In the Garden
Here is a picture of Josh playing in the backyard.  He loves being pushed in his swing, or riding the bike.  He also likes to pull all his toys out of the shed.  The first thing he goes for once he is out the door is the watering can.  He takes it to the taps and pretends to fill it up.  He has a little toy watering can, but he still loves to use the big one.  When he goes to Grandma and Grandpa's house that is the first thing he likes to do there too (though Grandpa actually lets him use the hose to fill up the watering can).
Josh also likes collecting rocks (and sometimes trying to eat them).
I have started making a sandpit for Josh, but it might take a while to finish with all this cold weather.  Plus we have to stop the cats using it as a litter!

Josh's new tricks
Josh can blow out candles.  The first time he did this was at his cousin Matthew's birthday.  Now everytime we light the oven we have to let Josh blow out the match.
Josh has learnt how to blow kisses.  This is a very new trick he learnt yesterday, we are still working on this one.
Josh can give High Fives.  I've also played the game with him where you go "Give me 5, up high, to the side, down low - too slow"  Josh cracks up laughing when I do the 'too slow' bit.
The words that Josh can say at the moment are: Cheese, See Ya, Nana (for banana), Ta (he has been getting very good manners recently), fish, da (for duck), Es (for Shrek) and dad.
When he goes to his Nanny's house he walks in the door, points at the tv and says 'Es Es Es' because he wants to wach Shrek.

Food Food Food!
Josh loves his food.  He is actually a bit of a scab coz if you are eating something he loves to come up and talk you into giving him some.
His favourite foods are bananas and cheese.  He also likes spaghetti and meatballs, grapes and mandarins.
Josh can eat with a fork by himself, but we mostly put the food on the fork for him and he does the rest.
Josh had been getting so good at helping himself to the fridge and getting out the milk, or cheese, or margarine or whatever else tickled his fancy that we have now installed a childproof lock on the fridge.  It will take us a while to get used to though!  The first time Josh tried to open the fridge with it on he started crying.

Our Swimming Champion
Last weekend we took Josh to the pools.  Unfortunately we forgot the camera but we will try to get some pictures next time - Josh loved it so much that we will definitely have to go again!
At first Josh wasn't sure about it, it had been ages since the last time we went.  Once he got the hang of it you couldn't stop him!
He splashed and jumped around in the toddler pool and then we went into the wave pool.  It took him a while to work out that he couldn't touch the bottom - but he didn't seem to care.  He even jumped in from the side of the pool right into my arms!  A few times his head went under the water and he just spat the water out when we pulled him up again.

PS. He looked very cute in his speedos!
