Cake!
I took so long to update the website last month that I don't have much to say this month!
Josh
had lots of fun making and decorating a cake for Dad's birthday (though he was no good at keeping the whole thing a surprise!!!).
The funniest
part was when I turned my back for a second and he had pushed all the smarties into the cake! Very Creative!
The toilet
training is coming along slowly. We have good days and bad days. I have started giving Josh a sticker each time
he uses the toilet, which he then sticks to the toilet seat lid. So we have a very pretty toilet at the moment!
Josh
has become quite the parrot lately too and will copy just about anything you say.
He has
also started asking to call me while I am at work - which is very cute, and we have some very intersting conversations...
usually about when I am going to get on the train to come home, and how he wants to take Eddie for a walk to meet the train.
Josh
has finally started to get this whole baby thing now! He knows that the nursery is the baby's room, and the pram is
the baby's pram.
Josh
has really started to get excited about school now (child care) which he goes to on Thursdays. One day I had to use
his lunch box for something and he thought he was going to school. He was a bit disappointed when I said that it wasn't
a school day.
Josh
has already got three bad habits (which I think he picked up from his father!!!) 1. Biting his nails. 2.
Grinding his teeth. 3. Putting his hands down his pants (ha ha that should embarrass him when he is older!)
It is
amazing to me that a two and a half year old can already have bad habits!
