, I would have said yes," she said as a tear rolled down her cheek.
She saw him coming down to claim her lips, and was helpless to stop it from happening. She knew she wanted it to happen, as much as he did. He gently brushed his lips across her's, then firmly pressed them together. When his tongue slid across her lips, she pushed him away. "Bryan, I can't do this. I can't do Andrew this way."
He looked deep into her eyes, and slid the back of his hand over her cheek. "If he ever hurts you, I'll kill him." Star grabbed his hand, and kissed his wrist. "Thank you, Bry." "For what?" "For helping me. For loving me. For wanting to marry me. You'll always be in my heart, no matter who I'm with." He gave her another quick kiss, before someone started pounding on the door. "Come on, Star! Let's go to the airport," Andrew yelled, angrily.
She stood and walked to the door, to open it. She turned back to look at him. "Goodbye, Bryan." "Bye, Star." Bryan watched as she opened the door and walked out of his sight. Andrew stood in the doorway, glaring at him, but he ignored him. He laid back, and looked at the ring, she left laying on the bed. "Take good care of her. She's the one I wanted for my wife, but she chose you, instead." "I love her too much to let anything happen to her."
Andrew joined Star and Brian in the living room. She gave Brian a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for everything, bro." "Anytime, Lil One." "Bye." "Bye. We'll miss you." "I'll miss you guys, too."
"Yeah, Clark a little more than Adams, right," Andrew's voice came to her, sarcastically. 'We'll talk about that later.' They walked out to the street, where they could hail a taxi. "Don't be upset with Bryan, or me, over what happened. I didn't know he still felt that way about me. And, to find out he was going to ask me to marry him came as quite a shock to me. Anyways, I chose you over him. Otherwise, I'd be in there with him, instead of going to Canada with you."
"Don't worry about it. I just got upset, because I had to see it all as it happened. I understand that you were just telling him goodbye."

chapter 17
Once they landed, Andrew rented a car, and they headed out to the house he grew up in. After driving down a tree lined path, the house came into view. When they pulled up in front, they noticed someone was sitting on the porch. "Who the hell....," Andrew said.
They got out of the car, and walked up the steps. Once they reached the top step, Star recognized Vampiro. "How did you know where we were going?" He stood from the porch swing, and walked toward them. "I spent a great deal of time here. As well as at your mother's. I'm not surprised that you don't remember me, but Andrew should."
Andrew thought back to when he was a child. He remembered his mother had taken a man in, and was teaching him her craft. 'But, this couldn't be the same guy,' he thought. 'He would be in his forties now.'
"I haven't aged in over 150 years," Vampiro said, reading Andrew's mind. "You mean, you're really a..." Star hid behind Andrew, realizing what he meant. "Yes, Star. And, if I wanted to hurt you, I could have done it in the woods." "Ok, but that doesn't tell me why you're here now. Why?" "I swore to both of your mothers that I would protect both of you. There is another protector. He is on his way as well, with a friend of your's, Star." "Who?"
A car pulled up behind them. "There they are now." The doors opened, and Kevin and Kira stepped out. Kira ran up the steps, and hugged her friend. "Kevin? Where does he fit into all of this?" "Why don't we go inside and talk about it," Vampiro said, as he noticed the sun coming up on the horizon. "I'll have to hide soon. I assume the coffin is still in the basement?" "I suppose so. I haven't been down there in years."
Andrew unlocked the door, and they all went in. "Go get some rest, Vampiro. I'll fill them in," Kevin said. "Alright. I'll see you all at nightfall."
Everyone got comfortable in one of the chairs, except Kevin, who paced in front of the others. "Well, any questions, just ask them." "Why the hell are we here," Kira asked him. "Star and Andrew are in quite a bit of trouble, and this is the safest place for them. We are here because I swore to protect her, when she was born, and being her friend, Sean and Eric could come after you." "How did you get wrapped up into this," Star asked him. "I'm your mother's little brother." "Why didn't she tell me about you, and why didn't Aunt Vera talk about you, or have pictures?" "I'm the black sheep of the family. Your mother was the only one who accepted me for the way I am." "Are you two the only protectors?" "Now, we are. There was another, but he is dead. He was watching over you when you were raped. Unfortunatly, Sean knew about Scott, and killed him before he got to you." "Why are we sitting here, instead of hunting down Eric and Sean," Andrew asked. "The spell your mother put on the house to protect it. They can't come in uninvited. They will come for you, and when they do, we will be ready for them. Star, did you bring my father's book?" "I grabbed it," Kira said. "I thought it would be interesting to read on the way here." "Good. Kira, you and Star need to get some rest. Andrew and I have some preparing to do." "What are we going to do?" "We're going to make this place invisible."

