I loved the Twin Towers and how they rose majestically above
the skyline. They were a symbol of power, financial wealth and modern architectural determination to conquer the elements.
Photographed from all conceivable angles, they were an image, an icon for an age: Tall, strong, invincible. I was fortunate
to discover a whole interior world of forms within the WTC complex. Views out of windows, views through causeways, the lens
of my camera framing architectural elements creating artistic compositions.
The images on these pages reflect this
journey of my eye and camera through the labyrinth of this exciting environment. The subway station shots were done April
of 2001 and the others summer of 1993.
