Bang Bang!

While going for a walk with Josh, he loves to run up to the fire hydrants, and hit them, saying "bang bang".  So that is his new word for fire hydrants.  He also says 'red bang bang' if it is a particularly shiny red one!  There is one around the corner from our house which has fallen over, so that is 'oh no bang bang'.

He even looks for them while we are driving in the car.

Where's it gone?

This story could get a bit embarrasing when he is older... he he he.

Josh was sitting on the bed getting ready to get dressed when he put his doodle between his legs and said "Where gone?"  I don't know where he picked that trick up from?!?!?

What is your name?

Josh has now learnt to answer some very important questions...

Q: What is your name? A: Josh

Q: How old are you? A: Two!

Q: What is your mum's name? A: Trace

Q: What is your dad's name? A: Kel

Q What colour are mum's eyes? A: green

Q: What colour are your eyes? A: blue

(He can't quite get the colour of Dad's eyes, coz they are hazel, and mainly just says that they are green too.  )

Bedtime stories
I have started reading to Josh each night before bed, and somehow the list of books that I have to read has grown to about five!  There is the Thomas and the Bees story (where he likes to add in the names of other trains now, like Gordon and Toby).  Then there is the Wee book (a book about a girl who it potty training.  Josh thinks it is hilarious when I get to the bit where the girl wees on the floor!)  There is the Poo book (about a dinosoar who is potty training and poos on the floor (can you see a theme here?).  Then there is the cow book (Pamela the cow who eats pears) and the Knock Knock book (Knock Knock, open the flap and Josh says "Who's there?).  The problem is that three of those books are from the libaray and are due back this week.  I wonder how long I can keep renewing the same books!  Though I would like a change.  I'm thinking that even Blob is going to be born knowing the words to these books!