chapter 18
Once they finished with the spell, the men joined their ladies in bed. When Andrew joined Star, he whispered, "are you awake?" "Yes. I'm too scared to sleep." "Don't worry, baby. I'm not going to let anything happen to you." He wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her back against his chest. "There are only two of them now." "If the stories I've heard about my father are true, then that could be bad enough. My mother and my aunt told me stories of his sorcery. I always thought it was just stories to make me look up to him, to respect the father I never knew. Now, I see he isn't worthy of respect or admiration. He's just a dickhead with a spell book."
Andrew thought for a moment. "It won't work, Andrew. I'm sure he'd gaurd that book with his life." He looked at her with a slightly shocked expression. "Do you realize what you just did?" "What?" "You read my thoughts. I was thinking of getting the book from him." "Whoa. That's pretty cool! It's like you were talking to me. But, like I said, your idea probably won't work." "We'll come up with something. Right now, we need to get some sleep."
Star snuggled against him, and closed her eyes. She tried to go to sleep, but she kept thinking of the first dream she had of Andrew. 'Maybe we should create a new dream for you,' Andrew said. 'Like what?' 'Care to dance?' His leather pants and t-shirt changed into a three piece suit. He reached a hand out to her, and she took it. The muscle shirt she had been wearing changed to a form-fitting knee high dress. He placed her hands on his shoulders, then placed his at the small of her back. He looked at the radio, and the slow sweet melody of "Yesterday" came through the speakers. They swayed, and kissed, through the song.
Outside of his "mind seduction", Andrew's hands carressed her hip, then her thighs. He slid his finger between her folds, and along the crevice. Star moaned, and adjusted so he could have easier access. Andrew squeezed her right breast firmly, as he plunged two fingers inside of her.
Back inside their minds, his hands were crawling up her thighs, and under her dress. He carressed her center through her silk panties. Star undid his pants, and slid her hand inside. She took the weight of him in her hand, and gently stroked him. He let out a low, rumbling growl. He picked her up, and carried her to a bedroom. When the door opened, they were bathed in candle light.
He carried her to the side of the bed, and set her down. He reclaimed her lips, as his hand reached for the zipper on the back of her dress. He unzipped it, then let it fall, pooling around her feet. He went down on his knees, and nibbled on her breasts.
Star pushed his jacket from his shoulders, and let it fall to the floor. She pulled at his tie, until the knot came out, then it joined the jacket. She unbuttoned his shirt, and pushed it off, as well. She ran her fingers through his hair, as he scraped his teeth over her breasts. "Lay down," he told her. She did, and he laid on top of her.
"Open your eyes." She did, and stared into his. She then looked around the room. It was the same as it was before she went to bed, except, now, there were candles standing lit all around. "I want to know you are awake this time," he said in a husky tone.
"I don't think I could fall asleep, now."
He kissed her gently. He pulled back, and stared at her again. "Tell me what you want me to do." "Make love to me."
He slowly guided his length inside her. He kept up a slow, deep pace, that was driving them both crazy. Star stared up at him. His eyes were closed, and his face was contorted from the concentration he held for restraint.
She lifted her hand to his face, and smoothed away the lines, and eventually all of the contortion. He opened his eyes, and looked down at her. She smiled at him, and said, "don't hold yourself back. I am your's. Do with me what you wish."
His pace quickened. His thrusts drove deeper. Star wrapped her legs around his waist, and held on to the headboard. The air around them seemed to crackle when she felt her orgasm nearing. She closed her eyes, and allowed her body to enjoy the full rapture of him inside of her. She could no longer feel anything except Andrew; not even the bed.
She opened her eyes when lights flickered around them. A gust of wind spun through the room, and lightening shot from their bodies. She also noticed that they were closer to the ceiling.
She was about to share her alarm with Andrew, when the first waves of her orgasm washed over her body. She cried out his name, then tried not to yell anymore for fear of waking everyone up.
Within seconds of her orgasm starting, his rushed through him. With two hard thrusts, he released his seed within her. Soon after, their bodies floated back down to the bed. They curled up together, and fell asleep.

chapter 19

They awoke hours later, when they heard heavy metal music blaring from a car pulling into the driveway. Andrew jumped out of bed, and put his jeans on. He went over to the window, and looked to see who was there. "Holy shit," he said, getting excited.

"Who is it, baby?" "Some friends of mine." Star climbed out of bed, and joined him at the window. Three blonde men exited the car. "Test, we know you're here," the tallest one said. "Get out here!" the smaller one said.

Andrew opened the window. "Why don't you three shut the hell up? I'll be down in a minute."

"Hurry up, ass clown!" "You actually call them friends?" Star asked. "They're just joking with me." He handed her his shirt, and kissed her on the cheek. Then, he went downstairs, and opened the door to let his friends in. "Who the hell are you calling an ass clown? You look like a homo with your hair like that," he said after looking at the red braid attached to blonde hair.

"Get with the times, man. Freaky colors are in, now." "Yeah, and you're just the freak to go with the flow." "Hey, is that any way to treat an old friend?" "Yeah, some friend you are... By the way, how the hell did you know I was back?" "The Lord saw it." "What? I hope McMahon doesn't have you calling him Lord now."

"No," the medium sized one said. "The Corporation has merged. It's now the Corporate Ministry." "Ok. Who's this Lord guy?" "The Lord of Darkness; The Undertaker." "That guy brain washed you guys into thinking he's the 'Lord of Darkness'? God, you guys are gullible..."

