My favourite moment: leaving for work in the morning with Josh saying "Bye Mum!"

His favourite shirt: Thomas the Tank Engine, or Spiderman.  Both of these he has worn and not wanted to take off when it was time for a shower.

Here is a picture of Mr Nappy Head!  Just a funny game we were playing one morning after his shower.  It looks like one of those old style bonnets!

On Melbourne Cup Day we went to the beach.  It was a lovely 28 degrees that day.  First we went to Geelong and went to the shops.  Then we headed off toward Torquay.  Josh fell asleep on the way and I didn't want to wake him so we just kept driving.  The plan was to drive along the Great Ocean Road and just go the beach where ever he woke up.  Luckily it wasn't too long or we might have ended up in Warnambool!  We ended up stopping a little bit past Anglesea (I think it was called Black Point Road Beach or something like that).  It was a pretty quiet spot, considering it was such a nice day - I guess most people were watching some horse race!?!?  Josh loved playing in the sand.  I took him for a walk into the water, but he got a bit scared when the waves came up.  We dug a big hole in the sand and filled it with water.  Josh had his own private lagoon!  He loved it when we splashed the water all over him.  By the end of the day it was hard to get him out of the water.  The tide was down so we walked and walked for ages and it only came up to his waist.  The drive home was really busy so we stopped in Geelong and had Smorgy's for tea.  It was a really nice day.

Here is a picture of Josh riding his trike.  He loves to ride it to the letter box with me, but usually he likes to keep going and we end up walking to the end of the street where there is a big paddock.  And usually I have to carry him home screaming because he wants to keep riding across the paddock.
In the video clip this month, we have Josh riding his trike up and down the back step.  We have a little daredevil here!  He is not satisfied with riding his bike normally... he needs a ramp!  You can't really see it in the video, but he kept doing that for about 5 minutes straight, just going back and forth, up and down the step.  (And five minutes is a long time for Josh to be doing one thing!!!!)
