Josh had his first haircut this month.  We thought it was finally time to get rid of the Krusty the Clown look, so we cut his hair, but only on the sides.  We sat him in his highchair and used his safety scissors (in case he moved).  We couldn't believe how much hair we had at the end, yet we didn't even touch the front or back.  Its funny how the front is very straight, but the back is very curly.  The front we just comb to the side and the back just curls up, so it doesn't look that long.

Here is a picture of Josh sitting with his teddy and monkey (and wearing his monkey pyjammas).  I was sitting in his room reading him a book and that is where he decided to sit!  It was so cute, we just had to get a photo!

Lately he has been very cuddly and sits in our laps and come up for cuddles.
He even gets a book and brings it to me to read it to him.
His favourite book at the moment is a squeaky book called Silly Kids.

Finally all the one year old parties are over!!!  Here is a picture of Josh in his Trouble Magnet tshirt.  It suits him to a tea!  He is always looking for trouble, and getting into things.
Though lately he has also been a very good boy and has been helping to put things away and will close the door when you tell him to.  He has also learnt how to turn the light on and off when you hold him up to the light switch.

And this is what Josh looks like with his new haircut!  Isn't it amazing how a little cut can make such a big difference to his face!  He looks so much older now!

This is Josh's new swing.  We have hung it out on the patio and he absolutely loves it!  He squeals with laughter if he hold the swing up really high and then let it go.  It is also good for keeping him occupied while hanging out the washing!