They heard the stairs creak as Star came down them. They all turned to stare at her. "If we knew you had company, we would have went upstairs," the biggest one said to Andrew. "Shut up, Jericho." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Guys, remember I told you that there was only one woman in the world for me? This is her. Star, this is Chris Jericho, Edge and Christian." "So, you guys are the assholes that woke me up," she said in a teasing tone. "Fiesty one," the tall one, Jericho, said. "She'll fit in with us," the medium one, Edge, said. "I don't want her fitting anywhere near you," Andrew said with a raised eyebrow.

Kevin came downstairs, and asked Andrew, "is everything ok?" "Damn, you're a big mother fucker!" Christian said to him. "Good. I didn't shrink overnight," he mumbled as he came into the living room. "Good morning, Uncle Kev," Star laughed. "Good morning. Who are the Bopsy triplets?" "They're more help," Andrew answered.

"Excuse me, but what the hell did we just get signed up for," Edge asked. Andrew explained everything; from being promised to Star as a toddler, to Sean being promised her by her father, to the fight in the woods. "Now, we're waiting for them to show up." "That totally reaks of suck-titude," Christian said. "Did you ever learn English," Kevin asked him. Christian ignored him. "Why do you need help for just two guys? You and Kevin look big enough to take on two," Jericho said. "There are actually three of us, but Eric is a tough son of a bitch. We don't know if we're enough," Kevin answered. "And we don't know how advanced Sean is in his training. He could be just as strong as Eric."

"You should talk to the Lord. He could help you. He practices black magic, but I'm sure he would help you," Christian said. "The Lord?" Kevin asked. "The Undertaker," Edge said. "I'm not going to put my niece's future in the hands of that freak!" "You know him?" "I've fought him." "And you lived? Damn, you must be a tough one," Christian said. Kevin just rolled his eyes at him.

chapter 20

"Eric, why are we just sitting around? Shouldn't we go to Canada after her," Sean asked. "Why leave, when someone can bring her back to us?" "Who?" "An old friend of mine," he replied with a wicked grin. "He'll make sure she doesn't escape this time." Eric's cell phone rang. "Hello." "They are on the way to the club now," the voice on the other end said. "That's great. Remember what I said. Don't hurt her." "I know, Eric." "Good. See you when you get back."

While he was on the phone, Sean went out on the pier behind Eric's house. He wished it didn't have to be this way. He didn't like what he had done when she was fourteen. He was seventeen at the time. He had watched her walk to and from school every day. He became mesmerized by her beauty and innocence. That day, he had been waiting in the alley to see her up close. When she passed the alley, he called her back.

"What's your name," he had asked. "Star Bischoff. Who are you?" "Sean." He grabbed her hand, and kissed the back. "Would you go out with me?" "I just met you." "I know, but I've watched you walk by here everyday, and I think I've fallen for you." Star bit her lower lip. Sean brought his hand to her face, and traced her lips with the pad of his thumb. She tried to look into his eyes, but his face was hidden by the shadows. "I don't think I should. You're obviously older than me, because you are so much bigger. I wouldn't want to get you or me in trouble."

He had leaned down, until they were eye to eye. "Nobody will get in trouble." He tilted her chin up, and softly kissed her. Her response awakened a hunger within him. Moving from her lips, he kissed her jaw, then just under her ear. As he nibbled and sucked at the base of her neck, she whispered, "please stop." "I can't," he had replied. "I want you too much. I couldn't stop if I wanted to." His hand went under shirt, and wrapped around her small breast. "Don't do this..." "Please let me. I don't know what I might do if you don't."

She tried pushing him away, then. "I said stop!" He used his size and strength to his advantage. He picked her up, and carried her to the darkest corner of the alley. He laid her down on an old matress next to a dumpster. Star pounded on his chest, while he pushed her skirt up, and pulled down her panties. He released his length from his jeans, and entered her. He stopped when he reached her hymen. He reared back, and pushed through. She screamed out in pain, and tears streamed from her eyes.

He winced as he remembered what he put her through. "I'm so sorry, Star," he pleaded to the ocean. Words filled his head. A simple love spell a good witch had taught him years ago.

Bud and blossom, leaf and tree,

Find her, bind her, now to me.

Shoot and seedling, root and bough,

Threads of love entwine us now.

He went back inside to perform the spell. He hadn't noticed two sets of eyes watching him.

****************************************

Andrew, Star and Kevin waited until dark to meet with Undertaker, so that Vampiro could go with them. "I don't think we should be doing this," Vampiro mind-spoke to Kevin. "What else should we do," Kevin asked. "It sure as hell couldn't hurt." "Oh, no? Taker is on the same side as Eric. Who's to say that he wouldn't turn her over to Eric and Sean?" "And, who's to say that he would? Not all dark witches work together."

"Look, either way, maybe he can teach me something," Star said to them. They stared at her in disbelief. "You heard us," Vampiro asked. "Yeah, so?" "You're only supposed to hear Andrew. You were never supposed to hear us," Kevin told her. "Maybe this 'Lord' guy knows why I can hear you. Let's just see what we can find out."

"All right. This is the place," Andrew said as he pulled up in front of a dark stone building. Bowls of fire sat on either side of the door. There was no sign outside, indicating the name of the establishment. There were only three cars and one truck outside. "Must be a slow night," Kevin said. "Knowing Taker, it's probably like this all the time," Andrew said.

