My dad was such a gentle
soul he was loving and kind that he was one of the best we had ever known.
My dad was such a wonderful man
he would never do anyone
any harm yet he was filled with so much pain I often wished I could have taken it away.
He was sweet he was
honest such a lovely soul was he I felt extremely proud that he was my dad for me and
Anne but I wished that he had not been so lonely.
His pain it showed
through his eyes it made me sigh my oh! why? It was my privilege to have known such
a wonderful dad I often think it would be nice if he were here with us now and maybe we
could have lifted his very sad frown he will never know now how he meant the world to his
daughters me and Anne.