When they walked in the club, they were bathed in black light. Not a soul was in sight. "Edge, Christian, Jericho... Are you guys here," Andrew called out. Vampiro used his senses to find out where they were. He whirled around in time to grab the hand reaching for his shoulder. "Hey, man, it's cool." "It is not 'cool'. I could have ripped your arm off." "Jericho, try to be careful around Vampiro. You might lose your life, if you don't," Star warned. "Where's Taker," Kevin asked. "I'll take you to him."

He lead them to the back of the building, and opened a door. A large figure in a black robe sat in a stone throne. "They have arrived, my Lord." "You are dismissed, Jericho." The figure stood, towering over all of them, except Kevin. He stood toe to toe, nose to nose, with Kevin. "I'd hoped I'd never see you again," Undertaker said to him. "If it wasn't for my niece, you wouldn't. She's in trouble, and I'll do anything to help her." "And, if I choose not to?" "You'll be signing your own death warrant." The room shook with his humorless laugh. "I'm already dead, remember?" "I'll make sure you stay in the grave this time. All it takes is cutting off your head, and it's 'bye bye, Taker'." Undertaker snarled. "You would remember, wouldn't you?" Kevin gave him a cocky grin. "I knew we'd meet again."

Taker returned to his throne. "You want me to give her answers on the black craft, or teach her?" "Answers, and the basics." With a sigh, he said, "alright, I'll do it, but not for you." He turned toward Star. "Your ol' man happens to be a bit of a friend of mine." He turned back to Kevin. "I have one stipulation with this. It will only be Star and me when I train her." "HELL NO!" Kevin shouted. "If she does not have the proper concentration, she won't get it right, and that could be fatal for you, Star, Test, and my friends outside that door." With a growl, Kevin said, "fine, but if you hurt her..." "I know, I know... You'll chop my head off." "Right."

"Ok, then. Let's get the training over with first. Just in case she has any questions about what I teach her." Vampiro, Kevin and Andrew left the room.

chapter 21

As Sean tied the apple to the tree (the final step in the spell), he felt a presence behind him. "What do you want, Bryan?" "I want you to leave Star alone. She doesn't belong to you, and never has." "On the contrary, she shared my bed with me before Andrew showed up." "You bastard... You knew I wanted to marry her. You knew I was going to ask her." "It had been over a year. She didn't feel the same way anymore. And, I have loved her longer. Feel lucky I haven't kicked your ass for having her." "I'll tell you what, you can kiss my ass. Star wanted me. I just didn't say no." "And now, she wants neither of us. So why are we arguing," Sean asked as he faced Bryan. "Because of that," Bryan replied, as he pointed at the apple.

"You taught me the spell for a reason. I thought it was for Star." "I should drown you, so Star won't have to kill you." "Take your best shot." He swung at Sean, but he caught Bryan's fist in his hand. He swung with the other hand, with the same ending result. Sean twisted his wrists. "As you see, I have grown stronger than what you have taught me. I don't want to hurt you, Bryan, but if you stand between me and Star, I will."

*******************************************

After three hours of training, Undertaker and Star took a short break. Star went to the bar, to get a bottle of water. The bar was empty, with the exception of Vampiro, Kevin, Andrew, Edge and Christian. "Where's Chris," she asked the guys. "In the can," Christian said. Edge elbowed him. "Uh... In the bathroom." "I know what you meant." "How's the training coming along, babe," Andrew asked her. "Pretty good, I think. I can shoot fire from my hands." "He's not teaching you any weird shit, is he," Kevin asked. "No. Not that I consider any of this normal."

She returned to the room she and Taker were working in, but Taker was gone. 'He must of had to go, too.' Suddenly, she was grabbed from behind. A hand clamped over her mouth, before she could let out a scream. She was then dragged out the back door, and thrown in the trunk of a car. Just before the person closed the trunk, she saw Chris Jericho. "God damn you, Jericho! I'll kick your fucking ass when I get out of here!"

***********************************************

Minutes later, Taker came out of the training room. "Is Star out here?" "No, she just went back in there." "She's not in here." "Star," Kevin called out, but there was no answer. Vampiro used his powers, to locate Star. "Shit!" He jumped out of his chair, and headed to the door. The others followed behind him. They made it outside in enough time to see Jericho's car speeding out of the parking lot.

"I should have known not to trust him," Taker said. Andrew ran as fast as he could to the car, with Kevin and Vampiro right behind him. Edge, Christian and Taker ran to Taker's hurse. They followed in the direction Jericho went. What they didn't know was that Jericho had hidden the car in the woods. Once both cars had past him, he pulled out of the woods, and went in the opposite direction. He drove to a small airport, where Eric had a private jet waiting for Jericho and Star.

chapter 22

Within hours, Jericho delivered Star to Eric and Sean. When she was dumped at their feet, she looked up at Sean with distaste. "And to think, I actually liked you." She looked at her father. "You, I liked better dead." Sean tried to help her up. "Get the fuck away from me." "I don't want to hurt you," he whispered to her. "Atleast not yet," Eric said. "Eric, let me talk to her alone." "You might as well get to know your new bride... Jericho and I will leave you two."

As soon as the door was closed, Sean worked on the ropes that bound her. "As I was saying, I don't want to hurt you. I want to help you." "What? Why the sudden change of heart?" "Because I've already put you through hell, and I can't make you love me." He lied. He knew any moment, the spell would take effect.

Star raised her hand to his cheek, then kissed him. He wrapped his arms around her, as he deepened the kiss. Even though she thoroughly enjoyed the kiss, she slapped him when it ended. "Just because I kissed you, doesn't mean I forgive you." "I can live with you hating me, if you let me kiss you." She agreed. Star couldn't explain why she agreed, but Sean knew all too well that it was the spell.

**********************

"Where is she, Vampiro," Kevin asked him. "She's too far away for me to tell. I'm afraid Jericho took her back to Sean and Eric." Andrew pulled the car over. "Kevin, take over the driving. I'll see if I can contact her." As soon as they switched chairs, Andrew leaned his seat back, and closed his eyes. Soon, a tear squeezed between his eyelids, as he watched Star and Sean kiss. "They have her. We need to hurry, before I lose her forever."

**********************

Eric and Jericho returned to the room while Sean and Star were still kissing. "Now that's better," Eric said. "Fuck you, Eric." "That would be incest, my dear." "We may be related by blood, but you are no dad of mine." She looked behind Eric at Jericho. "Chris, I haven't forgotten my promise." He started shaking. "Oh, I'm so scared!" Star put her wrists together, and shot a fireball at Jericho, hitting him in the chest. He picked himself up from the floor, and said, "you bitch!" "That's no way to speak to Star." "What'll you do to me?" "Jericho, Sean's powers are much stronger than your's. I wouldn't piss him off." "Yeah, whatever. I'm out of here." As he stepped out of the door, it slammed shut, barely missing him. "Asshole," Sean mumbled.

"Now, are you willing to marry Sean, or do we have to fight you again?" She looked up into Sean's eyes, and said, "yes, I'll marry him."

************************

Thousands of miles away, in Canada, Andrew yelled at the top of his lungs. "What is it? What happened," Kevin asked. "She just agreed to marry Sean."

chapter 23

Kevin turned the car around, and went back to the club. He went into the trunk, and pulled out his sword. He marched through the front door, then the back room where Taker sat on his throne. He put the sword to Taker's throat, and said, "if I find out you're working with Eric Bischoff..." "Whoa... Who?" "Eric Bischoff. Star's father." Taker reached behind the throne, where a sword was cleverly hidden. Kevin pulled his sword back, preparing for a fight. "I'm willing to help you, Nash. That bastard brings shame to our black craft." Kevin's eyes almost bulged from his skull. "You'd actually fight WITH me, instead of against me?" "Let's just say Bischoff has made enemies on both ends of the stick." "Then, let's get out of here. They took her back to Texas." "My old stomping grounds," Undertaker said.

"We shall perform the ceremony within the hour. There's no sense in waiting," Eric told Sean and Star. "Give us a couple hours to prepare." "Eric, Sean, can we do this tomorrow night? I am so sleepy," Star said while yawning. "We can't wait. There are too many people who don't want this marriage to happen," Eric explained. Sean tilted her head up with two fingers under her chin, and gently kissed her. "You can get some rest, while your father and I prepare for the ceremony. Ok?" "Ok, baby."

They shared another kiss, before he helped her up from the floor, and lead her to his bedroom. When he went back to the room, Eric stared at him in disbelief. "What did you do to make her agree?" Sean laughed. "It doesn't hurt to know a few good spells."

Outside, by the tree that Sean hung the apple from, Bryan stood. He looked up into the tree with distaste. "I never should have taken that bastard in," Bryan told Adams. "True, but how could you have known that you would both fall in love with Star? How could you have known that he would take to black magic?" "Star couldn't have been helped, but I should have known that his heart was impure." "Come on, man... You know it doesn't always show itself right off. Appearances can be deceiving." "Yeah, but he almost cost me my life. I won't make that mistake again."

"Now, speaking of Sean... Are you going to leave that apple up there?" "Hell, no." Bryan pulled a knife out of his back pocket, and cut the thread that held it up. He cut the thread that held the two halves together. "Now, let's go get Star out of there."

When Kevin, Undertaker, Vampiro and Andrew's airplane landed, Andrew lead them to his Mustang that he left there. They went to the New Blood first, but found the parking lot empty and the doors locked. "Vampiro, can you locate her, now," Kevin asked. "I know where she is," Andrew said. "She's at Eric's beach house. Sean and Eric are there with her. Jericho must have left. There are two men hiding outside, in some bushes." He concentrated as hard as he could, and their faces came into view. "It's Adams and Clark." "Good. Atleast she has someone there on her side," Kevin said.

"Clark is not much better than Sean, I fear," Vampiro said. "Why would you say that? Clark has helped us protect Star for the past few years." "With his own purpose in mind. He wishes to marry her, as well." "He's right, Kevin," Andrew said. "He asked her before we went to Canada." "Well, he can atleast hold off any plans Eric and Sean have, for now. We can deal with him later."

"It seems Star is a very popular young lady," Undertaker said. "Bryan and Andrew have pure intentions for marrying her. Sean did as well, until he met Eric. Eric told Sean how powerful a child conceived by the both of them could be," Vampiro explained. "Between Sean's dark powers and Star's light and dark, the child would be more powerful than you, me, Kevin and Andrew combined." "How is that possible," Undertaker asked. "It's in their genes. Eric is a very powerful man, as was Star's mother in the white craft. Sean was the illigitimate child of practically the devil himself. The man you overpowered, Vince McMahon." "If he is so damn powerful, why was I able to take over his company?" "He allowed you to. For what reason, I do not know. But, if he wished, he could have killed you before you even saw him. As for Sean's mother, Vince had bed a woman from his coven; sort of a priestess."

***************************

Inside the New Blood, Vince McMahon walked through the mess left from Andrew's battle with Sean and his henchmen. Hunter, Chyna, and Rocky followed close behind him. "Search his office, Rocky. See if you can find anything of interest." "Hunter..." "Smash the place," he asked excitedly. "No. This is my son's bar. No smashing. You and Chyna go through this mess, and see if you can find any trace of him." Vince went behind the bar, and poured himself a glass of scotch.

Rocky came out of Sean's office carrying a phone book. "I found this, sir. The only other thing I found were some bills for the bar." "Sir, I found this," Chyna said. She held up a shot bead chain with a black dog tag on it. Inscribed on it was "Sean & Star forever". He took the chain from her hand, and read it. "The girl... My son does not give up easily." He closed his eyes. "They are together now, and he is preparing for a wedding. Let's go give him our best wishes."

Mentally, he called Ray, who was waiting down the street in a limo.

chapter 24

While Sean and Eric were busy preparing for the wedding, Clark and Adams snuck into the house. Clark went to the room Star was in, while Adams kept an eye on Sean and Eric. Bryan gently shook Star. "Hey, girl. You need to wake up." She slowly opened her eyes. "Bryan? Why are you here?" She looked around the room. "Where is here?" "You're still in Eric's house. We need to get out of here, before Sean comes back for you." "Sean's here!?" "Shh... Yes, and he thinks you're going to marry him." "Why?" "Because you agreed to while he had you under a spell." "Shit! Fuck! Damn!" "Shhh... You're going to draw attention up here." "Ok," she whispered.

"How do we get out of here?" Bryan put his finger to his lips, then motioned for Star to follow him. He lead her out of the room, and into the hall. As they decended the stairs, Bryan stopped her half way. "What are you doing in my home," they heard Eric say. "Trying to save one of my best friends," Adams replied. "You're referring to my bride," Sean asked. "She is in good hands." He raised his voice, and said, "isn't that right, Bryan Clark?"

Star leaned her forehead on his shoulder. "What do we do now," Star whispered. "You come down the stairs, my dear. I won't bite until our honeymoon," Sean said. Bryan grabbed her arms from behind him, and wrapped them around him. "I won't let him hurt you, my love." Star laid her chin on his shoulder, and kissed his neck. "We haven't got all night," Eric said.

Bryan released Star's arms, and continued down the stairs with her close behind. Sean stared at her left hand. "What the hell is that?" "What?" "On your finger." "It's her engagement ring," Bryan said. "I have asked her to marry me." Star looked at the ring, then at Bryan. "That's right. I agreed to marry him. Atleast he asked me. You and Andrew hadn't even thought to do that, have you?" Sean just smiled. "You're not married to him, yet, and you are still here... You will be my bride by the end of the night."

********************************

"Stop!" Undertaker yelled. "What? What's wrong," Andrew asked, as he slowed the Mustang to a stop. Undertaker jumped out of the car, and walked out into the middle of the field. He pulled the hood over his head. He brought his hands up at his sides.

"Vampiro, what the hell is he doing," Kevin asked. "He's chanting. He's calling for help from someone." Lightening struck in front of Undertaker, and the ground caught fire. The fire took the shape of the symbol on his stone throne. His arms fell to his sides, as he turned back to the car. When he reached the car, Kevin asked, "what was that about?" "Some back up. He will meet us there." "He who," Andrew asked. "You will know when you see him. How far away are we?" "I'd say five minutes." "He is probably there already. Let's go." They all piled back into the car, and took off again.

They stopped down the road from Eric's home, and walked the rest of the way. As they neared a line of bushes fifty feet away from the house, someone said, "they will be out in a moment. Get down." "Brother," Undertaker whispered. "Thank you for helping us." Dismissing what Undertaker had said, he continued. "They are preparing for a wedding. Who is the unlucky bride?" "My girlfriend, Star," Andrew answered. "Where are her gaurdians?" "We are," Kevin said as he pointed from himself to Vampiro. "And her father is holding her inside with this asshole, correct?" "Along with two of her friends. Who the hell are you," Vampiro asked. "Kane." "He's the Undertaker's brother. Remember? I told you about him interfering in our last battle," Kevin said. "Yeah, and if it wasn't Bischoff in there, I'd finish the job," Kane replied.

"Now, let me get this straight. There are four men, and one woman inside; two on the light, one on the dark, and the other two in the middle, right?" "Two on the dark; Eric and Sean. Two on the light; Bryan Clark and Brian Adams. Star is in the middle," Vampiro said. "I don't suppose any of you knew that Clark taught Sean white magic," Kane said. There was a moment of stunned silence.

"Damn it! Where the hell are they," Kevin said, becoming impatient. "Sean discovered Adams," Vampiro said. "And Eric knows Clark is with Star," Kane finished. "Sounds like the Cavalry needs to make the save," Undertaker said. "Taker, you and Andrew take the front. Kevin, you and Vampiro take the back. You should meet in the middle where Adams is being held. I will stay out here, and make sure they cannot escape any other way."

As they began to rise to go through with the plan, a limo parked on the road. "Hold on." He sat in silence, concentrating. "Who wants to explain why McMahan is here?" "He is Sean's father," Vampiro answered. Kane looked at Undertaker. "You make the best enemies at the worst times, brother. He's not alone. Hunter, Chyna, Rock and Ray Traylor are with him." He concentrated again. "And Vince knows we are here."

chapter 25

Inside the house, all hell began to break loose. Sean made a dash for Bryan, while Eric tried to sneak up on Star. She felt his presence behind her, before she saw him. She swung, punching him square in the jaw. Once Eric hit the floor, she shook off the pain shooting through her hand. She ran over to Adams, and untied him. When he stood up, he turned to Star and said, "get out of here. Don't worry about us." Then, he went to help Bryan with Sean. Star ran out the front door.

***********************************************

"Undertaker, why are you cowering behind the bushes?" Vince asked. Undertaker stood, and glared at Vince. "I cower to nothing." He opened his mouth to say something else, but was interrupted by the screen door slamming shut. Star didn't notice anyone was below, until she reached the bottom of the stairs. That's when she saw Vince, and his crew. "Oh, shit." "Chyna, get her."

Andrew stood, and ran toward Star. Sean walked out on the balcony. He put his hand out, his palm facing Star. Slowly, she began to levitate. When Andrew reached her, even her feet were out of reach. She landed on the balcony next to Sean. He gently took her into his arms, despite her resistance. "Star, will you marry me," he asked softly. She stopped struggling. "I realize I've been going about this the wrong way. All I've wanted since we first met, was to be with you." Star laid her hand on his cheek, and he leaned into her soft touch. 'Star, what are you doing?' came Andrew's voice. She pulled her hand back to slap him, but was unable to follow through. "I don't want to fight you." "Then let me make my own decisions. Let me choose who I want to be with." "You will be with me, or no one at all." "Then go to hell!"

As she went to push him away, he pushed her off of the balcony. She stopped mere inches away from hitting the ground. Andrew stood by her side, and helped her up. She threw her arms around his neck. "Oh, Andrew! Thank you." She kissed him passionately. "I love you." "I love you, too, Star."

They were ripped out of their embrace by the demonic duo of Sean and his father, Vince. Vince "threw" Andrew back into the bushes, and Sean "threw" Star against one of the stilts holding the house up. "Son of a bitch," Andrew cursed. He sat there, trying to rethink his plan of action. He was destracted momentarily by Undertaker and Kane going toward the house.

As Undertaker and Kane made their way to the stairs, they became invisible, and slipped by Sean. Kevin and Vampiro laid out an attack plan for Vince. "Resistance is futile, Nash. Your niece will marry my son, or die." Kevin thought of ways to talk Star into marrying Sean, as he stood and faced Vince and Hunter. "I'm glad you're finally seeing things my way, Nash." "Andrew, go get Star," Kevin whispered, as he walked toward Vince.

Vampiro leapt from the bushes, and landed on Hunter. Hunter threw him to the ground, but Vampiro bounced back, and hit him in the jaw. Hunter was thrown in the air from the punch, and he landed on top of the limo, crushing the roof. He sat up, and shook his head. Hunter jumped with animal-like grace and power from the car, and landed on top of Vampiro. Vampiro was able to over power Hunter, and sink his fangs into his opponents neck. He drained Hunter of his life fluids, then tossed him at Vince's feet. He wiped his mouth on his sleeve as he stared at Vince. "It's been so long since I've had human blood." "Join me, and you will get more than you will ever want," Vince said. Vampiro spit Hunter's blood in his face. "I want nothing from you, except Star's freedom." "She'll get it... When she dies."

When Andrew got close to Star, her body raised nine feet in the air. She reached for her throat, and her hands seemed to grasp something solid. She kicked with all her might, until whatever held her up, dropped her. A man began to appear on the ground. He was over seven feet tall, and very heavy. "Show, you idiot! Get her!" Vince yelled at him. As the man slowly got up, Star kicked him in the ribs, then took off running toward Andrew. When she reached him, she asked, "can we please get the fuck out of here?" "Not until we take care of Sean. He'll only follow us, if we don't." "We should regroup, as much as we can. I have a plan," Star said. "Undertaker, where are you?" Star mentally called. "I'm in the house with Adams, Clark and Kane. You must have knocked your dad a good one, 'cause he's still out." "He's awake. He's just blocking you. Be careful."

Undertaker turned around, and punched Eric, knocking him out again. "Now that he's taken care of, please bring Adams and Clark out. I don't know what Sean did to them, but I can see many broken bones in both of them." "I have Adams. Where is Sean?" "On the balcony, still" "I'll take care of him," Andrew cut in.

Andrew concentrated, and made Sean jump from the balcony. Sean was able to land on his feet. Andrew took two steps toward him, before Star grabbed him. "That's not a good idea, Andrew. Even without his powers, he is still a good fighter," Star warned. Andrew turned to her, and kissed her. When Sean saw them, he charged at Andrew. When Sean was close enough, Andrew threw his protective "bubble" up, which knocked Sean on his ass. Andrew let the "bubble" down, turned to Sean, and picked him up from the ground. Andrew was able to get a few good punches in, before Sean caught his fist. Sean punched Andrew in the ribs, knocking the wind out of him.

With all of the emotions whirling through Star's mind, came a storm, bubbling and brewing over head. As her anger toward Sean took over, lightening crashed from the storm. Star focused all of her power on Sean. Before long, he began floating. She put every bit of her energy into pushing his body up in the sky. He went so high, that he was over the roof of Bischoff's house. That's when lightened crashed, striking Sean, and killing him. Then, she let his body fall to the ground.

She turned to look at Vince. Not wanting to die, like his son, he retrieved his henchmen, and got back in the dilapidated limo. As the car slowly began moving down the street, Star kneeled beside Andrew. He had splotches of blood here and there on his face. She touched his face, to help him heal. As she did, the storm clouds over head began to dissipate, letting the full moon shine on them. "Andy," she whispered, when she didn't feel his pain. He didn't respond. She laid her head on his chest. His heart was still beating, and he was still breathing.

She looked up at Vampiro, Kevin and Undertaker, who had gathered around them. "He's not dead, but I can't feel him." "He's unconscious," Vampiro said. "Lets take him back to your place, Star," Kevin said. She nodded, then moved so the men could get him in the car. A tear slid from the corner of her eye, as she sat down beside him.

chapter 26

Once they got to the house, the guys laid Andrew in Star's bed. Star cleaned his scrapes and scratches, then sat beside him, holding his hand. It was a couple hours before she finally felt a pull on her energy. She lifted her head from the bed, and looked at him. "What happened, Star?" "Sean knocked you out. He's dead, now." "How?" "Don't worry about how. He's out of our lives. That's all that matters." He raised her hand to his lips, and softly kissed the back. Star leaned forward, and gently kissed him.

"What about your father?" "We left him in his house. As we left, I set it on fire. Two out of three ain't bad." "You didn't get Vince," he said more than asked. "No. After I killed Sean, he took off with his guys." "He'll probably come back for revenge." "We can face him together." She brushed a few of his hairs out of his face. "What's important is that you are ok. I was worried when I couldn't feel you anymore." "I could feel you." Star laid her head on his chest, and let him draw strength from her.

"You look tired," Andrew said. "I guess I am, a little." "Lay down with me." She laid down beside him, and he took her into his arms. Star laid her head on the pillow, and yawned. "Andrew, I never want to feel as alone as I did when I couldn't feel you." "I'll make sure you never do again." They fell asleep fast.

The next day, they went to visit Adams and Clark in the hospital. They were in such bad shape, that they would never heal on their own. Star had asked Kevin, Vampiro, Undertaker and Andrew to wait outside the room, while she went in to see them. "Bryan." Slowly, they both looked at her. "I'm so sorry. I never wanted the two of you to be hurt for me." They couldn't say anything to her. Star stood between their beds, closed her eyes, and mind-spoke to the only goddess she knew of.

"Aradia, Queen of the witches, please be with my friends as they heal. I realize I am new to the craft, and I only know your name from my grandfather's book, but my friends practice the craft, and were injured by it. In turn, I shall praise you, and worship you, as a faithful witch."

"Star..." Her eyes opened. "Bryan!" She went to his side, and kissed his forehead. "Star, we will be fine. There's no need to worry." "But I do. I only have three friends. You two have been there for me like no one else has." "Return to your coven. They need you. We will join you, when we are healed." "Return to the coven? The coven is gone. We killed them." "No. Your new coven. Kevin, your blood and teacher of the white craft. Vampiro, your protector. Undertaker, your teacher of the black craft. Kira, your friend and future family. And Andrew, your lover and source of power." A tear rolled down her cheek. "Although I still love you, I can not keep you from your fate. Your fate lies with Andrew." She leaned over him, and softly kissed his lips.

"Hey, do I get one of those?" Star turned around to look at Adams. She smiled at him. "The brother I always wanted..." She leaned over, and kissed him. "May the gods be with you as you heal." "Thank you. Clark is right. You belong with your coven now. We will be with you and the others when we get out of here." The door to the room opened. "I'm sorry, miss, but you need to leave. They need their rest," the nurse said. "I'll see you soon, guys."

As she closed the door behind her, Kevin asked, "what did they say?" "They think we should be a coven." "Why not? We work well together, even though yall are a bunch of lighties," Undertaker said. Star looked up at Kevin. "Bryan mentioned Kira being in the coven, and being future family." He smiled. "Yeah, I've thought about it. And, she seems interested in the craft." She looked at Andrew. She wrapped her arms around his waist, and said, "you heard what Bryan said, didn't you?" He smiled at her. "Even he knows you're stuck with me." "I don't mind that one bit." He leaned down, and softly kissed her.

The End
